Taking us serious or not did not give an answer to my question, you can easily say that you don't know rather than switching the focus.

Moreover you can't really give a clear account of what really happened, how the whole desecration of NRI kingship took place and who was actually culpable.

If we should go into it, we'll take a swift switch from what is being discussed and we'll dwell on it for a very long time.

Who are you and where do you come from?

I am from Idenmili north ,Umuoji specifically ,and I have vast knowledge of Anambra sociocultural structure and my conclusions are based on many years of study and observations. I group Anambra towns based on language, traditions and social structure.

Umuoji people are known for their loud mouth, if someone should not be taken seriously it should be you, your town is very inconsequential in Anambra.

I initially thought you're from Anambra east axis, Aguleri but not knowing that you're not to be counted, can you trace Umuoji origin back to Eri? No and you're here claiming to know all. Abeg go sidon for one side ka m neghalia Anya.

Firstly, you dont know jack about Umuoji....lol. You dont even know Enugu Ukwu history. Now, let's leave it at that. But, I have something else to tell you. We dont go about stealing people's festival and claiming unfounded superiority. That's what Enugu Ukwu do. You tried to steal IGU ARO from Agukwu Nri and ended up with an inferior version not knowing the Igbo calendar...lol. You dont have any original festival...lol

Now, Uzo iyi Umuoji pool more crowd than Ofala Onicha.
Ijele Umuoji brought glory to Anambra and Igbo land at Abuja.
Akuezuozo Umuoji is celebratated as one of the oldest masquerade still in existence over 10 century old.
Egwu Obi Umuoji is hailed as one of the most authentic traditional music ever made.

Igwulube Okodu are proud not because of riches but because of our culture. But I am here to promote the Omanbala brotherhood not for Umuoji.

To debunk you squarely on your illusive assertions will be of a great pleasure to me.

Enugwu Ukwu has nothing to steal from their younger one, I know that will come as a surprise to you cos you ain't aware that Enugwu Ukwu was the first son of our great patriarch Nri. Twisting history will add no viable significance to your shallow knowledge.

All the festival you mentioned which your town is known for are all ceremonious and non has nothing to do with core Igbo traditional heritage, and historically non has lasted above two centuries.

Coming to riches you mentioned towards the end of your remark, I'll state categorically that your town is way behind in the chart of prosperous communities in Anambra, politically you're no where to be found, just specifically exceptional in nothing but boosting and loud mouth.

You can't even answer my simple question, can you? No. But let me repeat for the sake of setting the record straight, can you trace Umuoji origin to Eri? I challenge you. If you can't then you shy off beside and listen to me teach you your origin.

My brother I tire.
I lived with my grandfather who died at ripe age of 97years, and not for once did he mention "Omanbala" to me.
Omabala/Anambra river is a foreign culture to Idemili land, my mother use to tell me stories about Ndi Omabala who are also known as Ndi mbamili.

Ogidi cannot trace her history to Nri. Heck, Ogidi has no single brother in Idemili, we have no fillial relationship with Idemili communities surrounding us, other than the fact that we had lived together for long and had now developed common culture and speech form.
Ogidi is supposed to be the only son of Inwelle, who was the only son of Ezechumagha. Where Ezechumuagha hails from is vague and there are no clear genealogy linking him to Nri.
From my wide readings, the part of Igboland who answers the name Ogidi much, are Anioma people, and we even have Akili-Ogidi in Ogbaru. Akili people being an ancient Igbo speaking people who were indigenous to present day Aboh Ndokwa/Ukwuani part of Delta,, who were conquered and forced to cross the river Niger to their present location by Aboh people who Agbor people claims migrated from Agbor and were descendants of an Agbor prince whose mother was Bini and whose relationship with the king was forbidden by the people, leading to her death and her young prince banished from Agbor with servants and well wishers into the lower Niger, then known in Igbo realm as Oru/Olu.

This prince born of Bini mother and Agbor mother is who Aboh people know as Essumai, and as expected, his history had been embellished and distorted in Aboh so that rather than appear as a reject from Agbor, we are being told that he was a prince and a son of an Oba of Bini, even when it's obvious the man spoke Igbo from the beginning, named his new found town with Igbo tongue, ie Aboh ji, gave his first son Igbo name, Ogwaezi( home on the road), and left us with an Igbo speaking Aboh.
It was this prince(Esumai) son (Ogwaezi) who drove the Akili natives of Ndokwa away towards their current location in Ogbaru Anambra, while assimilating some of them who go by the name Akarai in Ndokwaland today.

Some Anioma folklores also speak of an ancient Kingdom called Ogidi, that existed in present Enu ani area, that was attacked and destroyed by invaders (?Bini warriors) leading to scattering of her people.

Point is that Igbo history is deep and all interwoven.
Every attempt to create artificial Omanbala identity, that would deny us the chance to study Igbo history better, will always be resisted by well meaning Igbo people.

I doubt he can trace Umuoji history directly to Nri, a part of Umuoji history talks about migrants from Arochukwu during formative years of the town. The likes of him would have such detail buried and denied just to promote his Omanbala agenda.

He isn't any different from the Anioma people hell bent on their Bini agenda or those interested in creating a new Anioma identity totally detached from Ndiigbo.

THIS IS NOT POLITICS.

THIS IS SERIOUS.

IGBO HAVE NOT RECOVERED FROM THE HEAVY LOSS FROM CIVIL WAR.

THEY KILL IGBO IN NORTH THAT IS BAD ENOUGH BUT WE CANNOT TOLERATE THAT IN OUR VILLAGES OR IGBOLAND.

U HAVE TO ENVISAGE YOURSELF IN THE SHOES OF THEIR VICTIMS AND LOVED ONES IN IGBO LAND.

AND HONESTLY ASK URSELF, IF U CAN TOLERATE SUCH, I.E. FULANI RAPING FAMILY MEMBERS AND KILLING THOSE U ARE FOND OF.

THIS IS HOW, I SEE THINGS AND Y AM PREPARED TO PURSUE FULANI EVEN TO ADAMAWA AND NASARAWA.

Pazienza, ana esi na unor dili mma wee puo ilo. The people who live around you today are your brothers. Agwago m' gi.....Stop chasing shadows. There Ogidi people who bear Omanbala as last name , same as Umuoji.

Just to correct an impression, Umuoji outdates Aro...Infact ,Okodu have very clear history of "Ikpo nhu" na Agukwu Nri. Now, ask me what is "NHU"

Calling us Aro is an insult. It's a mere speculation. We have a written history of Umuoji and we are blood relatives to Nkpor and Abatete. Some villages also migrated from Ogbunike and Umudioka. You of all people should know better.

Typical local man bragging about other peoples wealth. Did you take inventory to know between Enugu Ukwu and Umuoji who is richer ? However, you sound too confident for a person who openly states cultureless Enugu Ukwu is elder to Agukwu Nri. Its on record that Agukwu Nri is the settlement place of Menri after departure from Aguleri. The first Iguaro was performed by Ife ukwu anim ,but out of desperation build a status they never had, all of a sudden, Enugwu Ukwu is marking the Iguaro....Sicckos!

Now, talking about original festivals.
Ogidi na eme nwafor
Ojoto na eme egwu eke
Onicha na agba Ofala
Awka na eme Imo Oka
These are all original festivals....Tell us what you have other than the stolen Iguaro invented by Agukwu Nri.

And what has Eri got to do with this...Eri met people when he arrived.
Finally, drive through Umuoji then come back and talk to me...Ndi Umuoji were some of the earliest to made money in Otu Onicha and played a major role in the formation of the legendary People's club of Nigeria. Some of the most powerful people in the People's Club were from Umuoji...Go listen. But I hate bragging about wealth. Its stupid!

Trash as usual, like I said earlier, it's quite typical of your lots to brag about boosting so needless to give a damn care.

First to make money indeed, has any Umuoji man past and present ever make the list of top ten richest Igbo men?

Talking about festival, can you tell me any festival your town indulge in today which has. It's origin with your people?

Talking about peoples club, placing it high to the heights of legendary is a sheer display of misplacement of facts and overemphasizing of irrelevant issue. Belonging to peoples club is and was not a template of wealth assessment or great accomplishments.

In the political history of Anambra state, old and present Anambra, Umuoji has played little or no significant role in its process, at present, there's no person of note your lot can boost of in Anambra.

Finally, cos I'm not used to talking too much like your lots, towing erroneous route down the history of Ifikuanim has finally placed the last sealing on the heavy baggage of your load of ignorance pertaining Nri historical dynasty, therefore seeing how glaring your ignorance is, it's only fitting and advisable not to elucidate you, better muddle on with your ignorance on that regard.

You are daft and you have comprehension problem. Go back and read my posts. Jeez, no wonder Nigeria is so backward. You are a product of Nigerian failed education system and its sad. Igbos claim to be wealthy but non is in the top 5 richest Nigeria. How about that ? Nnewi with all their wealth has zero political influence in Anambra...How about that? Enugwu Ukwu has deputy Gov. but you are largely unknown. What culture stands you out ? None. Because you are not imaginative...ntoor grin

Onicha, Obosi and Awka are some of the most educated Anambra people but they have little political influence in Anambra.
Umuoji people played important role during Ngige and an Umuoji man was President African development Bank and chairman ANSSIPPA...lol. Igwe Cyril Enweze. Obi of Onicha talked about him as one of the notable Igbo achievers...lol.

Umuoji invented Uzoiyi and today Nkpor and Abatete celebrates it. Talk about cultural influence...lol

You didn't invent Ofala
You didnt invent Iguaro
You didnt invent Ufejioku
You didnt invent Igba Odu
You didn't invent Ijele
You didn't invent Abiulor
You didn't invent Akwunechenyi

Everything you have is borrowed then you try to lay claim...lol

Let me broaden your ill fated history cum political oblivion, Nnewi are so significant and so known politically than what you can ever imagine.

First, the military governor of the defunct eastern region and the leader of the Republic of Biafra is from Nnewi, Nnewi has produced federal parliamentarians in former republics, Nnewi has produced a federal minister, deputy governor and now a senator of the federal republic.

You talked about Enugwu Ukwu having a deputy governor in the person of Dr Nkem Okeke but you failed to note that Enugwu Ukwu is one of the few Igbo towns that has produced more than one senator a feat Umuoji is not dreaming of in the next two centuries, their names are Sen. Chukwuemeka Udenze(Lord Mayor) 1979-1983, Sen. Dr. I.G Abana 2003-2006,. Note Abana represented you in the red chambers.

Furthermore, we've also produced two members of the house of representatives another feat your community cannot boost of, their names are Rt Hon. Dozie Nwankwo(APGA 2015-2019), Hon. Valentine Ayila(PDP 2019-2023) representing Njikoka/Anaocha/Dunukofia federal constituency, Enugwu Ukwu has also produced a federal minister, another feat an illiterate filled community of yours can't boost of, his name is Justice Clement Akpamgbo, a former minister of justice and attorney general of the federation. Numerous LGA chairmen and state house of assembly members to spice it up, so shoe get size, adi AMA aka.

No you don't know, he was my great grand father, high chief Ifeacho Ibekwe, Ozomma Otigbuanyinya Enugwu Ukwu na Umunri. Note Agwunah's coronation took place in 1958 and in attendance was Nigeria's colonial governors general Sir James Robertson, when did akum became your igwe?

Ugezu and Ken Erics? These are mediocre....I hate throwing names around. Ernest Ufele...Rangers '77. One of the pioneers. Ikechukwu Ofoje also Rangers is the head coach South Carolina University football team. The guy that played Peter from Rattlesnake is from Umuoji.

Let's talk about your culture because that's what started our exchanges. What did you invent. Forget individuals, we currently have reps from Umuoji and people who have achieved great things.

According to former Anambra state governor,Peter Obi.

"Governor Obi commended the community for preserving their age-long cultural heritage and for supporting the state government policies and programmes, assuring them that he would continue to identify with them in all its ramifications.

Obi disclosed that it was the masqueraders from Umuoji that helped the state to win the first position during the 2006 national cultural carnival in Abuja tagged: Abuja Carnival and then won second position in 2007 Abuja carnival.

He said that some of their masqueraders would be selected for this year's Abuja carnival later in the year"

Let's talk culture,forget individual achievement.
Egwu Obi Umuoji brought musical revolution to Igbo land in '70' and '80s. They travelled around Igbo land teaching their graceful dance steps.

What is Enugwu Ukwu known for...Is it Agwuna or Akpangbo ? These are dead individuals.

Are we to talk about sports? Have you heard of Emeka Nwanah Ayaya, a member of Enyimba squad that lifted champions league twice, he is my town's man and I'm so proud of him. You talk of Peter in rattle snake, lol, where is he now and who knows his name? Do you? No. Agwunah and Akpamgbo may be dead but their legacies live forever and until your tenth future lineage dies your community can't produce their likes, did I hear you say Umuoji has a rep member? For your information, Idemili North and south federal constituency is been represented by Hon. Obinna Chidoka from Obosi reelected recently, Umuoji in history has no business in the federal.

I can't forget individual accomplishments cos community's progress is being measured by individual and collective achievements.

Lest I forget, Anambra sports man of the year 2018 award was given to an Enugwu Ukwu guy who plays for Rakes basketball team USA. So in all facets, adira AMA aka.

We are talking of progressive contemporary achievements you're bringing forward outdated practices that adds no value to your present living.

FAMILIAR SPIRIT tormenting you that's why all you think of is masquerades lol. grin grin angry grin

Ken Eric and Ugezu mediocres? Guy you must be the greatest comedian of all time. Lol, very funny thing, who, even if they are mediocres, can you compare with them from Umuoji? Simply your community lacks achievers because of their inferiority complex and mediocrities. Ugezu is the best nolllywood producer and director east of the Niger presently, if you doubt, well google is ever ready to educate you.

In fact, your presentation is highly laughable. No comparison.
