MusingsOfALady:I felt exactly the same when I was applying last month, the charges are extremely crazy and exploitative. What I did was to pick the same day and time for me and my family and it was treated as a single family application. 1 Like |

Thank you for your response. Just to be clear, rather than choose flexi, you choose same day and time slot for all of you? Can more than 1 person choose same time slot? Also do you know if the passports can be couriered together? Thank you Infiosa: |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Infiosa: 1:25pm On Apr 10, 2019 |
MusingsOfALady:Sure, more than one person can choose the same day and time. Of course, you won't be the only one scheduled for the time slot you have chosen. All you need to do is to ensure that time slot chosen can accommodate all of u. In my own case, I wanted March 14 but that date couldn't accommodate me and family as available slots for each time could only accommodate one applicant. I had to go for March 26 when I was able to choose same date and time for everyone and our applications were treated on single file. If I was to use courier service, all passports would have been on single parcel. 1 Like |

Hello @justwise and other guru's on the platform. Your counseling is required. A friend was refused UK visit visa. The ECO states "your application is refused under paragraph V4.2(e) of immigration Rules. Then further elaborated that visit visa has been refused under paragraph V4.2(a) (c). He would like to appeal and reapply. What are the implications of the above stated sections(statements) and any positive of probably getting the nod if he should reapply. The main challenge was of inflated deposit, given consistent closing balance in his bank account prior to the application period while making a deposit of about a million naira close the application. Any one with possible solution or counsel on appeal process for favorable outcome at re-application show please offer it, to help a brother. Thanks |

Enick: I don't think you understood that section of your refusal letter, the ECO is questioning the source of that money because is larger than your stated salary, basically how were able to save from your salary to invest such amount. Secondly..your salary doesn't reflect in your account regularly, so the amount you stated as your salary does show in your account on monthly basis. Those are the main issues you need to address if you want to reapply |

ebose09: 1. To know the amount you will be needing for the trip .. you have to do the budget breakdown first then see if you can afford it. 2. No your friend can not sponsor you for visiting visa. |

holubukola: -Her application was badly planned so the outcome wasn't surprising. -You don't expect a retired elderly woman to spend £500 of her savings on foreign trip. -You people decided to start playing money into her account few days to her application without explaining where the money came from. -Your husband planning to spend all his savings on her visit ..does not add up. If you want to reapply then sponsor the whole trip but £2000 in your husband's account will not fly. 1 Like |

Sorry for my repeated questions on the way forward. 1. My company does not operate a staff salary account. They pay directly by hand and you received a payment slip, which clearly indicate how salary was received. Same pay slip was attached to my submitted document. 2. Source of the money is from my father land which was sold as my brother transferred into my account sometimes in 2015. I choose to invest it instead of wasting it. It is clearly not from my salary. Having looked at my case, would you advise I wait a little longer and reapply again without making mention of the reason why I was previously refuse or I should use the sponsor and don't make mention of the investment. Biko, help.... I don't want to make another mistake.

justwise: |

justwise: Thanks Justwise the source was explained that it was cash from her store and contributions that she put in there and that she does more of cash transaction more.... 1.so should we reduce the number of months (3weeks instead of 5months ) 2.Amount she will be spending to 100pound is that reasonable then 3.Hubby contribution to 1000pounds with 4,000 plus balance Do you think it will fly then Planning to reapply in July....as we want to run her account from now till then. We thought since it was going to be an all expense paid so we didn't run the account for her we just some money so that when she prints statement it won't have small money and we explained too 4.It was not all my husband savings it was balance available as at date statement was printed and we thought since we indicated she will be arriving in July that they will consider that more money will come in then as 6months payslips was submitted - |

Hello @Justwise and Team, Thanks for your amazing work on this thread. I am applying for a 6 months visiting visa for an adult and two children, Can you kindly advise how best I can handle the finances for the children? 1. How do I capture all the cost for the trip? For example if the trip is costing 100k do I place the total cost of 100k on the principal's application and nothing for the children or do I repeat the cost as 100k for each applicant or share the cost across the 3 applicants? 2. The person sending the invite is also contributing 500pounds towards the trip, how should that also be treated? Thanks |
