To everyone here, I need a candid advice to those who are experienced in matters-related to Dubai. I went to Dubai around December last year, and I left February this year! Initially, I only visited as a tourist and I enjoyed the place! The security, cleanliness, relationship and composure of that country is a top-moth. That been said. Now I’m planning to go back again as a worker, I mean, to find a job!! Would you advice I do 3 months VISA or find a million to do the resident visa? Because I heard someone with a resident visa would earn more than someone who got employed with 3 months visa. How true is this? And what advice can you give?
NB: I have the resources for the 3 months package including the ticket fee, but I don’t have a million yet for the residency..

If you spent 3 good months in dubai as a tourist before just to come and flex and not hustling as u claim, then you are a big boy and dont need answers from this forum 3 months experience in Dubai for you before is enough to gather the experience you needed to know about Dubai, so you don't need another 3 months again to come and know how things works in dubai.

Friend, Friend, Friend, if he scams you now it will be another story you will bring up here, you guys think it’s that easy for someone to find you a job in UAE? Do you know if that your friend is actually working and has a valid Emirates ID? If you know what is good for you, process your visa and travel to UAE in person if you really want to find a job and get one eventually.

You received a text through which medium? Can you reply the text and ask these questions? What about the person processing the visa for you? He or She should have an updated step for you to follow and things to carry along. I’m saying all these Incase no one has actually recently gone to Abuja for employment visa process on the thread that can reply you.

Please I need help. I was in UAE from 2015 to 2017 on employment Visa. I return to Nigeria in 2017 but I kept communication with my Boss (Emirati.) In January 2019 this year, he asked me on whatsapp if I will like to work for him again which I accepted. I sent him my passport and he has processed my employment Visa. I received my contract and signed it few days ago (which excluded my offer letter.). Of course everything was done free of charge without requesting for a penny. But my concern is that I was expecting he would include my offer letter which will state my salary but I only received contract form to sign. Though I was collecting 1500 dirams without Certificate in my last employment with him. But this time he requested for my
Attested degree and ssce Certificate for my new position which according to him will be higher that my previous position. Am expecting the Visa in some days time. according to him it will take less than 6 days. Please how can I find it how much salary he has fill for me in the contract. I don't want to ask him since he told me that the salary will be better than what I was earning. Please someone should help me on how I can find the details of the contract to know my salary. This man is really nice and I had wonderful experience working for him for 2 years.

To me this shows all kinds of desperation, why would you accept and even sign a Labour contract without asking for an offer letter to know what position and salary you would be earning monthly.

You did not ask the person that offered you the job to know your salary and have it written down on paper with both of your signatures on it and you believe his word of mouth.

Go and ask the person that hired you because no one here is in the man’s mind to tell your salary.

i will advise you to do the security course in Dubai ; it’s around 1700aed

Only way to get a job is to search for the job, unless you prefer to pay an agent and stand a chance of losing your money
