While those ones you mentioned are doing Q on Q improvement, Uniondiag is doing Q on Q dropping.

one day a cat was strolling in the bush looking for what to eat.It eventually entered a hunters trap and the tail was cut off.

The cat called a meeting telling fellow cats he will like everyone of them to look the way he is looking but a wise one among them told the bereaved cat you don't want to tell us what happened to you.you alone will remain like this...

Peter, you alone will remain without tail......

The CAT SCENERIO you painted is EXACTLY what TONY and COY is planning to do to TRANSCORSPSE ORDINARY SHAREHOLDERS.

They DEFINITELY device a WAY to CIRCUMVENT their ORDINARY shareholders.

I see people already making N5 projection .You think they will fold their hands and watch you chop power money don't worry you go chop fire grin grin grin

GTI Securities Limited.

- Efficient online trading platform
- Efficient customer service
- Total trading fees is 3.75% ( 1.725% buy fees and 2.025% sell fees ).
That rate will not suit someone like me who can buy and sell almost immediately afterwards even at 5% gain.
Morgan remains my best.

I currently use 2 brokers. Morgan and United Capital. Morgan is cheap (about 1% commission all round, while United Capita is 2% commission all round).

However, for Customer Service, United Capital is 100% okay. You can use the platform or you can send e-mail to trade. Morgan will never, allow you to trade by e-mail, as they will keep telling stories which an average person cannot comprehend.

Also, whether the United Capital platform is working or not, your e-mail orders will be executed without any excuse. Also after selling, your money will be sent to your account without you asking. I always like to place my order in days in advance without need to key-in everyday; for this United Capital is super. For this single reason, I want to trade more with United Capital due to their excellent Customer Service, thank God for the now reduced commission which has closed the gap in charges compared with Morgan. In conclusion for me United capital is it. On Customer service United Capital is heaven, while Morgan is hellish and very deaf/dump (sorry for being this hash).

But Morgan has been very efficient in executing email orders for me.
Maybe, they have turned in a new leaf.
I never encountered any issue with them. They execute trade orders for me at the speed of light, especially when I r bid at market price.
I haven't executed a trade via the I-trade platform rather all the orders I submitted was via email.
From my experience, I will vote for Morgan capital securities group at any time.
I patronised A. R. M and Meristem in the past.
Brokerage fee, good customer relations, I give it to Morgan.
ARM and Meristem are guilty of having preference for the large portfolio investors and neglect the minority (Tashere) shellholders.
As for me, I grab, hold and board the morgan train till my Tashere portfolio clock 10billion gang... Lol

If what I saw today is what to rely on, tomorrow's bid will be more than 40m vs 0 offer.

The #5 journey will not happen automatically.....It will go up,then drop and built a new support for a while, move up again and the rest will become a story.

Transcorp is sighted at #5.The way it happened when ughelli power plant was bought is here to play again.

All stock broking firms are looking for Transcorp shares to hold.

The script may have been written with the way this govt favours Elumelu and his comments about supporting Buhari to borrow from the Chinese to finance power, his comments about the money owed Transcorp, even the Q1 reduced result and the bid reviews to favour Transcorp etc.
I simply pray that God helps us to gain as much as possible from this opportunity however the script plays out.

True but the Tony I know must shake out people first... My own is to petch in a corner waiting for the right time to strike. Like ekiti ex governor Fayose

They are most likely to raise funds from the market... And the build up to that is to raise price, raise money from the market to reduce debt. AFAM is a good reason to come to the market for fresh funds... The question is what will be Mr. T target price.

Loco,

I hail you. I have checked what happened during ugheli 2012 to 2013. Hope we have the same. You are an old man!

Those that will buy high are part of those that would fund the acquisition. There have been a lot of institutional buy.
Now is time to sell high.

simply means that the company in question is yet to meet ALL the requirements for listing of its shares as a public quoted company on the NSE. These may include public float of a certain % of its outstanding shares, viz-a-viz; allotment, up to date financials/accounting standards, payment of annual listing fees, transparency etc

Hate to say this but I agree with Peterichy.

As soon as Transcorp acquired the Abuja Hilton, the share price spiked.
Next thing we knew, Tony and co listed Transcorp Hotels.
Today, it trades at more than 5x parent's value.

Make what you can from the spike then withdraw.
Medium to long term and based on Tony's antecedents, I expect Transcorp Power to go PLC.
It is finally of the right size.

Again, Holdco shareholders will be shafted!

I can say this has 100% possibility, this men are no different from yahoo yahoo boys.

Just that they sit in a glass house and have the govt backing. If not, why will you take money from the masses and invest in a business and the only time they should reap, you take it out and list it separately without even giving them any form of dividend instead they increase admin expenses. Why not go to those outside investors and get the money from the onset instead of coming to the market to take our hard earned money.

Because they know the kind of demand those major investors will place on them, hence they go for general offering from the market. That is Corporate Yahoo yahoo.

For this alone I avoid whatever Tony or Wale controls...until dey begin to fear God o!

Report reaching me from a strong source has it that Barti Airtel has started out plans to list its Nigerian arm of business, Airtel Nig on the floor of the Nig stock exchange.
The same source also says that Mtn Nig is near done with its preparation to list on the exchange.
It says the expectation is that there'll be 4-5 new listing from multinationals/company's this year.

Hopefully, the listing of these Telco multinationals and more will help expand and boost our market by bringing the much needed liquidity.

It is well !!

Reports has it that the Emir of Kano and former CBN governor, Mr Sanusi Lamido Sanusi will be joining the board of MTN Nigeria.
Also on the list of new entrance is Mr Vincent Rague(of kenyan nationality) a senior finance expert and former member of the IFC and World bank.
Both fellows appointment is expected to take off from the 1st of July, 2019. ...I suppose that the listing of the IPO would be on or before then. MTN already has a PLC license from the CAC in readiness to this.
I also think Mr Sanusi may likely assume the position of the new board chairman... given that the former chairman of MTN group, Mr Phuthuma Nhleko(a south african) will be stepping down later this month.

But beyond that, I suspect something playing out here... there are links to 2 quoted coys on the exchange.

It is well !!
