2. Please, GRE does not guarantee a visa. I have seen tons of student get visa without GRE and i have seen students got denied with GRE. All that matters is preparation. However, Standardized exam do improve your chances of getting the visa.
3. You got visa with GRE is your business! You didnt get visa without GRE is their business! You get visa with/without GRE is our business.
4. Prepare as you go for your interview. Dont be discouraged because you didnt write the GRE. You will get the visa IJN.

No you dont have to. Just reschedule!

If you have filled the form before and have previously schedule an interview date, kindly go to the appointment booking cite and on your left pane, you will see option to reschedule there. And you don't need to fill another DSFORM. Hope that helps. Best!

I think for every new appointment you have to complete ds160.... what do you mean reschedule ?. You attended and was denied or you havent attended but just need to reschedule

Hi guys my Visa was denied today.... I wouldn’t still blasphem cos errytin happens for a reason luckily I know the reason why it was denied.All questions asked was answered with tailored answer. She type for a long time then asked me for my statement of account. As the Devil wud have it my dad had withdrawn a substantial amount from the account for his business. So the balance was exactly my school fees. Before then she had dropped my passport in a box below.The moment she asked for my SOA I knew I was in trouble. She kept doing the conversion and comparing with the amount on my 1-20. She did this for about 8minutes. Shook her head picked up my passport and returned it with the Regular yellow paper with the normal Line that follows it.

When you avoid GRE like a plague (when you are supposed to take it), you are simply taking a stu.pid risk.

I like to commend you for the courage to share this. Your dad has to put in more money. Changing your sponsor is not ideal.

It's only a sign of laziness. There's no Substantial reason.
Some say " my school did not require it"

Why would one deliberately leave oneself at the mercy of the VO?

This forum tailored my Preparation and transcripts. That been said,I only have a mail from the grad coordinator that the GA can only be triggered after the first semester so it didnt appear on my 1-20. On the statement of account I have started making plans to rectify. Nearly! but we move! Thank you

No it must not have the exact statement.

Yes, your sponsor statement balance could have less than what you presented when your i-20 was issued. However, the balance must not be lower than the total cost of the program as stated on the i-20. You should also make sure the balance did not come so low, or else, VO will ask why the sponsor keep withdrawing but not putting in money. Best of luck!

One year is the standard.
But the more the money, the merrier

The SOA can not be less for no reason.
That's the first thing the VO checks before cash flow.

If the money is exactly the sum on your I20 , it is risky.

Come to think of it, how will your sponsor empty his account to fund you?

Ask yourself that question and think of an answer that you think can be a rebuttal.

Hello everyone, please I have a question about the statement of account. If the money in the account is twice the school fees but half of the money is being taken out and returned right before the SOA is printed, so the actual balance is still twice the fees.

I hope this doesn't come as a red flag to someone viewing the account.
