The cash flow has been a lot. Its normal for the account. I'm just worried that the returning half the money just before printing the SOA would raise some hackles.

Cash Flow.

It is very conspicuous!

The VO will spot it and ask the reason.
So you must give a valid response. .

Since the cash surpasses your fee , you are advantaged.

Am also going to ashland university. Lets connect! as my interview is on 22nd may
kingfabulous:
Good day everybody.
Please I need an urgent answer to my question.

I was denied visa on Aug 11th at the Abuja embassy because the VO was unable to verify my sevis fee payment.
NOTE: I actually gave someone in the US money to make the payment and I cant really say where the fault is from (the guy is swearing with his life that he made the payment)
Bottom line: I have decided to make the payment from Nigeria here but the closest date open for visa re-application is on the 29th and my school starts on 30th.

Please I need advice on what to do next, the only option I have is to seek for late arrival from my school. I dont really know how the process works and I pray someone here might suggest a better option.

My interview was very short:
VO: Good morning
Me: Good morning

VO: your I-20 and passport
Me: I passed it

VO: you are going to Ashland university?
Me: yes, to further my studies in Masters in business administration

VO: can i have your servis fee receipt
Me: gave her

VO: you have not made this payment, make the payment and reapply again
Me: please check very well

VO: clicks on her keyboard for some secs and passed the dreaded pink paper

Please I need help on what to do next.

Congrats bro. I don't mind if you can help me with a financial statement.
Unfortunately for me, I lost my uncle I was banking on last month that's why I have been offline.
I got a full tuition scholarship and a graduate assistantship with stipends of approximately 17 500 dollars.
The required financial statement is 27500 at BGSU.

The deficit is approximately 10000 dollars to obtain my i-20.
I am sorry if I am derailing the thread.

Only consular can tell!
Bricke:
Hello everyone, please I have a question about the statement of account. If the money in the account is twice the school fees but half of the money is being taken out and returned right before the SOA is printed, so the actual balance is still twice the fees.

I hope this doesn't come as a red flag to someone viewing the account.

US has lots of red flagged schools baba.
In fact lots of people had their Visas denied for this purpose.

It is acceptable, but I am not sure anybody here can say exactly how the embassy will see that. But you can use it.

Write your own! You are supposed to write your own, or pay someone to do it for according to your career goals, academic plans, etc.

You are the one who call them red flags. There is nothing like it. It all come down on the type of consular interviewing you. Most of you would call American National University a red flag school, but I have seen a student on this forum got a visa with its i-20. I have also seen a student with a refusal. It is not the school at all, but the consular, the student, the way interview was conducted. 5 students in a row could use a well-funded public school and perform poorly during the interview and get refusals. If you go to the US embassy in another country outside Nigeria with these so-called reg flags schools, you will get your visa. The problem is not the school!

A NGO through a government scheme plans to give some tuition fee support.

I wanna know if the support letter to take to the embassy is enough or they will be the one to mail the embassy the letter.

Same letter is what I plan to send to the school alongside other source of funding for i20.

What your take based on experience house?

Use the letter to get the i-20 first. if it is acceptable, you could proceed with that for your interview.

Non-accredited schools will be issued visa is what you mean?

I don't agree with you in this.

There are red flagged schools and Lincoln University is one of them.
