I am a petroleum engineering graduate but have no experience nor skill in petroleum industry or related industries. I know I could come up with some professional certifications like HSE (1,2and 3)occupational health and safety cert and other related certifications. Can all that add up when writing my CDR?.

And I also have no Idea about this CDR and how to go about it but I know I could make a little research on it but a few hint about it would be deeply appreciated. Will my CDR be based on my undergraduate degree and subsequent certifications I got? Lastly. What other thing do you think I would need considering my own situation.

I am currently learning how to code and other IT thingy. (Data science). Yes, you will be eligible to apply for PR provided you have a positive assessment from Engineer Australia which I believe you can with a good CDR.

However, considering invitations in the last few months, with 65 points, you will be on a long queue except you get a state or regional nomination. You can be in the queue with your qualification.

The PR process doesn't give any recognition to your class of degree as long as your certificate says you graduated. What matters with EA is writing a solid CDR. With the introduction of the new regional visa coming up in November, you may easily get a regional nomination by then. I will advice you get started with the process with English test and skills assessment. You can only be in the game to win the game.

I was sent a list of requirements and e-visa and advised to contact ABF case Officer for assessment, clearance a ND work permit. I have since sent a mail to the email provided but I am yet to hear from them after 48hrs.

pls how do I get a response from them and what do I send to them to elicit a response?

Yes, its not opening, maybe they are doing system maintenance. By the way, even if it opens, you might not be able to make payment from Nigeria depending on your bank and the card you use. If that is the case, Use Austransaction for the payment.

Your CDR is not based on certificates or certifications you have but on your engineering knowledge of your nominated occupation. You should see EA's guidelines on writing a CDR (Competency Demonstration Report).

When you are here, you can choose any path for yourself. However, for any medical or human services occupation, my advice is to enter into it because of passion and not money.

My brother, give all the states nominating the occupation a shot. Your desire is to get here, when you arrive, you worry about permanent state of residence later.

I don't know the NSW process but follow the guidelines they have on their website.

Who sent you paper application?

Which evisa was issued and by whom?

Why do you need ABF assessment after being issued a visa?

I hope you have not paid the agent any money because scam is written over all these questions. It is likely you have been scammed.

All visas can be applied for online without going through the stress of paper application. The department is discouraging paper application for better management of the visa processing. You should ask for a refund now before you are scammed more.

They are probably doing maintenance. Most organisations do maintenance on their website during the weekend.

Please for those who used NYSC experience to write CDR, what kind of backup document can EA ask for?
