Someone please come to my rescue. I've checked different threads. Please help !!!

LondonBook:
Kindly clarify this. Will it fly for 5 points if husband's occupation is on 190 list and wife's occupation is also on the same state 190 list or does it have to be on the same MLTSSL ? Verified answer is required please.

There's no reason to include the HND as it is unrelated to the occupation as an educator. You can email the assessment body the credentials before applying.

Good, I will email them first and see their response. Thanks

I believe It will fly for 190 Visa category but not for 189 because both occupation has to be on MLTSSL.

To confirm this, update your EOI for 190 with the occupation and see your total score change before submitting, if it doesn't then it's not acceptable.

Hello gurus in the house, i need advice pls, im still going through the thread but i decided to get clarifications before i proceed.

I have a B.Sc in Computer Science, I have 3 yrs experience as a contact centre rep in a bank and 1 year plus as a customer relationship officer for HNIs in a bank (4+ years total of customer relationship management in a bank)

I have checked the occupations list, no state is nominating call centre operator or call centre team lead.
1. Do i go for marketing specialist as customer service manager may seem like i manage a team which isn’t true? I need guidance biko, dnt know how to proceed.

2. Since my B.Sc is different from my experience, does it mean i cant claim points for qualification?

Thanks for your reply. When I checked with the Skillselect, my spouse occupation gave me the 5 points and could this mean this would work ?

Help with one more question. Is it possible for a person who has Certificate in a Skill Level III occupation without transcript apply for assessment with VETASSESS?

Who has gone through this before ?

Hello everyone, I'm HND Grad of leisure & tourism mgt working as a travel agent.
Can anyone help on what occupation I can fill in for assessment.

Need to be sure of all odds, before proceeding with the assessment as the assessment fee is too much, to avoid stories that touch.

Secondly, for those that has been given ITA, i.e those that has made payment for the permanent residence visa fee, abeg, how did you raise the funds. I'm confused about raising funds for the permanent residence visa fee. That money is way too much.

Thanks in advance.

Would be reading comments.

I believe you need just need to rescan in order to meet the 600dpi quality as required and you are good to go.

Usually, once you respond to those queries, your assessment should come out in a few days

I rescanned all the documents I was asked to rescan to meet 600dpi and I got a positive assessment the following day. Thanks @fatima04 and everyone.

Hello everyone. I want to share my experience with EA regarding my assessment. I applied for Assessment in Feb 2019 though not on fastrack. After two months of waiting, I got a mail from EA asking me to defend my Career episodes. I replied them with evidence on originality of my C.E but unfortunately my application was rejected. I used my undergraduate project as one of my C. E and after running originality test, I discovered some percentage of similarities between my project and some online publications while the other two C.E are ok. Base on my experience, I will advise people not to include their undergraduate project as part of their C.E. I intend to re apply since I wasn't banned for 12 months

please after filling the EOI form on the Last Page(page 12/12) i got this information
Visa type description:. Skilled - Independent (Subclass 189) (Points-Tested Stream)

Result

The EOI for this subclass will not be considered for an invitation at this time, because according to the client's claims:

The client does not have a skills assessment

The client's English language ability may be below the level needed for this visa subclass.

Should i still submit the application or i should wait till i get my English language results and add to detail. because under the English language section i picked NO, meaning i don't av any English test result with the last 36months

**please i still don't know how to go about the skill Assessment procedure so that i can update too in my eoi

You made a mistake for not rewriting your carrier episode in your own words to pass plagiarism or copyscape that's why. You supposed first run it through grammerly, copyscape or Xplagiarism checker to ensure it's unique. You would have been able to know those words that appeared similar and have all rewritten.

You know most persons do lift content directly from online during undergraduate project writing (copy and paste).

To use such for your carrier episode, you must rewrite every statement to pass plagiarism if not the carrier episode will be rejected. There is no way you will rewrite it and still get flagged.

Thank God they didn't ban you.

On the contrary, using undergraduate project isn't the issue, maybe yours is too similar to an existing online publication because a lot of people have used only undergraduate project in which their assessment came out positive.
PS: They use "turn it in" software to know the percentage of plagiarism, the maximum acceptable plagiarism is 20% and anything above that is a red flag.

please if I’m to use my undergraduate project to write my CE. How exactly am I going about it it. Like which part of the project am I using because I’m still a novice but want to learn instead of allowing people write it for me to avoid plagiarism. Don’t want to be banned in my first attempt.

Secondly, when they asked you to defend your career episodes, what exactly did you submit to prove it’s original. I’m a little lost in that thanks. Is it like your project soft copy or what? Please explain in details. Thanks. Anyone in the house can contribute to this please. Thank y’all for the good works.

Gurus in the house, does having a Masters degree count as additional points. I noticed Bachelors/Masters have the same 15 points. I am almost through with my masters, should I wait for my result before I start my assessment or I can start now. I am an Electrical Engineer so I am being assessed by Engineers Australia.
