Hello house, pls I have been notified to come for biometrics.
Do I make an appointment or I should just go?. Also, I will like to know the address where the biometrics is been administered.
Thanks.

LOL, there is no need for an appointment for Biometrics. The address and any info you may need has to be in the email or message sent to you.

Someone just said there is a new policy of booking an appointment before biometrics.
Kindly book an appointment before going.

All the best!!!

You can not apply for a study permit from within Canada for a program that will span over 6months. You have to apply from your country of residence.

Thanks bro, I have one more question please.
Since the upload allows for only one file upload, does it mean I will have to combine sponsorship letter, sponsor SOA, cac and other financial support docs together in one PDF? Same goes to client information - Waec, transcript and other docs. Thanks

q

Yes, combine those documents into one PDF and upload. I only did for the client information (letter of explanation, study plan, bachelor cert, transcript, birth cert), and I uploaded just a sponsor letter stating the amount in there and the duration.

Hi,

Application submitted: March 21
Biometrics done: March 22
Upfront Medical Updated to "passed" : May 7
Biometrics Correspondence Letter: May 13
Program: PhD Forest Sciences
Previous Degrees: Bsc (Forestry), MSc (Forestry)
School resumes: September, 2019

My application is now on 10th week.

I have not received any updates from cic after receiving my BCL. I raised a web form and I have sent a mail to Nairobi on 23rd of May, 2019 but I have not received any response from them too. Kindly suggest possible approach.

Thanks.

Although I am not a guru at these because my application is just 9weeks starting from when they confirm my biometrics. Therefore, I am not sure your application is up to 10weeks if you got the biometrics correspondence May 13. I think it should start counting from then. Please I stand to be corrected by the gurus in the house.

If I book an appointment for biometrics what is the time interval am most likely be schedule for one. Within how many days pls because I will be coming from Osogbo to Lagos to come have it done and would love to have it done on time. Or should I just take the risk and go hoping that they will answer me ?

Your question have been answered!!! Book an appointment with vfs, they will give you a date. Mind you the appointment is alien to us here so majority don’t have the answer to that.Just book an appointment already.
Best of luck!!!

Do they fund DBA? What's course did you do in your bachelor's degree?
eyoiba:
Good evening guys. Please I am applying for DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) at the University of Calgary. I only have my MBA transcript but I was told that I would also need my undergraduate degree transcript which I have not even applied for. The application deadline is June 1. Is the first degree transcript necessary for this admission? If yes, can I still go ahead and apply and later update my first degree transcript.

I'm having same issue . I can't track my PPT, I sent a mail to vsf and got a response that " Please be informed that your application is still in the embassy for processing."

@sillysassysally, any idea what's going on ?

Good morning house, please i need advice on what to do. Note;i have gotten an admission into University of Regina.
I have my first degree in Bsc Business Administration which i concluded in 2010.
University of Regina gave me admission to study Bsc International studies.
1)Please can i include in my Statement of purpose that i have a BSC in Business Administration from a university in Nigeria? Becos i believe they will want to know what i have been doing since 2005 when i finished Secondary school.
2)I did not do IELTS to secure the admission but heard am to submit a letter of English proficiency as one of the documents needed for visa. Please can someone help on how to go about it?

Please help answer these 2 questions for now because i am confused.

why bsc and not msc? I ask because considering your age which I know would be above 30 years(I guess that because you stated that you graduated 2010) the vo might not be convinced you’re going to Canada as a genuine student. I would advice you go for Msc or post graduate certificate.

You have classes starting in August and because study visa takes 3months, u want to apply for visiting. Do u want to just visit the school and come back... mind you, canada visa processing timelines these days are not to be trusted either study or visit and can't tell if u will be denied or not for either of the two... I advise you defer that admission and focus on securing a study permit visa
