Majority of the rape cases in Nigeria today had minors as the victims. The level of statutory rape and even forced rape cases in Nigeria has to be a thing to worry about and be discussed in religious places, schools and even the legislative body.
One thing I don't get is the disturbing obsession with minors.

What do you think should be done about this awkward trend?

I deal with young people and i know what they are capable of doing as it relates to this topic. This excludes delusional minds who go after babies or underaged.

Well in my opinion if two 15 year olds are caught having sex even if the hihbis 17 and the girl 15 they should both be flogged. But if a 35 year old man is caught with a 15 year old girl and he says the girl tempted him, he should be flogged till theres no skin left on his back.

Irrespective of how exposed a child is doesn't make it right. Thats why you're the adult.

Let's face facts the 15year old you said is experienced wasnt born with it, an idiot exposed the child hence the experience. That's why I said it's actually the fault of adults who spokl these kids.

Murder is another thing entirely. Murder has a reason behind it.

What if the man tried to rape her or is a serial abuser now that's self defence.

If she plotted to murder him for benefits she will be punished accordingly. IMO
