Less than 400m and after player sales, that should see us spend a net of 250 - 300m but Ed being Ed would rather splash the cash on 2 signings.

Dybala and Bale. Good commercial value. undecided

Sancho - 120m
J. Felix - 100m
Wan Biaaska - 50m
Koulibaly - 90m
Dybala - 75m
Bale - gift from Madrid grin

There’s money, let’s splash it. grin grin grin

I doubt it. I think he’s on 100k p/w. All papers are reporting an improved contract of 130k p/w.

It’s unmerited. Jones, Young, Lingard, Rashford, vs Herrera. This favoritism will take us nowhere.

What if he does?
how is he going to do it? Is very obvious we r still going to depend on our old squad.

That’s what we have all been saying. It’s not really compulsory we buy 70m players, we can do it though but we need to buy players that will fit into the plans of the manager and not just buying for buying sake. We need 5 - 6 players but this one our manager is saying we don’t need drastic changes, any player we get in will likely get lazy and complacent with these current ball boys we parade as players.

Ndidi - shouldn’t cost less than 35-45m
Rabiot - free with sign on fee
Ndombele - 45 - 50m max
Ziyech - 25m release clause
Muenier - 25-30m
Koulibaly/De ligt- 75m max
Bruno Fernandez - 50m
Neres - 35-40m
Pepe - 65-70m

Ed and OGS should just give themselves brain. Any 5 of those players I listed would improve us significantly.

These are nice items on a wishlist. Just not happening. Let's rephrase the targets valuation here.

Ndidi - shouldn’t cost less than 70-85m

Rabiot - Free with 200k per week wages over 5 years.
Ndombele - See Ndidi valuation.

Ziyech - 25m release clause is a rumor. More like a gentleman's agreement for Ajax to sell if an offer like that comes in. Nothing legally binding there and enforceable.

Meunier - 25m requested by PSG but seems interested in signing a new contract.

Koulibaly/De Ligt - 75m min going to105m max

Bruno Fernandes - 50m but will probably max out at 65m with add-ons.

Neres - 35-40m valuation fair but Ajax will only sell if they see something outrageous like De Jong's fee.

Pepe - with Bayern and Pool in contention, we'd probably come off worst in a bidding war and over pay at 80m

I dnt understand yr being weak.do u really think ole can do anything for us ? Of course nt.is like a puppet. Well we will soon find out how prepare we r when new season start.one thing am very sure of-ole won't end new season with us!

I have my reservations about OGS which is well documented on this board but we have to look at the elephant in the room at the face and tell him to fück off.

Ed is our biggest problem football wise and whatever happens in the TW rest in most part on his cluelessness. We will revisit OGS matter when the season starts and we are start playing rubbish.

Madrid finished 3rd and ended trophyless, we finished 6th and trophyless, see how serious Madrid are going about their business. We are both the biggest club in turnover and revenue but it seems Madrid are more serious about their ambition than us.

Madrid:
- Militao
- Jovic
- Hazard
- Roberyo
- Ferland Mendy (doing second medical)

Man Utd:
Daniel James angry

The joke is on us.

Martial is already collecting 200k to stroll round the pitch while Lingard is been offered 150k to dance. If 200k p/w is what it will take to sign Rabiot, then sign him up.

Ndidi won’t cost more than 35-45m max. How much did Kanté with all the hype cost? Now considering he’s African. undecided

Ndombele won’t cost more than 50m max.

Ziyech - Have we tabled an offer of 25m to Ajax and they rejected it? undecided

Meunier - Go with 30m and see if PSG will not hire a chopper to take him to Manchester. We are just not serious. We have option of Meunier and Wan Biaaska and we want to go spend 50m on a full back that offers the same end product as Young attacking wise. undecided

Koulibaly/De ligt - Depends on how we can negotiate. We can get either of them for 75m.

Bruno Fernandez - 50-55m and we get our man if we are serious about it. Adds on is just like bonuses.

Neres - Ajax will take the 40m if we can convince Neres to come to us.

Pepe - Bayern are more interested in Sanè, Pool already have Mane and Salah, we can use that to our advantage during negotiation with him since we can offer him a guaranteed starting line up.

Ed and his team should just get to work and leave all these yeye excuses.

Wait, are you Ed in disguise undecided angry

Ole has gone mad finally

Though my mind tells me that he has no choice here than to do with what he has or given. We saw this play out last summer too
if he thinks he has no choice, he can resign now and let the fans decide on the next step to follow then channel their frustration properly.

Lol. I wish I was Ed as I badly need a few million pounds to mismanage at the moment.

Ndidi is Leicester's most important player and Leicester are by no means a cash-strapped club. Leicester can slap a valuation of 70m on his head and tell you to feck off if you're not ready to play ball.

About Ziyech, do you think Ajax are unaware of the gold mine they sit on currently?

Monaco made 400m in profits when they were in same the position Ajax currently are in. Only an extremely naively run club (cough, cough United) will fail to capitalize on the advantage in their courts at the moment

it's largely dependent on the offers they receive for Ziyech. without a bidding war, they have no much leverage.

I’m not saying OLE is the messiah either. I’m just telling you to cool down your hot pants and your call for a sack.

Without OLE last season we won’t even be in a race for the top 4, we were no better than Leicester and would’ve ended the season 10th or so.

I’m also concerned that things look gloomy but you gotta give him a chance before calling for his head.

We're already made our bed. We've signed Daniel James. Offered Mata a new deal and offering Lingard a new deal while Rashford and Martial are there as well as Lukaku. There is zero chance we're in for Pepe.

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by eph12(m): 2:12pm On Jun 09, 2019
Leyqute:

So, in essence we should be getting players like Daniel James. Cheap, Young and having skills that will fit in the chosen system of play.

To me, the system of play is the most important. If we don’t have one, we’re lost.

From what I’ve seen last season, OLE prefers a 4-3-3 system with the front three interchanging positions as LWF, RWF and CF. In this system, one of the three MFs will be a sitting DM while the remaining 2 will be CMs or LM or RM based on tactics.

His second, less utilized choice is a 4-3-1-2 system with the 2 CFs interchanging positions and sometimes going wide. The guy behind them alternates between AM and CF.

Rashford and Martial have the skills to play in both systems. Lukaku can only manage in the second one. He struggles on the wing. Jones cannot play anywhere in any of the two systems.

Bottom line: bringing in players who won’t fit into OLE’s system as well as the club’s philosophy is a waste of time and money.
At this point I can't even say this is what Ole is trying to do. Is it that nobody is bidding for our players?

Are you surprised? Rojo himself came out to say he’s going on holiday grin The manager told him he’s in his plans, it doesn’t come as a surprise that he will give Smalling, Jones and Bailey chance to prove themselves.

See Crystal Palace demanding for 60m for Wan Biaaska when we can get Muenier for 25-30m. Na wa.
