Good morning guys, please how do I counter this type of reason for refusal in a subsequent applocation;

"I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in
subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status."

The applicant is young, so she did not submit any properties and got a scholarship to cover her tution. Kindly help me @frankrobbn1 and other gurus. Thanks for your help.
Hi,what school did she apply to?
Is she going for undergraduate or postgraduate studies?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by JustMellow: 4:02pm On Jun 15, 2019
Josade69:

Yes the scholarship covered everything apart from travelling expenses. The scholarship is from the school. So no bank statement and all.

In the next application, there should be a ready sponsor that will proposal to support her other expenses and flight itinerary, by writing either a letter of support or sponsorship. If possible there should be a formality of setting up a savings account in her name, depositing the required LE or less, or raise a bank draft in her name. Then submit both the PA's and Sponsor's BS. This should solve the personal asset and financial status.

Good luck!

Hi everyone
I am 23 years, is it possible for me to get an undergraduate degree visa
I already have a b.a degree but with 2.2, so I am considering the possibility of getting another undergraduate degree visa
I left secondary school 2012, is the gap not too much for the V.O to frown at since I will not be declaring my first degree in my application
Pls I await responses
Thanks

Its very possible, only if you can think outside the thinking box to give proper convincing on your study gap and other vital issues to be addressed, especially trying to tell tell the VO that you're a genuine student.

Good luck!

Qudkom:

Choice of study or poorly written study plan was most likely the reason for refusal. The travel history is simply a default refusal clause especially if your purpose of visits is been questioned and you have little or no travel history. Wait for your gcms note. And if you can't use every available hypothesis regarding purpose of visit to reapply. But then I believe you'd have to get a new admission letter in a more progressive manner. Check Post baccalaureate diploma- Business administration at Thompson Rivers University.

Hello Qudkom, been a while. Hope you good?

Thank you so much. We are working on pushing some funds into the account because there isn’t an available sponsor/co-sponsor right now. We thought his scholarship and TA position was going to cover for the lapses.
JustMellow:

From what i could recall about the info provided before about the PA's funds isn't sufficient enough for a self sponsorship. The PA should get a sponsor or cosponsor as a backbone to support PA's financial strength. Also, PA should work well on Personal assets and Financial stutus, showing good representation of relevant evidence and proper connection with the SOP. The LOE should be well drafted to tackle the refusal grounds.

Good luck on his behalf!

Yes it expires after three months
guzenaira:

Thanks,

The bolded was my problem because a lawyer wanted to collect 30k which is a little over 100box and I know I once saw on this thread that it is as low as 3k depending on bargaining power. The same reason I didn’t do it during my applications.

And again, pls does it expire?

I will weigh my options anyway.

They say no dream is to big. And your age shouldn't stop you from aiming high in life. But with the current difficulty level of obtaining a study Visa you need a convincing sop and a strong reason to why you need that bsc. Plus your documents needs to be equally convincing....

P.s: You need to account for your study gaps. That is very important. I know you'll be advised to go for a diploma program but if you have a gut feeling about the bsc. Then go for it.

OK. Well, I've read a lot of online reviews and they aren't good at all. I still wouldn't recommend them, based on those reviews.

LOL.

So, lemme explain what I wrote so you'll understand better. Even if you flew them and they treated you like a king, there are others who didn't have that treatment. From my Internet searches since 2018, I've seen more bad reviews about them than good. This has led me to conclude that I won't recommend them.

Whatever your experience, while it is valid, it's not the general consensus. I have a right to make a decision, while you also have a right to do so. If someone asks me about that airline, I'll give them all the experiences and data I have collated, thereby leaving the choice to them.

Please understand this and don't try to be insulting with your "be saying English". That is really low for you, and it doesn't look good on you.

Cheers.

Hello house, just a quick question for our very helpful gurus here: what is the minimum amount needed in one's sponsor' statement of account. Someone who claims to know says #5 million for a one year program but I personally think it's not enough. Am I wrong? Please kindly answer only if you are very sure.

*fees is about 18500 CAD
