olapluto:Yes. We need Ajibade in this game. She’s the one player that can spring those through-passes to both Oshoala and Oparanozie. I’d take off Okobi, who has been ineffective so far |

France have upped the tempo, but still its weak attacks. This match has only 1 goal max in it. |

PDPGuy:I'll take off Oshoala and bring Ajibade. |

Nnadozie has been hardly tested in this match, unlike Korea match. |

Big chance for France. Side netting. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 9:11pm On Jun 17, 2019 |
Norway 2-0. If we score, Norway top the group.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 9:14pm On Jun 17, 2019 |
Female VVD gets a free header but it goes wide. We survive. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 9:15pm On Jun 17, 2019 |
The calmness of Chikwelu.... like she's been given her own match bonus. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 9:17pm On Jun 17, 2019 |
Bigggggg miss by France. Our defence is opened up and France have a free player who tried too much to curl it to the net. We are living dangerously. 30 minutes more. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 9:19pm On Jun 17, 2019 |
We are stretched. France bring on a winger to take advantage. Squeaky bum time. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 9:20pm On Jun 17, 2019 |
France bringing on their machine gun and bazooka. Can our bulletproof defence hold on? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 9:24pm On Jun 17, 2019 |
Oh my world. How did France not score? They are knocking the gate a lot now. Opening our defence like its not even there. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 9:24pm On Jun 17, 2019 |
25 minutes is a long long time. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 9:26pm On Jun 17, 2019 |
Wish we could start wasting time... like players start falling and forming cramps. We need to ride this out. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 9:28pm On Jun 17, 2019 |
A tough shot hits Onome's 2 juggles and they bounce with outstanding resonance. Onome is good to continue. Those jugs have met more force than that. |

20 minutes. Some tired legs, wont the coach make a sub? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 9:30pm On Jun 17, 2019 |
Potential penalty for France. VAR checking. Possible red card for Nigeria here too. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 9:32pm On Jun 17, 2019 |
Penalty for me. Ref gives it. Red card for Nigeria. |

Penalty MISSSSSSSSSSSSSS |

Im really sad. Good night guys... Except we score. |

Why are female refs so biased with no remorse |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by PDPGuy: 9:57pm On Jun 17, 2019 |
Well, the ladies fought a good fight. How the Referee would consult VAR when she was like 4 feet away from the incident, beats my imagination. I’m 100% sure VAR checked whether French players encroached in the penalty box |

A braver team will beat France. Well done to the girls I wouldn't expect anything less. |

The only good news in this is if we qualify, at least now due to the cards and suspension the coach will have to play different players and use our midfield more. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Dedetwo(m): 10:14pm On Jun 17, 2019 |
I had wished the dumbass coach brought few young talented girls to this tournament. Ayinde, Okobi and even Ngozi Ebere have no place in the Falcons any longer. Even Oshoala would be hard pressed to make the team if I am the coach. Ngozi Ebere is on legged player and when she is out of alignment with her left leg, she bounces on the opponent. Good news remain Nnadozie and Okeke. Okeke is the real stuff. |

We could possibly go through with the relatively decent goal difference but even that doesn't excite me. The whole thing is pretty pointless when the refs can just award a penalty to a European team and have it retaken when missed. Seems like a farce to me. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by mostob(m): 10:31pm On Jun 17, 2019 |
kudos to the girls even though they were cheated, they hold on .My only regret was that we could have played like this against Norway but. .... And pls,if at last we qualify, make I no see oshoala for starting line-up again. ...mtchew |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by PDPGuy: 10:49pm On Jun 17, 2019 |
You know what, the longer this farce goes on, the longer I’ll begin to side with people who believe that VAR was only implemented to favor FIFA/UEFA’s favorite team |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by mostob(m): 11:14pm On Jun 17, 2019 |
let us for argument sake agree that the goalkeeper was off her line, but she didn't not make the save, she didn't touch the ball. You played the ball out yourself, so why should you be given another chance to replay the penalty. It's just like a player in an offside position if he doesn't touch the ball or interfere with play then game on, no offside |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 11:43pm On Jun 17, 2019 |
mostob:Everything about that 2nd pen is a farce. 1. The new IFAB rule says encroachment or keeper off the line should not be reviewed by VAR. It is a decision for the ref, same way VAR does not check yellow cards. 2. You rightly pointed out. Nnadozie did not influence the miskick. She was doubly punished for the French poor play. FIFA really stinks to high heavens of corruption. Damn!! Im really pissed. I dont think this team is strong enough to go on. I heard in the press conference from French Journalists that Nnadozie was crying unconsolably in the hallway and saying we were cheated. Dennerby was very angry and only answered 2 questions before throwing down the mic at the press conference. Even if we qualify, we are really broken by the way the match turned out. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by mostob(m): 12:03am On Jun 18, 2019 |
olapluto:I almost broke TV...which kain daylight robbery was that? I don't think the girls will be broken, they may actually play like a wounded lions if they qualify. |
