And by the way, why is it that its MURIC that is complaining on behalf of the Muslim students, or is he a student too? Although from the website of the school, it’s clearly indicated that it’s a Christian School, I doubt if they will force students to church. We should hear directly from the students. 1 Like |

They should leave if they are not comfortable with it, simple, Or you think a northern muslim will open a university and build a church for christians there? Lmao yeye dey smell. 6 Likes |

dominique: You are proving us wrong day by day super mod I don't support what Adeleke is doing and am even sure the man may not be aware of this, he has several muslim friends and brothers in the town that are muslims but the trash you posted here doesn't befit you as a supermoderator !! You are turning this into a war where their is not. Firstly am sure this information is false or close to it, am sure you don't know Ede is a muslim city or town, wikpedia said 90% muslim. You want to tell me that on fridays Adeleke university will not even release their students for jumat? When there are hundreds or thousands of mosque in Ede to worship and am sure we have nothing less than 15% indigenes of Ede in the uni See there is no way you say it, theee is nothing like christian extremist and their can never be any, call a spade a spade and a christian can never kill or threaten other religeons except if the person is disguising under the religeon to do evil. Mind you senator Adeleke and the late senator Ademola Adeleke are muslims. Muric is raising a war when their is none By the way I haven't seen you comment anything on fulani herdsmen saga and you didn't even raise any point on sri lanka incident lately Once again, Dominique change for good or is it that you are really showing your true colour nowadays? 5 Likes |

Afonja007:Keep shut! Thank God I did history of Education when I was in College of Education. What Nigerian Christian missionary schools are doing, they learnt it from the Christian missionary that brought Christianity to Nigeria. During that period many non-Christian kids were forced to convert to Christianity before they are enrolled to missionary schools. It was Henry Carr that stopped that rubbish, he insisted religion shouldn't be mixed with education. Most Christians and other religion adherents once learnt in Muslim Universities in Cairo, Fez, Baghadad and Cordoba. They were never forced to be Muslims, history is there for you to learn and stop spewing trash. 3 Likes |

chozzy: You fall to reason to his point that Adeleke University decieved the parents and students by their failure of letting them not to be aware that the school practice full doctrine of Christianity without allowing any other religions within the school except Christianity... That's full of deception and wickedness of crusaders in systemic way. 2 Likes |

laudate:Mr. man why did the school hide all their rules and regulations before the students applied. Didn't you read where Muric stated it. That school is controlled by religious bigots. They have trampled on their religious rite which is against Nigeria constitution. There shouldn't be compulsion in religion. 2 Likes |

Biglittlelois: So Christians don't attend Atiku's private university situated in the core north or Atiku is not a northern Muslim again? Topics like this only successfully reveal who the real intolerant people are. STOP excusing bad behaviour because it is being done by someone that align with your beliefs. If by chance Atiku is forcing the non Muslims in his school to go for Jumat and not practice their faith, I will be amongst the people that will criticize him because not only is it unfair on them, the Quran preaches against it. 3 Likes 3 Shares |

Stalwert: On their website, it is clearly stated that Adeleke University is a faith-based institution. Why didn't they make enquiries as to the kind of faith that was being practiced there? And if on admission, they students discovered they were being forced to go to church, they are free to withdraw and ask for a refund. If they are not given a refund, then they can complain to the National Universities Commission (NUC ) or head to the courts to file a case, against the university. All this noise making by Prof Ishaq will not achieve anything. Vado: Tell them, o! People just like to make stuvpid allegations. Go to Al-Hikmah University in Ilorin and tell them that because you are a Christian, you will not go to the mosque. Or during graduation, tell them in Fountain University Osogbo, Crescent University, Abeokuta or Al-Hikmah University, that you will not wear Hijab, as a female graduating student. You will not be given your certificate. 2 Likes |

Tenshades:Adeleke university is a private university, I guess that gives them a degree of right to control what happens in their university. The university has their laws and everybody is expected to follow the laws. If a student wants to freely practice his religion, he/she should go to a more liberal school. dominique: Who made you a moderator here? Seun clearly made a huge mistake, why should they state that Muslims are not allowed? That is infringing on their human right and freedom of choice, everyone has a right to the school they want to go and is expected to follow their rules, so becus it doesn't have a church name or not owned by a church means they cannot make their own rules as they see fit? Can you say all you said to AL-HIM AH university and Fountain University so that you will not be obviously biased? FYI people don't shout ISLAMIZATION when it comes to private owned universities, reason abeg. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Ijawwomaninoyo: That is a poor sense of judgement from you, at least you can see that christians are more intolerant as compared with musilms in southern Nigeria. The good news is that everybody is getting conscious of his position now and a time will come religious affiliation will be a considerable factor in everything we do and merit will be slaughtered on the altar of religious chauvinism to the disadvantage of all of us. |
