Medical request just came in guys.

App date - 6 May 2019
Biometrics request - 7 May 2019
Biometrics - 8 May 2019
Eligibility review started - 17 or 18 June (not sure cause I didn't check my profile on 17 June)
Medical request - 19 June

NB: No biometrics correspondence letter yet.

Trying to book for medicals now.

Please how many days were you given to submit your medical result. And please for those that have received message for passport request, is there usually a stated deadline to submit passport.

I've still not been able to link my application as i forgot my password and recovery questions and i got a mail last week thursday telling me i have a message in my account.

Why not contact CIC through CSE with your situation, maybe they can help or give you further information.

I've done this already and no response yet, got the BVL since may 28th, march applicant. How sure are you that a decision has bn made before dishing out BVL?

Very sure bro. A decision has been made the moment you get that BVL. My grouse is with the V.O’s or should I say CIC, why delay in sending the final decision, that’s just the annoying part.

30 days to complete the medical examination. It's the duty of the medical centre to submit. I don't think you have control over when they submit.

I have some questions to ask

Can't someone apply to Fanshawe College without going through their listed Agents?

And also what are the differences between the Postgraduate Certificate and Advanced Diploma. I read a post by Naijaforeigner where he advises that we should go for a 2 years program instead of one year program so as to get more than one-year work permit or we don't go through the hassle of providing an SOA if you are applying for another program. I am finding it hard to get any good school that offers a PGC 2 year program with a co-op option in my field Computer Science/Information Systems, what am seeing is just for Advance Diploma programs for most colleges.

Please, I need your Inputs on this.

Cc: Bracha,NiajaForeigner,JustMellow,Qudkum, kcosam, mcobex and all the other gurus in the house.

Hello Amahjosh,

A PGC/D is equivalent to a Master without much academic commitment in the area of writing final dissertation, and its usually shorter in length (normally 1yr) than a Master, which might be 2yrs or a year & half. PGC/D is a professional program. This program can be done after a Bachelor.

An Advanced Diploma is a program done after leaving secondary school without committing to do a Bachelor degree, in order to work. This program normally runs for 2yrs. It is not higher than a Bachelor.

Best of luck!

IOM is far better please. They are faster and I find them more efficient. Deane go with IOM if you can.

I'm guessing upfront medical. So first Correspondence letter is for biometric validity. Second is for Port of entry.

medical passed doesn't come with a message just a mail that your account has been updated.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Aisha77: 4:30pm On Jun 19, 2019
At this junction I can say I am sure that a decision has definitely been made once u receive BVL and if med is not updated or any med req then denial. I've quietly accepted my faith and waiting for the letter

It’s not really easy, but try to secure a supervisor before applying again. It mustn’t be Uwindso, try check U of Saskatchewan, U of Waterloo, MUN, Simon Fraser University, they offer good funding package.
But should Incase your hunt go south, you can apply for a course based masters.

@Kenny-thank you. I would check with those Schools.
Getting a Supervisor is not easy as you said.
Thank you

Dear e-family applied to University of Windsor for Fall 2019. The School is saying "searching for supervisor for you"....Anyone in this Category pls?

I got admission there for fall 2019. It’s quite strange that a decision has still not been made till now. They will give you a supervisor.

I noticed that no one has answered your question and I guess you haven't been an avid reader of this forum. Co-Op doesn't guarantee study visa approval but you'll get to work full time while studying. Imagine working 40hrs/week unlike those without Co-Op who are mandated to work for just 20hrs/week. I think another good reason is that you might be lucky and possibly gain full time employment after graduation depending on how well you play your cards.....Others can throw more light if you aren't satisfied. smiley

Fo the bolded above, any particular reason. Does it guarantee study visa approval?
