Perhaps society is wrong in the emphasis its placing on women. The emphasis should be more on the men if we truly want a better society.
I saw a thread on emphasising contraception in men rather than women and it made a lot of sense. A man can impregnate 10 women within a year, but a woman no matter how much she sleeps around can only be pregnant at most twice a year. For the greater good of society, it's high time to shine the torch on your fellow men.
Secondly, the most sexually liberal societies I know have lower STD rates and better reproductive health than we the 'moralists'. One night stands mean nothing to women abroad and they still have a lower rate of STI than us here. Instead of trying to shame women and their sexuality (which obviously hasn't worked), how about doing something different?

Anyway, I will post something soon on my thoughts on morality and mention you so you can save it as food for thought.

You need to be objective. You're trying to compare the successes of men generally to women when women have just been given the opportunity to start achieving things. The men had centuries of a head start and yet you expect women to have caught up with them.

You say it's only the bad things men do women are trying to copy, not true. All they want is to be judged same way as men. If those things were truly bad, why haven't the men in power stopped them? Even in a society like US, women were just allowed to vote in 1920 or so. The first ever vote held in US was in 1789. Only CENTURIES afterwards were their women allowed to vote. Please you too reason am na. They're not doing badly at all catching up with the men.

The best way anyone should be able to do this is to build their personal library of books and literature from around the world.

So you have conservative values, which is absolutely fine. However, you tend to judge other women by those values. Some of those values exists because of sexism and I get why some will say that makes you a misogynist.

Also, because you live by certain codes doesn’t make you a good or a bad person. Where your conservative principles end is where some other woman’s will start. Imagine a much more conservative woman invalidating your values and tells you it is her’s you should live by?
