APPROVAL ALERT GUYS!!!

I was in the bathroom taking my bath and at the same time playing music with my phone, my music got interrupted and it was an email that entered. Still sponging my body I walked close to my phone to see and it was CIC “donotreply”, you have a new message(s) in your account, I didn’t even know when my sponge fell off my hands. I just picked my phone and ran out of the bathroom like that with my soapy body, my mother saw me on the way and was surprised!.. I told her mum the hour is here Canada just replied and I don’t know if it’s a refusal or approval- she shouted and joined me as I run to my room-. As I was logging into my account my hands were uncontrollably and terribly shaking, My mum kept shouting for grace as my account was loading, lo and behold it’s an approval guys.. we laughed and hugged ourselves grin. Now, Let me go back and complete my shower will be back for the full testimony.

IJE CANADA ADIRO NFE (Canada Journey is not easy!!!)
Wow finally! Congratulations.

Qudkom:

Purpose of visit might be due to applying for a program that doesn't justify the fees, poorly written study plan among other factors. Also improper documentation of applications also sometimes cause confusion. You also probably didn't have enough supporting documents to back up your claims. The traditional thing to do is order a gcms note.

P.s: I'm starting to notice gcms notes are just copy and paste this days.
For family ties, I should have stated my siblings are all in Nigeria and probably what they are doing now... I applied for a degree in economics, second degree.. I'm to start from year two. My dad's SOA is pretty good.. well, it's all good.

Morning guys, I’m so sad right now. I received my BVL this morning and I know what it means already. My school resumes by Sept this year. I don’t know whether to defer my admission or reapply for my visa. Please someone should advise.

Documents submitted for my Initial application:

All CIC forms
Admission letter
First semester school fees receipt (8200CAD)
SOP (Wrote this myself)
Letter or recommendation from employer
Study leave approval letter
School transcript
My CV
Passport data page
Birth certificate
Personal account (1.7m) (I didn’t add my salary account)
1st Sponsor’s letter (My sponsor is my Uncle, not my surname)
Sponsors CAC document
Sponsors data page
Sponsors SOA (15m balance)
2nd Sponsor’s letter (My sponsor is my family friend, not my surname)
Sponsors CAC document
Sponsors data page
Sponsors SOA (4m balance)
Parent’s landed document and survey plan (Lagos and Oyo state)

My undergraduate course was Urban and regional planning, finished serving in 2017, got a job immediately in a Top real estate company in Lagos as their Urban Planner.

My proposed course of study is Urban and regional planning GIS (Diploma 2 years) at MOHAWK COLLEGE because they are the only one offering the course. And because I intend to further my knowledge in that area or land development, I had to look for the school offering the course.

Now with this document. Is there anything left behind? What didn’t i do right. Please I need suggestions guys. Right now I’m devastated

Please help... All gurus in the house should pls comment on this post

Thank you

Well, I am not a guru, but if going by this tread, that BVL is not a good sign. Nevertheless, I don't want you to loose hope, this could be the changing point of such assumptions. Now is the time to intensify in your prayers and if you like go to Church and start praying, God can make an exception.
Haven't said all of that, since you asked what you did right or wrong, first I think you should have sent that SOP to someone to help vet it.
2ndly, Uncle as sponsor isn't really a tight one though people still get approval with it.
3rdly, 1.7m in your personal acct seems low this days as I had 1.8m and was refused base on financial status. Mind you I don't pray such for you. Rather I pray your app should come out positive IJN.
Lastly, those properties in different states you mentioned should have been in your name because they may say "Personal assets "
That's my view, not God's decision. My mind is telling me that you will be special.

Thank you brother, Yes there's a study gap, I finished 2016, enrolled for masters 2017 in public and international affairs till date, my first degree is B.SC Agric which isn't in line with my masters so I didn't mention that, I have a registered CAC of 2 years, the 4M is in assets in my name not personal cash, I would have to get loan to take care of my personal account, I'm supposed to submit my application by August, also I'm married do I also need to fund my spouse account to show I have made arrangement for her ? Please I need help with my SOP

Thank God you mention all these now. And you are lucky that you still have time(August).
Now you have a few work to do because going by experience, you need very good funds in your account as a married man. The VO will be looking out for the money to take care of your family while you are gone(Dependant). Therefore, you don't need to fund her own account, let the money be in your own account. But the good part is that your mariage will serve as a good home tie. (Make sure you add all marriage proof + pictures. If you have a child even better. If she is pregnant too is good(attach proof) so you can mention it in you LOE that she is pregnant and will give birth so so and so period and you can't wait to come back to meet you new born. Lol it's funny oh, but it's an idea I thought of so that one can have a good home tie.

If someone has been blacklisted for a loan here in Nigeria, will canada background check see that. Will they even go to that, what do they check during background verifications.

Criminality and Security are part of background check.

Background check is done by processing application where your education and experience credentials are from - this task verifies your claims and authenticity of documents.

Security check is done by Canadian intelligence and security agencies, with or without cooperation of proper authorities in countries you lived/stayed in, and it is done completely independently from IRCC - IRCC only gets result, which will be positive or negative, without any explanation (as it is classified). This task looks deep into your life(LinkedIn Facebook), activities and associations to find out if you are/were involved or are/were associated in any way with anyone who is/was involved in espionage, terrorism, organized crime, radical movements, crimes against humanity, war crimes, etc..

Criminal check looks into your police certificates and verifies with relevant countries to see if you have a criminal record that may make you inadmissible to Canada.

I am always humble at thy service, and gurus of this thread have also been helpful. With regards to the college, all I know is that it's located in the Altantic province of Canada, very cold and less densely populated. What program and level of education do you intend pursuing over there? That would assist me in advising you appropriately.
