CharlesRay1990:Hello CharlesRay1990, Sorry to hear about your situation. Did you apply through an agent? Clearly, this shows IRCC do conduct further verification process even after PPR or in the process of meeting eligibility requirements when PPR was sent, further verification conducted was still in process. Who was your sponsor? What you have to do is approach the bank that issued the bank statement to issue an authenticated letter stating the genuineness of the BS which a copy would be sent directly from the banks cooperate email with an attached reprinted BS if possible while a copy of the letter will be given to you to respond to the procedural faireness letter. If your application was processed by an agent, attached a written explanation letter to this effect of the agent's activities the BS. If the bank have an account ticket ID and password available to their clients, request for it and send along the letter from the bank. To be fair, when sent a procedural fairness letter, it takes grace to overturn it, but I do hope your case is different. If also possible, print out a 1yr BS and indicate the reflection of 6 months in it, which you applied with, attach it to your written letter. I wish you the best of luck! |

waynee2baba:Boss, forget about the 3 weeks processing time. The processing time will take minimum of 5 weeks. Passport request, submission and return will take at least another 1 week. For both online and paper applications in London, UK, you will not submit your passport. Make sure you apply on time. |

Hello house, I have a little issue here; How do I resolve the issue of employment? I started working with my uncle who’s my sponsor around March, but then I have to show Statement of Account and pay slip in my new application. But he hasn’t paid money stating salary payment. What can I do? Can I change the date of employment to like a May? So he can pay in some money in my account, showing salary payment? Pls advice |

Hello guys, I'm in a state of dismay. My application got Refused and My school resumes by Sept this year. Documents submitted: All CIC forms Admission letter SOP School transcript Passport data page Sponsor’s letter (My sponsor is my Dad, 7m bal) Sponsors CAC document Sponsors letter of sponsorship Parent’s landed document and survey plan (Lagos) Reason for Refusal: Pursuant to paragraph 220(a) of the IRPA, I am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to pay the tuition fees for the course or program of studies that you intend to pursue. Pursuant to paragraph 220(b) of the IRPA, I am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to maintain yourself and any family members who are accompanying you during your proposed period of study. Pursuant to paragraph 220(c) of the IRPA, I am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to pay the cost of transporting yourself and any family members who are accompanying you to and from Canada My undergraduate course was Information Technology (studied in Ghana) and I'm currently serving. My proposed course of study is Project Management (Post Degree Diploma) at UNIVERSITY OF WINNIPEG I was introduced to the forum after my application and since then I've been scared of a refusal, well here is it. Is there anything left behind? What didn’t I do right? Please, I need suggestions guys. All gurus I honestly crave your indulgence. should I reapply by tackling the above reasons or I request for a GCMS note while I defer my admission? Thank you |

JustMellow:I used an agent for my application. I didn’t give him any bank statement, infact he didn’t even request for it. He only asked me to get my personal documents and leave the rest of the work for him. I don’t know what to do.. Should I tell CIC I wasn’t the one? |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by mcobex: 1:55pm On Jun 25, 2019 |
CharlesRay1990:Sorry there's nothing you can robin this case, just be expecting whatever action CIC takes(most probably 5 year ban ). Sad but that's how it is |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by mcobex: 2:03pm On Jun 25, 2019 |
prospy01:Sorry for the delay. First and foremost, I will advise you order your gcms note and defer your admission. Secondly, I feel there's no clear relationship between your bachelor's degree and intended PGD(except if have a very good and convincing reason for it). Try to get a master's admission in related field but if you can't then go for PGD course that's related to your Bsc then try to explain why you are going for PGD and not master's (there are so many reasons for that, shouldn't have to be because of low bsc grades ). NB: while trying to fix all these , make sure you order for your gcms note as you won't regret doing it. |

Please kindly check his reasons for visa refusal.. Or better still just advice him to order his gcms note. Let's stop discouraging people and pushing them too far.. Moreover all reasons was based on his finance. Lets be careful when giving advises biko.. mcobex: |

[quote author=mcobex post=79657174]Sorry there's nothing you can robin this case, just be expecting whatever action CIC takes(most probably 5 year ban ). Sad but that's how it is [/quote This is really sad..I just feel you should explain everything to them and then whatever decision they take, you just have to live with it. I initially wanted to use an agent who told me that he would borrow someone’s Statement of account as a sponsor. I opened my mouth in disbelief. That made me do away with him. That’s fraud and you should get his ass arrested. He just put you in a really big mess. Remember that ignorance is not an excuse. It’s your application and you’re equally liable should anything go wrong. |

| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Oloshi83: 3:54pm On Jun 25, 2019 |
mcobex:There’s a strong correlation between his undergrad (IT) and the course he is applying for. He just needs to articulate it in his SOP. IT Project Management is a big thing - the question is whether or not he explained how that would help him when he returns to Nigeria or what he plans to do on his return. I packaged my cousin’s application (I’m his sponsor) same undergrad course, same course at Winnipeg and he just got his passport request. Also, as someone else said here, all the reasons for denial point to finance. Let’s not be quick to jump to conclusions. |

| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by mcobex: 4:25pm On Jun 25, 2019 |
Oloshi83:I get where you are coming from. Project management is very very broad and he needs to explain that to the vo and how it relates to IT(most vos don't really know these things and when talking to them you have to break it down like you are talking to a novice). Also, I suggested while he is waiting for his gcms note he should work on how to convince the vo(in his sop) or go with the other options. His gcms note will give us more info about his refusal, but before then let him work on his SOP and other aspect of his app. NB: About what the other guy said, we all know that message is just a generic one. Only the gcms note will say what the reason for denial is. Let's wait for it |
