The winner of the Belgian league is not determined by only the regular season, the playoffs determines who finally wins the Belgian league komekn: |

Humility017:When did Rohr say "we don't have striker good enough" to the media? |

Humility017:you don't have a point, if a player doesn't have it there's nothing anybody can do, Iwobi worked with wenger for about 3yrs we no see the qualities you are talking about, do you know in a normal non-tournament year, the total number of matches an African team will play may not even be up to 5? so what improvement do you want the coach to give? if your club no fit help you no be for national team you go get am, once there's somebody that can do it better than you you go shift go one side, you can check Bryan Idowu, Iheanacho, Ogude etc as examples |

komekn:Osimhen scored 12 league goals. And 7 league playoff goals. His other one goal came in a cup game. Your ESPN source is wrong. And Osimhen had 4 match winners to finish among the best decisive players in the Belgian league. Also he finished top 4 in terms of goal ratio with respect to how much % of his team's goals he was directly responsible for. Next time you wanna stylishly down play.... Look at all the angles Southie... ![]()

darkelf:Spot on. I said similar thing last year when I noticed a sort of pattern in the Europeans approach to raising formidable team that can go on to dominate for 5 years at the international level. Anytime you see these European national teams miss out in any major competition, I tell you, they are cooking something up. Their team is undergoing a sort of rebuilding process. Look @ the French, Italians, Dutch, they've all followed similar pattern. Presently, Netherlands and Italy are pulling all strings together and I won't be surprised if come 2022 one of them stroll to the World Cup Finals. They both missed out at the previous edition but have been improving since then. They are mixing youthfulness with experience. Retiring the previous generation of super stars like Robben, Persie, Kuyt, Pirlo, Machisio, etc. The French did it with Ribery, Benzema, Valbuena, Nasri, after crashing out at the early stage in two successive world cups and guess what? They lifted the trophy. We've missed out of 2 consecutive AFCONs I was expecting us to have raised a formidable team in our 4years of absence but what will have today is an eyesore... A team who has been together for 3 years under 1manager and still can't play a purposeful football is of no use. it's either something is wrong with the players or the coach. I don't know when will get it right. |

Joebie:Unfortunately this is where Rohr fails the most. The man gets his tactics wrong. With wrong tactics even the best team will falter. Conversely with a good tactical set up even the worse team can post good results. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp |

I think Rohr is progressing a bit...he should be allowed to stay for two years more...I say this because if you watched the world cup...you would have noticed he has changed on late substitutions....In the games at AFCON,he made correct changes and at the RIGHT TIME...Not very late...though his tactical acumen is average...he should be allowed to squeeze out something more from this team...team spirit is there...organisation is there....but not yet a complete team....He should sit out his contract... When Walter Mazzari was quitting Napoli,he said.."I cannot bring out more from the players"...Rohr can still bring out something from this team |

AIG07:The team itself is not bad. I can confidently say our present AFCON squad was better than Keshi's own that won it. The problem Still remains the coach who is hell-bent on using his preferred players ( Kalu,Simon and Co) |

Right now we have two game advantage over Cameroon. 1- we will get 6 days of rest while Cameroon have 4. obviously our players would be more fresh. 2- We are playing in Alexandria again.. Our player should have become familiar with the stadium already so that should help... |

TheSuperNerd:Even if he turns to Osimhen, the harmony in the team would no longer be there. Some Ighalo apologist in the team may refuse to pass to Osimhen just to prove a point. Its not a good development either ways |

forgiveness:egbon read very well before you quote me na. I said those dribbling and beating of defenders is an asset if only the coach can teach the young man on what to do afterwards... we can get some creativity from there.... he can learn shot or pass the ball after such runs... |
