All the scars on my leg were gotten from that adventure

We can't use Oyinbo definition of their rabbit as our own rabbit. The white tip tail rodent is our rabbit. Shikena!

If you call a rat a rabbit then what do you call a rabbit? Plus Who said a real rabbit isn't found in our environment?

White tail or not that's an ordinary house rat as far as I'm concerned that's not even a grasscutter. Wouldn't eat it.
Re: Made Cooks Food With The Rat He Caught (photos) by Menance:

@op na rabbit you chop so, correct bush meat with a distinctive white tip tail.
Confirm Bini Babe, it's called "Afio'tor" in URHOBO, quite similar to Ofen'tor as being called in Bini, no doubt the Urhobo language still remains a branch of the Bini language.

This is rabbit, one way to distinguish between rabbit and rat is the tail, our local rabbit usually have a white tail. Ate enough of this that year.

Is it that most people on nairaland aren't enlightened?!. Wtf this is a RAT, a big unhygienic, city RAT! This is not a rabbit or a hare!! Use Google undecided huh
What kind of ignorance is this?!
You're correct, it is a rat known as African pouched rat. Most Nigerians erroneously call it rabbit. I guess it is so called because it is different from the usual dirty city rat as this one is normally found in the bushes and hence declared good enough for consumption. It is usually very big and has a distinct white tip tail.

lol!
Who told you that rabbits are not found in our environment?
Come to our pharmacology lab and see rabbits!
Even in the forests, you can still see them.

Meanwhile, rabbits are those with long ears that flip backwards or upwards with longer legs(than rats) that can run at the speed of light, not giant rats like many people erroneously believe.
