Bros I don land into small problem
I was trying to flash android pie on redmi note 5 pro using twrp. I backed up my data with migrate which I have been using.
I flashed the ROM but forgot to flash the back up from migrate. Halfway setting up the phone I remembered, switched the phone and boot to twrp to flash the back up.
Now the problem is if I boot to twrp it normally ask for my password. But now if I put the password it shows failed despite the password being correct. It shows unable to mount the storage �
And if I click cancel on the password page, it takes to me twrp options but if I try to install anything it shows my storage is empty.

ya phone is now encrypted i will urge u to boot up ur phone and backup all your files/datas to ur pc and wipe ur storage to decrypt ur phone or better still, flash orange fox recovery or any recovery base on pie firmware via fastboot mode or twrp app

rename the orange fox recovery to recovery

commend
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

or
fastboot boot recovery.img and flash the full recovery zip.

note: remember to download and flash dummy.img

fastboot flash antirbpass dummy.img

And do I need to copy both the dummy and recovery to c>adb folder?

seems like you edited your first post. I read that you installed orange fox via zip not flash

first download and extract the recovery image file (orange recovery.img) to a folder in ur storage.
download twrp app from playstore (phone mst be rooted) open the app and give all permission and click on twrp flash and click on select a file to flash and navigate to the folder where u extract the recovery image file, highlight and select to flash

I've flashed dummy.img months back when I was rooting my device. Do I need to flash it again.
I'm trying to flash it from adb but it stuck in "sending".

yes u most first flash the dummy.img before u flashing recovery via fastboot mode

Since ur phone isn't rooted, ur best bet is via fastboot mode

Just boot ur phone into fastboot mode and flash as shown in the pix below

guy did u boot ur device into fastboot mode? If dummy.img fail to flash and u claim to have twrp install with encrypted storage, try to decrypt the storage (though u will loose everything on ur phone)

to decrypt, once u are on the twrp recovery interface click on wipe, from the second pix click on Format Data Option and type yes to continue (plz ensure u backup all ur data and files
