I recently got my UK passport sent from the UK after a successful application.
I was born in the UK but Nigerian by descent. I would like to know if I would be required to present my Nigerian passport at Muritala Mohammed Intl Airport in Lagos, before I can board, since there's no Nigerian visa on my new UK passport.

I am currently processing another Nigerian passport after I lost the former but I still possess an older one.

Advise from those familiar with this situation would be greatly appreciated!

When they ask you for your entry Visa, show them your Nigerian passport.

Immigration is not meant to intimidate you and no law permits them to prevent you from your travel.

If they ask you "anything for the boys" tell them it is exactly this attitude that is making you to leave.

If they try to oppress you, raise your voice and watch how theyll be captured on Instagram same day.

They just need to confirm you were in the country legally (a Nigerian citizen, since you do not have a visa)

I am really not enthusiastic to leave Nigeria and I don’t know why, my belief in this great nation is still very strong.

Two family members have tried to use this abroad level to scam me, one was we have husband for you in the America, you just gotta pay certain amount for him to come down and marry you bla bla bla.

Luck you i thought they say those born in the UK after 1983 can't be citizens by birth anymore. Where you born before that time? If yes what have you been doing inside this country since, that you are just leaving? AT MMIA you will present both Nigerian and UK passports. Only the Nigerian one will be stamped

On arriving in the UK you will only need to present the UK passport using the dedicated line for UK/EU passport holders. U will see it at the UK border control at the airport.

If you fancy technology u can use the special E-gate at the UK border control at the airport. U will use your passport and enter literally on your own
