Expected salary on my return back to my place of work.
Who’s funding my schooling (Maintenance was in my account but I explained my mom has been sending me the money)

Where would you stay in School.
How much is the accommodation ( I mentioned names and amount for hostels I remembered)
Where my mom’s business is located at, annual returns, how many years has the Business been running
The lady was nice, she gave me time and said I was fast so she could type my answers..
She then said hope she was audible enough and I asked if I was audible too..She said yes and all the best in my application.
Note: I was scared before I went in but I relaxed when I saw it was a normal 15.6” (Lol) computer with the interviewer on one corner of the screen. �

First a big congratulations. I would like to know if you used the standard visa service or priority? I did my biometrics since 16th of July and used priority service but yet to hear from them. I called last week and was told decision has been made and should contact the VAC, almost 10 working days and no word from TLS.

I used standard..It even came a day earlier than the normal standard.

Thanks..Standard. Decision was made since 24th July but got a mail from Tls on 29th July for collection. I got my passport in 14 days after application.

My 2 cent is avoid putting implicating documents with your applications..If your salary is not very very fat don’t put any document that shows it..Work ID card and a letter headed study leave letter is okay to show you work in that organization.

You're very right. At the end of the day when you Qualify as a Nurse, they are only going to be looking at your Pin not what University you attended or what grade you graduated with.
I am currently doing my MSc. in Adult Nursing at University of Bedfordshire and there is nothing wrong with the university. It's up to one as a student to put in the hard work to produce good results.

@eiete I have admissions to Beds for January entry and sent you dm. It would be nice to have contacts to interact with as I make ready for it.

I didn't pay any fees. The NHS bursary was still on at the time so I had my entire fees covered by the NHS + we received monthly upkeep allowance.

You can defer your admission depending on your circumstances. just shoot them an email.

Just picked up my passport with a Tier 4 VISA today. Did my biometrics and interview on the 3rd of July.
Sheffield acknowledged on the 5th. Did another 1hr telephone interview on the 21st. Passport was ready on the 29th.
Thanks to all the contributors in the house. Plenty of pitfalls I avoided just by reading this thread inside out. I ended up knowing more than the agent i paid money to help out. Going to the University of Greenwich. Course is Cybersecurity.

Passport was ready on the 29th.
Picked up my passport with a Tier 4 VISA 2day.

You can't use your uncle as sponsor. Only your parents and yourself can sponsor. But if your uncle want to sponsor you, he can move the money into your account or your parent's account

My fiance is a PhD student in UK, her current visa will run till May 2020.
My question is
1) what is the least time on her visa for me to apply as a dependent (husband)

2) She has option of applying for post doctoral experience which is 1 year visa. When is best for me to apply as spouse.
We intend to marry end of this year

Do you know the most annoying thing? You will have to pay IHS corresponding to the total number of Years her Visa WAS granted. For example if her visa was 4 years, you will pay IHS for 4 years, even though she has less than 1 year left on the visa. Very annoying.

2. It’s important to call it correctly. It’s not Postdoctoral experience. It’s called the Doctoral Extension Scheme (DES).
You are applying as a Tier-4 Dependant - Spouse

Your future plan must be specific. Stating a short and long term plan will be better for you.

Eg : in the short my goal is to work as a software developer at IBM Nigeria, and developed my career to the position as a software manager in the same company and beyond in the long term.

Show the interviewer that you know what you want. And u have a well thought out plan.

Also, we hope to pay the deposit for school fees next week.

Please, what other things should we take note of or add to the application as we plan to do a priority application cos of time.

CAS will be requested after the 28 days period after which application and Medicals will be done.

Kindly assist with any other information required so as to prevent refusal.

My mom sent all the money to my account. I dint submit any documents since the money was in my own account. I just explained when asked who’s paying. You can’t use your uncle, you can only use your parents or yourself so tell your uncle to send the money into your account.

I think you need to request for your CAS immediately you have the maintenance deposit in your account so why wait for 28days? Moreso most of the documents you need to submit will be written in your CAS
