I now Strongly agree with you, cos I've finally change the Gearbox after taking special advice from a Colleague here and its still not raising. Now He's suspecting the Brainbox, now am tired. erico2k2 please what do I do

Well for starters go and collect you gearbox from th\t Mech cos he will sell it.
Then you need the TPS sensor, this should have been changed a long time ago even if its not faulty.Make sure u get a new one!

How do I contact U, there is Smth I need to explain to U, so that it won't be the same thing that happened when I was asked to get a Gearbox.( I still have both GearBox with Me)

Right I'm not in 9ja not based there, so it is going to be a bit hard, however, ask away on here, I'm sure we can get a heading. plus just so you know, I'm not a mechanic, however, I have been using BMWs since 2001 so I have had my fair share of troubles

Hello Fam, I just made my own purchase, a 2004 Murano last month and it's been fine till today, It refused to move uphill even though it was on drive and I was pressing the throttle down. When engaged in reverse it responded and I just packed it jeje. Please can anyone help?

What's the mileage? Run a scan.

please don't go and buy naija used murano only to come back and give bad review. Most naija used are abused beyond deriving any utility from them. Get a good tokunbo. And only service transmission with Nissan cvt oil.

I'm very sure you bought a naija used. If not, I'm sure you fed her with something other than Nissan cvt oil. Go and scan.

thanks for the tip bro. Although I'm aware of the dangers of buying a Nigerian used Murano. It's a toks I intend to buy.
The thing is everybody now thinks Murano is a bad buy & even if u get a toks & maintain the year with NS-2 CVT oil, it will still be problematic. how true is this?

not true at all. I know people who have used their murano for years without issues. Reason is they never abused the cvt. Nissan makes strong cars. Our problem is the ignorance of mechanics.if you listen to our kazeems, you will only buy 4cyl Toyota of 2003 to 2008 model.

Very correct. My murano is closer to 5 years +now.. Same engine and tyranny. Sweet NS2 at all times.

Preety old now and if you ask me I would go for it again.. Only time it's stopped while travelling long distances was the time my Camshaft sensor had hiccups. Let it cool and continued the journey. Got to base and replaced.
