Do they follow all those processes in a non sane country like Nigeria? They will first throw you in prison and even if you call your lawyer, the matter will kept on being postponed for hearing before you know it, you will be in prison for 3 years. Courts issue in Nigeria take long to get cleared.

There are innocent people who had been in prison for 3 to 5 years for offenses they didn't commit. The judiciary system is nothing to write home about.
