vickyehi: @vickyehi, Pls is BNSc in Nigeria equivalent to Canadian BScN for RN registration with Ontario or any other province? Or would they require someone to do makeup studies? How many certificate can someone claim with BNSc, RN and RPON with IQAS for PR/immigration? Thanks in anticipation. |

canadiandamsel: 1year internship should fetch you a good agency, but you have to do the following; 1. Do not let them know you have only 1year experience, play along cos CES report takes a while to be issued 2. Do not call your work experience internship (just quote the name of the hospital ) 3. Do not create the impression that you'd be leaving the job any time soon 4. Please, start looking for job elsewhere, should your hospital fail to retain you after your internship Just use your head, pray and work hard. Good luck to you 2 Likes |

BEEJAY452: 1.......Nnas would give a report of "not equivalent" or "somewhat equivalent". 2........Depends on your result from the assessment test of your skills, you may be referred to do at least a 1 year to 4years top up program. 3........for immigration, you can claim it as just a bachelors degree (1cert). |

Vickyehi, please do you know how long it can take someone who has passed both cbt and ielts to get to UK? Secondly, UK agencies, are they like US agencies, where you have to work for them for a stipulated time? IYIMAN, Barbiee...etc please you can attend to my question. Thanks |
Re: Nigerian Nurses And Midwives With The Dream Of Working Abroad Let's Meet Here. by IYIMAN: 10:27pm On Aug 05, 2019 |
Zinny18: Well, I know someone who moved within 4 months, having passed both. But he has an agent already. I think it depends on how you quickly fix other parts of the process that concerns you. I will let UK people answer. The stipulated time also varies with US agency. |

Thanks @vickyehi. More questions pls: From your experience, (1) is BNSc in Nigeria 'somewhat equivalent' or 'not equivalent'? (2) lf the skills assessment test shows one will need 1year to up program for instance, what is the way forward? (3) I read in one of your post that RM + RN was considered for you as two or more certificate how come BNSc + RN + RPON will only be bachelor degree or which one will give more point? 1.......Nnas would give a report of "not equivalent" or "somewhat equivalent". 2........Depends on your result from the assessment test of your skills, you may be referred to do at least a 1 year to 4years top up program. 3........for immigration, you can claim it as just a bachelors degree (1cert).[/quote] |

Guys please how many months to expiry can one renew a Nigerian passport? |
Re: Nigerian Nurses And Midwives With The Dream Of Working Abroad Let's Meet Here. by vickyehi: 5:45pm On Aug 06, 2019 |
BEEJAY452:1.....Bsn from naija are mostly somewhat comparable to lpn and not comparable to Rn but that assessment is somewhat irrelevant because even when Nnas says not comparable, you can still apply to the BON as they have the final say. 2.....you find a school that conducts the program and register. There is often a wait list that could be 12mths long. 3....it considered because I did the programs separately. That is school of nursing for 3 years and school of midwifery for 18mths hence I had 2 different academic transcript. |

Thanks @vickyehi. ....Can any agency sponsor one for such make-up programme ? If no, how much can it cost? And, if I run such programme, will it be considered that I meet English language requirement ie IELTS? .....Is it possible to get permanent Residency as a Nurse in Nigeria without duly registered with any BON in Canada? If possible, how? Thanks in anticipation vickyehi: |

Help please, I have done CGFNS CES Evaluation In 2013 but I didn't apply to BON so I haven't done NCLEX, however every 3years I do pay CGFNS to keep my credentials active, now I want to continue the process so I don't know where to start First question I found out that my evaluation has expired with CGFNS even though I paid them to keep my credentials what can I do , should I apply for re-evaluation or just renew applicant copy and send it to BON? Second the BON is requesting for fingerprint, I applied to send the fingerprint card but they haven't response since 3month, which way is available to get fingerprint cards, I saw it on Amazon can I buy it and use instead of waiting for the BON which is taken forever. |
Re: Nigerian Nurses And Midwives With The Dream Of Working Abroad Let's Meet Here. by vickyehi: 3:14pm On Aug 09, 2019 |
BEEJAY452: 1.......No agency sponsors you for such in canada. Depending on your status(PR or citizen) you may be able to get loans. 2........I have no idea about the cost (research it yourself) 3........No, you MUST PASS IELTS to meet the english proficiency requirements. 4......yes you cam be a PR without starting or finishing the licensing process as an RN in Canada. Visit the thread below and read from page 1 to know how. https://www.nairaland.com/5187408/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/444 1 Like |

Opdannex: Contact CGFNS by email and ask them. If you have calling card then call them and they would direct you appropriately. 1 Like 1 Share |

Re: Nigerian Nurses And Midwives With The Dream Of Working Abroad Let's Meet Here. by vickyehi: 5:44am On Aug 10, 2019 |
Opdannex: Yes you can buy the card from amazon or get BON to send it to someone you know in the states and the person would then send it to you. |

Guys, please I need your help. I want to start my spouse CES report, but she is leaving Nigeria soon. Do someone have somebody with the verification center for easy verification?? My second question is technical. My spouse is relocating soon and will be out of work for at least a year. Is it advisable to continue with US relocation because I learnt that after passing the Nclex exam, Agent will not give her contract because she is out of job. Can someone enlighten me more?? If you have any contact for verification, please help me oooo |

Good afternoon all. Please do I need A GOOD STANDING CERTIFICATE from NMCN before migrating to the U.S (California)? |
Re: Nigerian Nurses And Midwives With The Dream Of Working Abroad Let's Meet Here. by barbiee: 9:25pm On Aug 10, 2019 |
Zinny18:You can send an email to NMC to request for a new ATT, your ATT becomes invalid after 6 months and your eligibility is not based on if you used your previous ATT or not. |
