Wow that's quite a lot considering the fact that he waited for over a year before appeal date came through.
UK and unnecessary stress...
Hope there's nothing to be bothered about again since appeal has been won?
and what handwork do you suggest bro
Asides Barbing cos he said he doesn't really like that one and that was what I suggested.

When he pays £10 every week or fortnight, for a hair job...... He would understand the implications..........

Any handy work that he loves to do..... It might not make sense now...... But would much sooner than later.......

Thanks brother sincerely appreciate...
one more question please hope there's nothing to be bothered about again since appeal has been won cos we all feel like the paperwork is taking real long.

lols over 5k told him to learn Barbing And maybe own a website and cast it via SEO cos he can build websites via WordPress but he's more like he doesn't have passion for Barbing and I feel like I shouldn't bother him then.

He already won the appeal..... He has to wait his turn.... Considering their workloads and turnover periods......

His parents are tenants and cannot authorise such..... Read through the terms and conditions of tenancy agreement, then seek authorisation from landlord + property inspection report required (possibly)........

My only concern is you not directly having your own accommodation (with tenancy agreement in your details)........

hello lexus thank you so much for your reply, from what i understand only the landlord should authorise my husband and i to live together with his parents in his house right....please do you know how cumbersome the property inspection thingy can be ?? and about a letter from the landlord we will work towards that

Hence i said the landlord consent is required, and not tenants........

But I already typed my concern...... Tenancy not in sponsors details........

my husband is the sponsor and he has been living with his parent here for some time... tenancy is in his parents name although he pays the wifi and phone bills for the house. so he included a document showing that .

we have an appopintment on monday, we have just contacted the landlord. he said he is out of the uk at the moment. so my husband suggested he writes and signs the letter and send us a scanned copy(my husband feels this would be better than nothing).

One important prerequisite for this application is accomodation..........

Not independently in his name, is my concern..... Would the legally contracted tenants letter + landlords letter of authorization suffice.......

Your guess is as good as mine ........

please who has this kind of experience before.... for me to travel to germany visa free from the uk i need to have a brp that states i am a family of EU/EEA and my husband needs to travel with me.

i need to travel to germany on sunday...but its a short time to obtain a visa cos actually my husband isnt goin to germany (he hasnt got any holiday this period).

because of the time constraint my husband has decided to escort me to germany on sunday and return bk to uk (his british) the next day, so i can gain access into germany at the airport...while i return to the uk on the 6th of september

please my question here is does anyone know if it wil be a problem when i am returning back to the uk alone?? if i am asked at the airprot where my husband was i would tell them he returned to the uk already to attend to work...does anyone know if i would have a problem??

You should ask on the spousal visa thread.

Thanks. I have also asked the question on spouse visa thread. Why I do ask on this thread is bc some people in this thread passed through the spouse visa route.. This thread is active and has bin very helpful to me than the spouse thread. I hadly get much responses from spouse thread. Most people that have gotten spouse visa are not active again on the thread.

OK.
If you follow the UKVI/UKBA guides and instructions, you won't go wrong. I know it can be confusing a times but I'd say when in doubt, adopt the literal meaning of the instruction or guidance.
If what she has is what is currently in force, then she doesn't have to wait till the next tax year. I believe she has payslips so that should be included.
Have you left now? All the best.

Good morning my Ogas in the house.

Your boy don come again oo.
Abeg help me use your 'Ogbon Agba' smiley scrutinize and express your thoughts on the issues highlighted below:

1. I intend to apply for a Tier 2 visa as the main/principal/primary applicant.
Can my dependants apply at a later date after mine?

2. If Yes (which I believe it is), must their application be made before the expiration of the primary applicant's COS or can the application made after the expiration?

Though I want the best option for all, cash availability is also a challenge, hence the aforementioned questions.

NB: Employer is an A rated Sponsor.

Thanks

Would not work with payslips, submitting payslips would be tantamount to application suicide......

The prerequisites for self assessment/employed, is more stringent than the PAYE route........

Well the COS is for 3 months only, I dont know if COS can be reissued or renewed but it is best you all apply within the 3 months validity of the COS

You can all apply separately within the validity period once your sponsor ticked yes for maintenance...but outside that you would have to show proof you can sponsor your dependants

Depending on how large your dependants are, I would suggest you source for cash and do the application for them within the validity of the COS. You can put a different entry date for them...

without COS you are looking at least 4 -6 months of work and savings for you because you would need to have funds and accommodation for them to join you

I believe the payslips can be included in support of the application. This will be in addition to other documents required to prove financial standing.

Either option works. The determining factor i suppose is funds. Since you have an "A" rated sponsor, your maintenance and that of your dependants will most likely be guaranteed by your employer.

If you do choose to come first, you can approach your employer for a maintenance letter when you are ready to bring in your dependants or save up and submit together with other documents your bank statement with the required amount as evidence of proof of funds to support your dependants.

Hello sir, I think you are confusing COS for maintenance letter. Former has a minimum validity of 1 year to the best of my knowledge, while the latter is 3 months I think. Some COS even have up to 3 years validity, and yes COS can be reissued upon expiration.

Well the COS I know has a validity of 3 months and all the employer has to do was tick yes for maintenance for the main applicant and dependants (didnt state anything about an additional maintenance letter)...

Anyway in any case, the duration/validity of a COS is clearly written on the COS. I am assuming we are talking about certificate of sponsorship (COS)

Yes Certificate of Sponsorship(COS). I want to believe its profession specific, which probably explains the varying validity.

Maintenance letter can be issued by the employer and used in lieu of evidence of proof of funds to support tje dependants. I don't know if all employers do this. The letter will basically state the terms of the applicant's COS which will serve same purpose as ticking yes had it been they were all coming in together.

Ok, noted...I guess he should look at his COS to know which category he falls and also talk with the employer to know if he would be given a maintenance letter for his family or issued a new COS if needed...I hear COS cost as much as £1000 pounds for the employer
