we've signed solid players in every position that needed to be filled ans weakened a rival in the process. Tierney, Pepe, Ceballos, and Luiz are all going to be significant improvement, and based on emery's track record of signings so far (minus Denis suarez) we have already improved compared to last season

Pepe is going to make a lot more of a difference than people realize. Go through his videos - his playing style draws a lot of people away - in our case, it will be defenders away from Auba and Laca. With ceballous in our midfield we now have a midfielder with an eye for goals and the occasional long range effort which is a bonus and like I said with bellerin,a fit holding and Tierney our defense is an immovable object.
