Timeline Country applying from: Nigeria Visa Processing Office Location: Sheffield, UK Type of visa applied for: Spouse Settlement (Non-Priority) 13th May 2019 - Online Application Submitted 20th May 2019 - Biometrics Taken 30th May 2019 - Sponsor's Documents couriered to UKVI, Sheffield 15th Aug 2019 - Collection Email received from TLScontact 11:18am 9th Aug 2019 - Date Visa was Issued 15th Aug 2019 - Passport & Visa Collected at 12.34pm as i cudn't breathe.. One of the scariest moments in my life definitely.... I loveee u all... from Lexus to justwise to MamaEEE to fridpalor to Dee282 to chrysbees to kaysus to kenttoday to Veacon to Deept.... i'm grateful my special peopleeeeeeeee... Phewww.. Greetings to everyone. Please can I change to spousal visa before finishing my MSc course as I am just resuming for my 2nd semester, or I should wait till I finish my dissertation? Is there any implication for not completing my tier 4 visa course before changing my student visa to spousal visa? Thank you |

As always, many thank to everyone on this group who take the time to reply. It is always much appreciated. So I (applicant) had got all the WhatsApp chats evidence ready and just realised that I've done screen shots from my phone and not my wife's (sponsor). Can I print all relationship and communication evidence from my own phone ? Would this matter, or should I get the evidence from my wife's phone? I can tell her to print out from her own phone and send to me. Thank you |

Please has anyone traveled recently traveled with expired TB certificate? Mine expires Sept 2019 and i want to travel early October 2019.. Please will there be a problem? My girl will bring the original TB CERTIFICATE document while i will bring a scanned copy.. Any good? Has anyone traveled with expired TB certificate? |

Hello house please I want to confirm this indenfite leave to remain from the EU settlement scheme for a friend . My friend's husband in the UK applied for this new EU settlement scheme and he got this kind of biometric card and letter. Please I will like to confirm if he can use it to apply for spouse visa for the wife in Nigeria, since he now has an indenfite leave to remain in the UK under the new EU settlement scheme. I will appreciate responses please. Thank you.

Monmarri: Congrats to your friend.... Yes of course, he can go ahead and apply for her. In fact from the home office website on EU settlement scheme, he is entitled to a British citizenship after a year. And please note, there are two status on the scheme... Pre settled and settled... The settled status is the indefinite that he has. |

Lexusgs430: Thanks for your response. How is this application free? The hubby is not an EU nation, he is Nigeria but was a family member of EU under five years route. The husband was married bf to EU nation and they have divorced . So he now have this indenfite leave under the EU settlement scheme. A bit confused, is the application free or will the husband go through the normal spouse application requirements like meeting the fianance requirement, relationship, accommodation and paying the NHS and visa fees of £1500? Please clarify me |

Justblow: Thanks . But what application is he going to apply, is it the normal spouse visa that everyone does and pay huge money? The husband is not EU citizen but was married to EU citizen but divorced. So this settled status means the husband now have a permanent resident and free from immigration? What are really the benefits of the settled status and pre settled in the UK? |
