I don't know what you meant by "chaotic " doing it in Berlin. Please come and do it in Ibadan and discover the original meaning of chatioc!
grin grin grin grin grin
That place is something else. I spent a total of about 3 weeks with 4 different visits (morning-evening) before I got my passport at Ibadan.

After I applied online and made the payment, I called the Naija embassy in the Netherlands and scheduled an appointment for 3 days after the online application. I got my passport on the same day in Hague. You have to pay 100 Euros for that. But if you aren't in a haste, you can wait for 30 days or less and you don't have to pay the 100 Euros then. They're quite reliable there than in Berlin.
And guess what! The official gave me back my 100 Euros after we had a few conversations and he realized I'm a student. It was grace oh. Lol. Many students go there and they pay 100 Euros for an instant collection.

How's the Nigerian embassy in the Netherlands?.

Renewed mine about 2 weeks ago in Berlin and omg, it was chaotic there!!.

Waited the whole day.

Adhheir:

1. If you're very close to 30 say 29, stay away from public insurance bro...lol, you would be paying in the 100s monthly. The approval mail AM always requests for a 3 or 6 months travel insurance starting from or close to your travel date (has to be earlier than travel date). So you need to submit that travel insurance certificate to the embassy to get your visa.

2. When you subscribe to any of these aforementioned health insurance packages from Nigeria,
You still don't have a German insurance that covers your health yet (so you cannot tick it/yes because you only booked a spot with either insurance company in advance) the contract becomes valid when you land in Germany, so the answer is still NO.

It becomes valid when you start paying for it in Germany, as its not free; the advance travel insurance is just an incentive from this health insurance company to ease costs.

N.B not entirely activated, travel is but health isn't. If you incur an injury or have health issues in Nigeria before your travel, TK isn't gonna be responsible, lol...just painting a picture for you.

4. Submitting the certificate when you go for (at) your visa interview is the only way they won't, not because you ticked it. They need to see the certificate, so you either submit at the interview or after you've received your AM which will come with clear instructions to submit it.

For the ladies... there's no two ways about it. whether below or above 30 years, i beg you to go for public health insurance. Men can go for private but i wont advice any lady to go for private.

Good morning Great Minds,
Please, I really need clarification on 2 spot;
1). How much does it cost to send documents to Germany?
2). How can I know i have been given scholarship (tuition free) by my prospective school?

Thanks.

It’s normal. You may still have to wait for longer ( normally between 3-5 days). And in extreme cases 2 weeks. It all depends on your loacal bank here in naija, dem no get problem. It’ll reflect once they are through witj confirmation and verification.

when you mean “my account”, do you mean your domiciliary account? If yes, it’s normal as it takes about 2-4 working days to reflect

1) depends on the courier you are using. DHL is around 18-26k(very realiable), FEDEX is around 14-17k(realiable too), TNT, Aramex are like 10-13k and has good reviews, Nipost has cheap options (as low as 2k) but at senders risk
2.)all public Universities in Germany except schools in Baden-Württemberg(who charge as low as 1500euro per semester) offers free tuition
Go through daad.de and search for schools, ensure you use the advanced search option and choose 0 tuition

That's great!.

Me and my family wouldn't have minded waiting 30 days lol, as long as they are reliable. The embassy in Berlin didn't have booklets for 32 pages passport so everyone that day were forced to pay for the the 64 pages passport lol. People who previously paid for 32 pages had to quickly pay for the 64 pages passport.

And they are always booked out on their website, truth is, if you know someone there, you will automatically get an appointment lipsrsealed cheesy.

After visiting that embassy and waiting the whole day, whatever little hope I had for Nigeria, I don't have anymore cheesy angry.

Bro I'm on same issue. I have enrolled online and planning to send my documents soon. How to get the enrollment certificate na big headache oo. And if you tell school that you can't make it on the deadline, they may cancel the admission and give the slot to another person since the program is restricted.
I’m on it too. I think it’s really just to send the documents they asked for plus the page four and upload health insurance, passport and CV. Then you will be enrolled and sent your student logon.

1. Leave street and house number vacant since you don't have accommodation yet. Put the postcode of Kiel and Kiel itself in the town section.
2. If it's not yet expired, use it.
