I have noticed a little challenge with many people. They have refused to TASK their brain.

Many have also refused to do the work required which will bring them excellence.

Many students got into the University having finished O'level with straight A's BUT failed to graduate with a FIRST CLASS or even a SECOND CLASS UPPER division.

They became complacent on Campus and were satisfied with studying just 2 or 3 days before the exam to get a B (without stress) when such a person could have obtained a PERFECT SCORE.

Their colleagues who finished with average results from O'level might cheer them on and say they studied for just 3 days and graded a B. This is a great feat in the eyes of the AVERAGE student but to the EXCELLENT student, he is UNDER - PERFORMING!

If that erstwhile EXCELLENT student continues this way, he will NEVER finish with a FIRST CLASS. The engine of his mental faculty is running INEFFICIENTLY and he will carry this inefficiency into other areas of his life (work, marriage etc).

Not everybody strives for excellence. Many are more than satisfied to be mediocre as relate things in life.

Proverbs 25 : 2

It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.

Kings reign and rule. If you want to learn to have dominion over the SYSTEMS of the world (the FINANCIAL SYSTEM is one of them), you have to dig deep. Precious metals are not found SUPERFICIALLY on the earth's surface.

Excellence or mediocrity which would you choose this day?

You competed to win 35,000 NGN?

While it is fun competing but is it worth your precious time?

I'm current participating in a contest too. The person said the prize is $250,000 (maybe the prize pool not sure) but I decided to participate.

I started with $25,000 on the 5th of August 2019 and currently have my balance at $347,139.14

Equity is hovering around $327,000

Kindly find file attached for your viewing pleasure.

Why do you show what you have in your demo account?

This is meant to be your privacy. are you showing us so that people will bring money for you to multiply for them?

It is a very easy exercise that you even do when you buy stocks.

Onegentleguy was the first to reply him on the price adjusted volume modelling and even said that the model can't be used in isolation(a limitation).

Even most of use that use FA can't use just one metric(PE) without combining it with lots of other parameters.

At least this can put the issue of his 'almighty formula' to rest knowing that we know what he knows but na money we all just dey find.

Regardless of it being a demo account and one in which the trader might need to increase his risk so as to outperform others, you should look very carefully at the parameters in summary :
Profit factor
Absolute draw down
Recovery factor
Win rate etc

Also kindly note the huge advantage of the leveraged nature of the currency market once the trader has precision.

The past winner of the stock trial did about 104% profit.

I have so far done over 1300% profit and the one month duration is not over yet.

I hope you now understand my sore distaste for an unleveraged asset class?

You guys should please stop pretending to be blind and say the truth unabashedly.

For Quants, you need much more than that o.

However, it is the simple arithmetic they compound and put as formulas for algos. grin

You guys can take your business to the appropriate thread. But before your ignorance would push you to self destruct, kindly be made aware that trade contests are common place in FX trading and it is a platform where you risk it all because you have nothing to lose.

That fellow has been on this show offs for gain for close to a decade now, what makes him think he’ll succeed is what baffles me.

Off all the top 400 billionaires on Forbes, no one made their money from trading forex. Well regulated and insured forex brokers have gone under on account of losses, yet one fellow is on Nairaland claiming pro.

He has been doing this for about a decade and still can’t boast of a steady account. He has blown the other account with a couple of bucks on it. The only one he has now is this contest account.

He is lucky that he’s in Nigeria, if it were in saner climes, I’ll report him for soliciting.

bro look at it well, thatz mt4 transaction from FOREX competition not stock.

nothing to lose for trading DEMO or completion. you urself can achieve any result u wanted on demo as u can bet the whole capital on a single trade. if u lose you create another demo or register new comp but if u win u can show it on any forum for showoff

to believe a forex trader tell the trader to link the acct with 3rd party site so that u can view the transactions

Please tell them sir, even one of the legendary investors Walter Schloss never made it past high school, and yet made tons of cash in the stock market, and even passed the knowledge on to his son Edwin.
How many professors of finance/economics have actually made it big in the stock market outside,Joel greenblatt and Damodaran, just very few.

Indepth knowledge is good in whatever field one chooses, however it is good to keep it simple when investing.

DAILY STOCK MARKET GUIDE FOR 19 AUGUST 2019

MSCI on 16 August is still absent from the market.

This is another week with very little opportunity. All the equities that seem to have low prices are still having a momentum to the down side, telling us that some equities we think are cheap are likely to become cheaper!!!
