I submitted my application in Lagos on the 6th August for Griffith College Dublin 8. My supported documents are legit and my sponsor bank account is also wealthy and I have also paid 90% of the school fees. My only concern now is, my personal bank account is low in balance, I have around 200k left there.

What advice do you have for me ?

I submitted my application on the 26th of June and have not received any update from the embassy.

Each time I tried tracking it, this is what will show. Can someone please explain this to me?

State the 1st four alphabets of the tracking ID you are using.

Greetings house.

Please those going to DBS, can you put me through or answer these questions please.

How much is the tuition fee as an undergraduate and for Postgraduate (MBA).

Is it compulsory to leave bulk money in your account while going to the embassy.

Kindly help out as it urgent please.

Hi, So long you included the necessary documents, my only advise for you is to be hopeful. it will end in praise. When I submitted mine, I had less than 100k, and it went well. in between, did Griffith send you the invitation to apply document?
Cheers!!!

For those going to Cork, the cheapest place to stay is Sheila's hostel pending the time you're able to secure an apartment. It is quite affordable and a walking distance to UCC.

For those going to cork or Dublin.

I’m sure you haven’t seen their service charge as well as reviews from people.
€800 service charge is crap imo

For those yet to apply, avoid NCI or better still do your research about schools and their policies especially in areas concerning grades, and failure rates well before applying. Also on how foreign students are treated in relation to nationals. Do your research, very important.

Hello House,

I have been going through this page and it has been very insightful. I applied for my visa on the 30th of July but my personal statement was practically empty because I had to show my salary account statement. Will this affect the status of my visa application.

A response will be highly apprieciated

For those who do not have any family living in Ireland, is it needed to specify accommodation plans in the application?

This embassy is playing with my feelings ... Please is it possible for it to come before this week ends Any idea ? Submitted on the 27th of June and it got to Abuja on the 28th

Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by alusiala: 2:15pm On Aug 19, 2019
Na was oh. But that email sounds like a standard reply. If you submitted June then it should have already been assessed by now.

Honestly I don't get why an application for study takes 7 weeks for Ireland. Are they understaffed at the Irish embassy? UK study visas can come out in 15 days, or 3 days if you're in a hurry.
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Pelumos(m): 2:25pm On Aug 19, 2019
Yes, its a generic response. I have seen someone who got this reply and had passport delivered a day later

So I called my school to ask the latest resumption time... they also mentioned that I just do a follow up with the embassy. Just thought to mention if other people who are within 5-7 weeks timeline wants to do same.
