@MrsDaniels, a sister isn’t a strong family tie. Under the visa application, sister doesn’t fall under family anymore.

Because your brother was lucky to get UK visa doesn’t mean everyone is gonna be lucky the same way.

I never said its not possible, my conclusion is base on negative impact and I clearly stated there that coz someone refused UK Canada visas doesn't mean he or she can’t get UK visa.

Please read to understand before writing.

Can you tell us where you want him to get invitation for naming, graduation, wedding when he has no one in the UK?

MrsDaniels:
Hello all...Just tot to share this for pple who has got their applications still in progress and hoping. So my cuz who did his biometrics with the son on July 3rd got the standard email of applicatn not straightforward....and today he got a call from a Nigerian number only to pick and Viola it was a white dude who introduced himself and says his calling from Home office.....Note "my cuz schooled in UK and travelled twice after that"........he had been denied USA medical/tourism visa alongside his wife lastyear as he wanted to follow her for birthing of their son. So he got refused when they asked for proof of his expired residence permit in the UK. And he said he didnt ve it an thats why they got refused. And same he was asked by the home office dude what reason did they give for denying his study visa he told them. Na so dem tell am say they wan go reassess him application. Serioysly he said he knows this is a GOD move because he had been refused twice for silly reasons having to do with a money his dad sent to his UK account and cos he didnt explain it and all. He said the both refused ones they never cald and its same info he input in dis he input in dose ones.. and now Homeoffice call for him to pls give more explanation. God really moves for his own kids. Am sure its gonna be a good one for him. Wishing everyoda applicants a goodnews and God will speak for y'all behalf.

Please which study visa are you talking about. I think you said your cousin studied in the UK.

The ECO goofed or got confused in your financial aspect pls. Ur declared income after taking away dispensable income is 130k..thats 3 times ur income is what you intended to spend being 400k... why is the ECO saying 5 times. That means he/she didn’t take time to review or what? This is a good ground for reapplication in my opinion...

obiz0819:
Warm greetings to everyone here, I have been a silent reader on this platform and I carefully observed comments and observations from this platform which I used during my UK Visa application process. However, I received my application today and unfortunately, the application was rejected (reasons attached).

Please note that:
1. My budget for the proposed trip for 5 days was N400k (flight, hostel, tours and light shopping)- I was surprised the ECO stated that I was planning to spend over 5 times of my income. Biko is 5x200k equal to 400k? smiley

Thank you.

Is the property in your name? If yes... use it.. if not in your name... how do you wanna use it?
knytred:
Please can one also included a landed property belonging to the father even though he is still very much alive , reasons being that he is old and doesn’t live in the city anymore (relocated to the home town/ village) so the applicant basically takes care and is in charge of the property ?

Good day house, I greet everyone. I'll like to ask two questions

1. What document(s) does someone need for a visiting VISA to visit a family member (cousin) in UK

2. What document(s) do I need for a poultry farm training in London. I have a degree (B.Tech) in Agricultural Extension and Rural Development. I'm into poultry birds and piggery farming already. My business is registered and I also have evidence of tax payment/clearance.

Thanks in anticipation

Best bet right now is for you to allow some time before making a fresh application.

I appreciate your feedback

Again house, please what is the logic behind the travel budget, is it that your budget must not be more than 3x your disposable income and 2x your actual income?

To properly digest the reason for refusal, I carefully looked at the letter of refusal again and I discovered that the decision was made based on paragraph V 4.2 (a) and (c) of the UK Immigration rules (see attached). When I checked, I just smiled smiley. Biko I can't leave this my good job with so much prospects ehn and travel to UK to go and suffer again.... Not me ooo cheesy

You can not state in any letter to claim ownership of whats not yours... however if your father wants to hand over rights and ownership of his property to you then a proper affidavit and transfer of ownership certificate should do.. until then the property is not in your name and is not yours ...

They dont use the actual income..Your amount after removing your monthly expenses is what is used... your budget is safe if its within 2 times your salary after deduction of monthly expenses... example if your salary is 200k.. your monthly expenses is 50k... that leaves you with an income of 150k... your budget is considered safe if within 2 times of the 150k which is 300k...

This is an example please o.. dont use budget of 300k as your yardstick to travel to the United Kingdom.. tnx

Oh ok. If I intend to make a reapplication, would it be ok to 1. Reduce my monthly expenses as stated in my previous application ( i.e from 70k to 50k) 2. Readjust my budget to be able to fall under the "safe zone"?

Give re application time... Don't rush it, allow six months... Cause if u reapply immediately and cut down your budget or readjust as u said above... It will sure show desperation...

Please I need clarity here, from this attachment, where it is asked "total amount of money you get in a year"

Is it :

1. The overall amount of money you earn in all employment plus other income?

2. Or Just the total of your other income only..

Please, help with these, as clarity is highly needed here... Many thanks.

Have you checked your spam folder? Alternatively, log in to your application page on the uk gov site, then follow the link to the tls site, your appointment should be showing there.

You guys should stop wasting money. Give them at least 4 weeks after concluded email and your passport would get to you. The timelines have changed. Some folks in the last few pages reported they got after 3 weeks..

Exercise patience.

Can anyone confirm the possibility of applying to the UK without submission of passport until the final decision is made.
Possible, you have the option to either submit your passport with your application or hold your passport till decision is made. You will be charged a fee if you choose to keep your passport till decision is made.
