Stop justifying evil
nextstep:
Please, I'm not condoning fraud, but I just want a more balanced reaction.

Man please. USA and its citizens are the overlords and originators of fraud of all kinds:

Insurance fraud: $80 billion a year across all lines of insurance.
https://www.insurancefraud.org/statistics.htm

Fraud as a result of data breaches - Equifax, Target, and a few others come to mind.

Medical Fraud: $1.24Billion
https://www.npr.org/2019/04/10/711688988/feds-charge-24-in-alleged-1-2-billion-medicare-fraud-scheme

Recent corporate frauds:
https://www.forbes.com/pictures/efik45ekdjl/our-take-on-the-10-biggest-frauds-in-recent-u-s-history-2/#69f48367775a

https://www.iii.org/fact-statistic/facts-statistics-identity-theft-and-cybercrime

USA and Europe are the source of much more fraud. However, the profits from those places far outweighs the fraud. Conversely, Nigeria is not that valuable a market for them so they can afford to lose our business.

What is the cause of this tendency to scam among Nigerians.

If I had not known great Nigerian people, in the like of sarassin or Mizmycoli, or happypagan I would have run away from anything related to Nigeria for life.

90% of all Nigerians I later got in touch with, tried to scam me one way or the other. A few successfully did. Others failed. Most were totally dishonest.

What is the cause of this. I went from Being the greatest supporter of the Nigerian culture, to a disillusioned and disenchanted observer of the country.

Poverty can't be the only reason, as most subsaharian countries are even doing worse than Nigeria.

Thank god for the few men of integrity left in that otherwise great country. I like the Nigerian culture a lot, but I fear some of the people equally much.
I
hmmmm where do i start from? right before my eyes Nigerians were not like this - Nigeria was home to Ghana,SAs, indians , Arabs etc. Nigerians were not interested in' going abroad' ; Pentecostal churches were not deliberately mischievously calling ' mystical organizations ' secret cults- a deliberate poisoning of folks' minds to win them to untruths; no hate speeches even after the civil war , life was simple until ....it is a long complex story . A careful study of the elite's political approach to serious national issues, vis a vis the pre and post civil war realities; the effect of the military rule on democracy especially the IBB years where the seed of scam was watered and nurtured to a tree- the epitome of years of misrule culminating in the June 12 criminal annulment and the subsequent death of MKO under the nose of CIA of Clinton's administration; commercialisation of religious centres to the extent of stifling them of their esoteric essence, etc a dangerous socio-cultural and religious or rather spiritual disaster mix of poverty was born. And unless a mystic at heart leads Nigeria ,then the end to the journey may not be near. Ask me what country gets billions of dollars from oil proceeds but make sure her citizens go to bed hungry with no electricity nor any social amenities while keeping the oil proceeds in foreign economies and toilets? ehn!!!

The time has come for other Nigerians Abroad to let the foreign countries know that it is not all Nigerians but the Igbos that commit most of this crimes. We all saw a viral video of a Malaysian interrogation where the police there clearly said it was the igbos bringing embarrassment to Nigeria and Africa. Let the people aboard know how to identify their names and let it be made mandatory that every Nigerian should carry an indigenous name in the country.
This embarrassment is getting too much.
Just last week this same tribe embarrassed us in Germany and made the German government write a stinker to our Fed. Govt. now this.
We could hear someone in the German video saying he was not a Nigerian but a Biafran,
Yet they are quick to insult other tribes as killers and skull miners
I tire for this people truly.
Really?? Abeg, which video or thread did that happen?

Your reasoning is very nauseating!
What the hell are you trying to justify here?
Is it the internet fraud your brothers committed or the attack on a defenceless man?

Your need to have your head examined.
u need to have ur head examined too. When you folks were deliberating supporting dead beat leaders that does nothing, next election now u will carry ur spaghetti legs and go vote Tinubu because he is a Yoruba man.

Crime will continue to increase because the country is forking bad... If u like keep living in denial.

Nigerians are the cause.

Everyone keep acting like it's okay.

Am I supporting crime? No. Someone quoted me saying their parents...

I am a realist... This country stinks to the high heavens and until a serious shake up is done from the top to the bottom, things like this ain't stopping soon. Nigerians have one of the highest risk adventure in the world... So do not think this will deter guys from going into it.

When an average Nigerian child hears his politician stole billions without repercussions, sees there is no food or jobs, leaves in a toxic environment, what do u think he would do?

You think its for people stay legit? U think everybody has the courage to stay legit? I know how hard I fought that thought many years ago while living in a den of yahoo boys...

In my solo hustle, I have delivered services numerous times to Americans before getting paid and I have never been scammed. We are talking about deals going into millions. It is because I know they have a working system and they fear and respect that system, so much that they do no want the system to rubbish them.

Can same be said in Nigeria? Be there and be living in denial.

You have no moral right to complain, none of you quoting me have moral justification to quote me especially if you do nothing while politicians rob us in this country. Some of you idiots even scammed us by bring buhari on us and u think u have the right to question my opinion. What rubbish

Bro please this excuse is not tenable for these people's crime.

Granted that the Nigerian leadership over decades have continually failed their citizens, but the fact is that these guys got visas to the U.S and refused to make the best of the opportunities that they had, rather they chose to be criminals making things hard for their country folks through negative profiling.

When Nigerians complain about lack of job opportunities, I laugh because of the way the same 'disadvantaged' youths destroy the opportunities for global employment via telecommuting because of the get rich quick syndrome.

On upwork.com alone, some citizens of other countries earn as much as $10000 or more per month while providing various services but most Nigerians working on that platform have to use VPN to hide their identity to claim nationality of other countries - this act itself of claiming who they are not is even wrong - but they do so because nobody wants to do business with Nigerians!

Because of the inherent smartness of Nigerians, we ought to have been some of the greatest beneficiary of the internet through LEGITIMATE means such as freelancing, remote call centre services, international business partnership and telecommuting but - through their illegitimate dealings - these job opportunities are being destroyed daily by the youths who complain daily about lack of job opportunities! Nothing can be more ironical.

I don't know why many of you always think in the opposite direction. Is south east the only region that are denied opportunities to earn decent living based on your reasoning? Believe me people like you and your IPOB sympathizers always like to hide under canopy of evil to counter evil. You are hiding under IPOB and Sowore the lawless individual to console yourself instead of admitting the truth and for all of us to look for holistic approach to resolve the problems from the east. How can you be using wrong approach to proffer solution like Ipob and Sowore and expect to get expected result? You are shouting that Nigeria is not good, but who are the one spoiling Nigeria home and abroad? Only 30% of good things come from that region while 70% are evil reports bothering on illegal drug dealing, fraud cases, baby factory and so on. Is this the way to proffer solution to Nigeria problem? Are other regions not share holders from the same Nigeria project? If this trend continue, I think all south easterners should be banned from travelling abroad whether for negative or positive dealing until solution is sought to present problem! So, please wake up, this thing is beyond poverty, all regions have poor people among them in large quantity, but to be candid, crime dealing is higher than any other region

People shouting Ibo are having a good day today. they have seen something to talk about. Don't forget that Crime is Crime and it has no tribe. The country the fraudsters are caught will tell you the people that will most likely be involved.
Let's not forget the List of those caught with drugs in Saudi Arabia earlier. Ibos weren't among cause it wasn't their route and Abike kept Numb.
A list of fraudsters in UK should also be put up and let's see the tribe(s) that will populate the list.

Crime has no name, tribe, ethnicity. The earlier we Shame this criminals denting our image the better for us. Getting visas to western world is getting tougher by the day as a result of the bad image we already have. PLS Youths, shun every form of internet Fraud.

Hmmm

These are the Neanderthals reaping from a farm they never planted and expecting to enjoy the proceeds thereof, making the legit 9-5 hustlers seem as though they weren't hustling right.

I'm sure it was Buhari and our politicians that sent them away from Nigeria to go to the US, a country that hasn't been bastardized by the ruling elites to go and steal instead of hustling and earning a living by legitimate means.

When Buhari said most of the youths were lazy, so many failed to understand the sense in that statement even though I might not be cool with every one of his utterances and governing style.

The average Nigerian youth's psyche has been programmed and messed up to believe that the fast lane is the only and best way, not knowing it is indeed the highway to destruction and doom.

How do you intend to help God do his work in your life, or jumping the gun of life due to peer and societal pressures/impatience to make it big. This, I tell people is akin to avoiding the mandatory NYSC where, if you are found out to have deliberately skipped service, there'd be consequences.

Life is a process which has never been a Bed of Roses. Even God never promised us a life devoid of topsy turvy, his promises are that he won't saddle us with more than we could bear, and shall surely help us overcome.

So, if you decide to circumvent the NYSC of life, you'd be found out when the time is ripe and made to get back on queue to do your service and follow the procedure. No short cuts. Just pray you get found out in good time when you are still young and healthy to re-serve, and not when you might have been beat-down walking on a stick.

Life is simple if only we could sit back, reason and refuse to be pressured. We must quit with complicating our lives.

I learned these life lessons the hard way and I have given up myself to speaking up for this and other societal ills particularly among the youths. I won't stand aloof watching Nigerian youths self-destructing without lending a voice, God forbid.

Finally, whatever you garner up by crooked means shall be decimated by the same means and you won't even have an idea how it happened. I am a living witness to this and did a book on my life to teach the youths.

We are precariously seated on a keg of gun powder with our youths, we need to start changing our orientation and value system.

On a lighter note, expect American cars to start getting more and more expensive because the dealers are being swept of the streets. Some of our NL dealers fit dey among dem sef.

Nothing beats living and earning legitimately. No matter how little.

Most people didn't understand where EFCC was getting the renewed vigor in clamping down on these boys nationwide. Now you have your answers. FBI dey their nyansh.

These boys must hear word. Their laulau noise making don dey reduce sha

Lazy thieves home and abroad.
