Please which is the fastest way of sending and receiving passport, submitting direct or sending through dhl and paying for return? Am in ph and I can't go to Lagos that way
you can call vfs and discuss the DHL option because it will cost effective and less stressful cos you don't even know when it will be returned and you can't be waiting in Lagos till whenever it's ready.

Babarinde146:
Good evening pls i need a little advice i applied in June and got denied last week based on 2 reasons.
1) family tie in my country and in canada...and i no get family for canada.
2) purpose of visit.

And i need to reapply ASAp but i need professional advice.

Hello Babarinde146,

First thing I will advise is to desist from haste, but you have your reasons and I understand that. I believe you already know by now that the purpose of visit isn't a reason one can fully guess correctly, but still, not impossible. Though, try to get your gcms notes. The problems might be coming from:

1. A poorly written SOP
2. Program type
3. Course mismatch/no correlation
4. Level of establishment in your country
5. Future benefits and plans.

Good luck!

no dear but you can google it or ask any of our gurus here. If you can't get the number, the best bet will be to go there and ask them to mail it when it's ready.

Thanks so much bro
I read on some online forums that it's possible. However, I haven't seen something like that on cic.gc.ca
Reason for asking the question here.

Hello Shammak,

Its not always about the possibility, but the productivity. Its better advised to apply from one's home country to stand a good chance and also being able to show home ties.

Good luck!

I can imagine. Maybe you can just take it there yourself if it will be faster. You may resume a bit late cos from what we see on the thread, passport request takes from days to couple of weeks to process. Let's hope yours is speedy

Thanks bro..
Please, evidence like which documents. Will she have to submit her bank statements again (my mum)

If the lump sum is being transferred from your mum's account, both details of your account and hers should be quoted in your SOP and her LOS. If its a sale of property, show proof of the sales. If she's your sponsor/co-sponsor she has, but if in the case of standing in as "support," she might not though it depends on how the storyline of your application goes.

Good luck!

No, it won't fly. Your sponsor should be looking at 10m+ and you should be looking at 3m+. In a breakdown, if you add your LE+ Tuition fees + the size of your family composition + that of your sponsor, your finance is absolutely weak but you home ties is reasonable.

Good luck!

Lol. It depends o, I think you may have a shot through scholarships, if you have good undergraduate results in your undergraduate degree.
