Reply that same mail to tell them to decline or refuse ur admission for the remaining programs so u can make a new application.. Cos without that, u cant make a new aplication.. If u don't get a positive response in days time, then u have no option but to call their admission office.. Peace
darey360:

Did that few days ago and I got a reply few hours ago

"Unfortunately, the two other program choices are full and closed for January 2020 intake.. If you wish to be considered for another open program for the January 2020 intake, you will be required to submit a new application. Please note that a new application fee will be required, as 3 program choices were selected in your application."
But now I cannot create a new application if the previous is still on

The school will depend on the course you are going for, search for schools in Canada offering your intended course and check their respective admission requirements and funding(scholarship). Google will help you with that
Thanks God bless you.

Greetings from TORONTO ONTARIO, CANADA grin.
Dear TRV Hopefuls,
Canada is really very beautiful & coordinated, and believe me it worths the whole stress and time. I can see lots of refusals and I wish to encourage you never to give up. Yes we are all human and should respond to pains and disappointments of life but the question is, How strong are we to bounce back on our feet and pursue our dreams? For the fact that your first or second trial went south doesn’t mean you should give up. Kimon!!! don’t forget that Every successful man has a bitter story, believe me.. you will one day remember and laugh at all the problems, worries and sleepless nights you are facing now and realise that it was a mere distraction to your greatness.

I made sure I responded to all PMs I received When I was in Nigeria, but I haven’t responded to the ones that sent theirs after I left. I will make sure I respond to your mails within the possible shortest timeframe.

Best Regards,
Dera.

Hello,

Please go to the school website and search for what you seek. Go to their financial or tuition page, you'll find something there.

Good luck.

I applied for a Canadian student permit since the first week in June, did my biometrics almost immediately and after about a month, I received a notification to go for a medical exam.

I immediately booked an appointment with one of the IRCC registered hospitals in Lagos - International Migration for Organization Hospital (IMOLagos) and went for my medical exam.

I received a text message from the hospital within 2 days confirming that my medical result had been sent to the IRCC.

A month after I was instructed by the IRCC to go for my medical exam, I got a message on my IRCC profile page stating that they did not receive my medical exam yet.
I immediately went to the IMO hospital to make inquiries where they showed me evidences that the had indeed sent my result to the IRCC embassy.

Because medical exams sent to the IRCC are valid for a whole year, the hospital doesn't have the option of resending the results (IRCC policy) not even the option of taking another exam.

The hospital gave the printed evidence that the results of the exam had been sent and also gave me the email address of the Lagos immigration office - [lagosimmigration@international] asking me to send the scanned copy of the evidence to that email.
I have since then (first week in August) done all that along with visiting the Visa office in Lagos but no progressive response of any sort has come out yet.
The hospital and Canadian visa office claim to have no other way of reaching the Canadian embassy except via emails so that is the only means of communication I can afford.
I need advice on what to do to resolve this as soon as possible as school is set to be in session within a couple weeks.

Hey dude, it's easy. Kindly send a webform to Nairobi then explain everything in the space for message in the webform and attach the emedical slip in the webform while submitting it. Your profile will be updated. I ll send you link to the webform shortly.

Link to webform to Nairobi office.

Many thanks for you kind words. I would love to answer some of the concerns u raised...
1. My program is for 2 years and it’s muchly an industry and field experience advanced diploma
2. I’ve worked there for 4 years and they are committed to continuous professional development of their staff and due to their new exploit in oil and gas structures they need to be equipped to face this challenge, so the need to add value to their staff.
3. The office is committed to send the money to my account if the need arises
4. I would also need to find out.... apart from land which other home ties is acceptable. N/b I don’t have a car.
5. Someone told me that using office as a sole sponsor won’t fly.How true is this information. Pls. Thanks and God bless you sir

Hello Engrrozay,

Using an office doesn't necessarily pose as a red flag or harm one's application, only if the needful isn't done like proper documentation or good show of commitment. If you adhere to my earlier post to you, I believe you won't have much issues using your office as a sole sponsor.

Good luck!

Good morning guys, I've been a silent observer and I've been going through the thread from thread one and I've learnt a LOT and I'm planning to study in Canada in 2020/2021.
I'm very much in the beginning stages and I have the following schools on my mind (Fanshawe College(Project Management), Humber College (Project Management or Information Technology Solutions (Database Development & Enterprise Development) and University of Manitoba pre-masters/masters for Computer Science (I studied Mass Communication as my UG and have applied twice and refused an F1 visa for Information Technology with some background in tech(took some courses and working part-time in an IT company but I'm a full time Manager/Customer relations Officer ) and I would appreciate if the house assists me in weighing my options and focusing on just one when it comes to getting accepted and and working towards a TRV.
I'm open to corrective criticisms and suggestions.
Thank you

how can I prove ties to home country, I finished my UG outside Nigeria , came back for my nysc and just finished nysc this year, applied for a 1yr pgc and got admission for January 2020. I am not working ( my dad is my sponsor), i am 24yrs and I don’t have any property to use, my family( parent, siblings, nephews etc) are here in Nigeria and they are all independent.

Please note I intend applying on my own and the documents I intend using are below:
1) letter of admission ( 1st semester tuition paid)
2) sop ( need help with review)
3) Dad’s soa (the account has been the account set aside for my studies in Turkey and he moved some money into it thrice after I told him about studying in Canada 14m- will explain this money movement in his sponsorship letter)
4) nysc certificate
5) Dad’s promotion letter at work place
6) Dad’s appointment letter to a higher rank after promotion
7)my soa (1m- he gave me after my nysc to start life but never had need to withdraw from it so it the statement throughout is 1m+ the 0.22naira the bank adds for no withdrawal over a long period)
cool his work Id
9) letter of reference from his work place
10)last year property evaluation certificate( amount is around 42m )
11) his sponsorship letter

Please guru I need your advice on what I should do or which document I should add or remove, and how to go about the ties to home country

u are still kinda young(from ma perspective tho)so u are nt really expected to have properties so to speak... And also its obvious u don't also have work experience since u just finished ur NYSC dis year, which means ur only hope of home ties are ur family members here in Nigeria, especially ur parents.. You really need to do ur home work to proof to the VO how very important ur parents are to you, that u cant do without them for so long which means u wont overstay ur duration in Canada.. You can add to what I just wrote here tho, dts just a brief of what u must elaborate on... Peace

What will bring you back to Nigeria? Do you have a job offer in Nigeria? Is your course of study in high demand and will it make you so attractive to companies in Nigeria upon graduation? You could work this angle whilst also talking about how closely knit your family is.

Thank you so much for replying, I was kinda skeptical if I will even get a response ( my first time posting).

I am in the ICT field and I’m going for a 1yr pgc in information security management...the course is in high demand everywhere , Nigeria and otherwise

I have paid a 1semester tuition to the school to show seriousness

Thanks so much for your response, if I include family pictures( maybe us doing fun stuffs together) will that give a strong view of my family ties...really having difficulties working that angle

(1) you studied abroad, therefore your parents are more than capable to finance your studies in Canada - show proofs.

(2) On completion of your studies in Turkey, you came back to Nigeria to do your NYSC, this shows that you are planning for your future in Nigeria and always willing to come back after studies - show proof of NYSC certificate

(3) What is short term plan? Long term plan of owning a business in Nigeria? Write it in your LOE that the courses you will take in your PGC will shape or prepare you for your long term goal. Make sure you are specific, mention 1 or 2 modules from your program and how it will help your long term goal and the job opportunities in the Nigerian market for your program. Remember to be specific.

(3) Stress how you studied in Turkey without missing classes or breaking any of the rules. Therefore you understand the responsibilities of an international student bla bla bla

(4) stress the importance of having 2 degrees from different countries and the advantage it will give you in the Nigerian economy.

(5) Show documents of properties owned by your parents

I am typing form my phone so I can’t go further. Just make sure you structure your LOE very well, proof read for errors and have someone look at the LOE for you.

You will most likely not have issues with your SOA, so focus on writing a good LOE on your part and fathers part.

I suggest you give Bracha, Makano, Mcobex, Austacus or Frank your LOE for them to have a look through. Disturb them very well grin until they have a look. Once you have all your documents ready, you can post on this forum for everyone to have a second look before submission. All the best

Yeah, but some 2, 3 years ago they do not accept pictures when going through the paper route at VFS, I dont know about now.. But if u are going through the online route, you are free to submit anything without any restriction, but make sure ur documents are not so bulky so it will be easy for u to compress to the required 4mb.. And I can see Naijaforeigner has fed u with additional relevant information.. Peace
