With pout lips, Maia rub her hands seductively on detective Jones well defined chest, slowly tracing the line of hair that disappear in the black trouser he wore...

"I was this close.. "He said circling his index finger with his trigger finger....

She exhales and step out of the bed..... "So who do you think took the file..? She deadpan reaching for the bottle of scotch on the table..

Frown lines encroached on detective Jones face making his fingers clenched.......

"He could be lying you know.. "Maia added before taking a swig of the scotch..

"He was so scared when i played the recording.., i don't think he'll jeopardize his daughter's life by lying... "

She grunted.. "But the file is missing, someone took it and he told you the only person who have the key to his office is him.., what does that explains..?

"I think Pious got to him before i did.. "

Maia scoffs.. "Pious..!.. "

"I will make sure that doctor suffers the consequences of loosing that file.. "

Francis wince when he slap himself in failed attempt to kill the mosquito..., he groaned and murmur words as if the mosquito can hear him and tell how angry he is...., he knew he needed a bath when his body began to itch him.., he hasn't taken a bath for the past two days and he felt the reeking smell he's been perceiving could be the odour from his own body.....

"Shouldn't we be talking to Levi...? Zed asked drawing closer to Francis..

Francis sniffled, the odour from Zed body was even more foul than his, the last time they had access to water.. Real water was when they escaped from Mogula palace..., the water they've seen since them were just water on water cans and bottles.., they just use them to wash their faces, and like Zed once said, who cares about what their shady knickers covered......
He reverted his gaze to Levi who was sitting alone near a fire that was merely burning on sticks...

"He look very sad to me.. "Zed added..

"He doesn't want to talk to us.. "Francis fling back over his shoulder.. "We shouldn't force him.. "

He rolled his eyes.. "Does what i think matters..?

Zed swallowed and readjust himself.. "You're turning cold by the day.. "

The loud laugh from the warriors a fews paces from them drew their attention to what they were doing..

"What are they doing..? Francis asked as the warriors play games jumping on one leg..

"They're playing the joffa.. .. "

Both boys watch, each wondering what changed his mind.. until he got to where they are...
Without a word, Levi sat in their middle pushing Zed aside in the process...

"That's not nice man.. "Zed blare

For a moment, Francis fused his gaze on him wondering what could really be wrong with him, he hasn't had a chance to ask him about Pandora..

"Am sorry.. "Levi deadpan breaking the silence.... "I shouldn't have done that to you guys.. "

"Done what exactly..? Zed queried raising an eyebrow..

"You know what i mean.. "

"Do we..? He asked Francis..

"What's wrong Levi...? Francis ask quietly...

When Levi dug his head in his hand, Francis knew right there he's been crying....but why?

"They took Pandora... "

"What happened..? Francis asked with no regards to Zed question.. "Who took her..?

"The slave hunters.., i heard they're taking the slaves they captured to the capital.. "

"They'll probably sell them on the day of the tournament... "Zed interjects..

Francis sigh, he thought slave hunting has been long abolished, it's surprising it's still practice in this part of the world...

"Is that why you're running errands for that warrior, to hide from the slave hunters until you get to the capital... "

Shabbily, he nodded..

Francis understood why Levi was so angry.., that was exactly how he felt and still feeling when he couldn't save Katherine from king Jafar....

"So you've been acting weird because of a girl.. "Zed snarled

Katherine felt like her heart had been ripped out, suddenly there was an aura of grey around her. It was a mist that wouldn't rise. A state of depression that she couldn't see herself through. She felt a terrible weight on her shoulders. It was as if a giant boulder was laid on her and she couldn't straighten up or catch her breath entirely.
A single tear rolled down her cheek. She should have been crying, but she was too numb to even think about crying, there was a giant hole in her heart and she knew nothing would ever be the same.
She looked like death and she didn't care, her eyes were puffy from crying because she couldn't stop crying since her world turned upside down. She was dehydrated, and sore. Sobs raked her body, no one should be able to cry that hard..
Life wasn't fair, her father promised her he'll protect her forever, but where is he when she needed his help the most....

"Princess... "Her maid Marova said jolting her from her thoughts... "Your bath is ready"

Katherine dried the tears from her eyes and turn to face her..... "Thank you.. "She mutter and stood up from the bed..., heart filled with grief, she began to remove the bangles from her hand, just when she was about removing her dress, a loud knock sounded on the door....

Her heart pounded and she quickly spun round to face the door, just then she remenbered the door wasn't locked, she didn't remenber to lock it after Lakuyada walked out.., she stopped her maid when she made an attempt to trot towards the door....

She waited for the knock again, when it didn't come, she took a step, she never knew that was a step to another horror of her life..

Anger wrecked her spines when the door creaked open..., her fingers balled into a fist ready to strike the face of the person she hated the most...
"What are you doing here..? She retorted without flinch..

A taunting smile surrounded king Jafars lips, deeply intoxicated, he staggered towards her and grab her waist..

"Let me go... "Katherine scream trying to free herself from his grip, though he reeks of alcohol, he was still strong..

"I will have you tonight, no matter what.. "He yelled and push her on the bed...

Katherine wince when her back landed with a thud on the bed..

Furiously, like an hungry beast, he pounce on her, pulling up her gown...

Scared Marova stood there, she couldn't do anything, though it pains her to see the princess like that, but there was nothing she could do, king Jafar was a king who wouldn't mind taking off her head if she tries to stop him.....

Katherine groan and screams as king Jafar force himself on him.., she tried pushing him off but his hands was too powerful, too powerful for her stop

"You make me go crazy.. "He whisper licking her ears.....

Filled with rage, she fought him off enough for her to straighten herself so her hand can reach for the firelamp above her but to her utter disappointment it didn't and it angered her..
She started screaming when he torn off her dress making her bare.., na*ked....

She breathe heavily when he furiously thrust his finger inside her.., he thrust in hard, rough....

Her eyes scan round for anything she could use to stop him, luckily for her, she saw a rod with a pricky sharp end that was used to put the holes in the botton part of her gown..., she had promised herself she won't let anyman touch her again and she intend keeping that promise...

Her eyes flashed with anger when he tripled his fingers and increase the speed..., she was bleeding and the demon wasn't stopping.., deeply infuriated, she reached for the rod and pushed the sharp pointed edge into his neck....

King Jafar latched out with a loud scream and fell down from her body, he pull out the rod, so came blood flowing out profusely..

But Katherine wasn't done.., she took the rod and hit his head sending him to the floor....
Her tears ran uncheck from her eyes, dropping on her clothes and the floor, everything he did to her came flooding her head and it angered her more, she ignore her maid screams and plea to stop.., her anger and pain controled her and she did the worst..., she continue hitting his head not minding the way blood was splashing from his head..., she didn't care he was dead, she needed to pour all her days of lament and the heap of vengeance on his now lifeless body.....

Tears running profusely from her cheeks, she latched out with a big scream..., it didn't take long before the room was crowded with the palace guards...

Sonia tried to close her eyes but she knew it won't be possible, not when she was with someone she doesn't know.., Kess trusted the girl he brought her to stay with and she fear her present might complicate things.., Kess assured her the girl doesn't know her, he'd lied to her she was his girlfried who needed a place to crash rather than her boyfriends place.., the story doesn't make any sense but the girl sure look like who believed it...

"So how long have you know Kess....? She asked trying to strike a conversation, more importantly removing her mind from the horrific moments of her life.....

"We've known each other for long.., Kess saved my life when armed men tried to rob me, he fought them off singlehandedly..."

Sonia eyes narrowed...

"Why did you fight with him..?

Sonia grunted, the girl had asked that question for the hundredth time.. "You know relationship has it's ups and down..

"Whatever the case.. "She cut in.. "You guys should resolve it soonest.. "

She smile.... "Did he tell you i caught him with another girl..?

The shock in the girl's face made her statement very truthful.., she can't believe she just said that.., she understand why Kess would lie to her, who will want to harbour a wanted murderer.., she doesn't plan on staying long, two days is okay, after that she will be heading back to the city..

"Another girl in his room..?

Shabbily, she nodded.., she can't even think about it becoming a reality, she had grown fond of Kess and she has come to believe her feelings read more meaning than she was letting on, maybe she is falling in love again...

"Oh God.. "She mutter.... "That's why you're so angry.., how could he do that, he didn't tell me cos he knew i will scold him.., that's so unlike him.. "

"Oh please, they claim they're cousins when they're caught red handed...

Sonia suck her teeth, she never knew she was even more gullible than she thought....
She took a deep breathe and was about speaking out when a knock came from the door..

Fear shrieked, she face the door wondering who might be knocking...

"Clara.. "A guy's voice came from outside..

"It's my boyfriend.. "The girl said standing up..

"Don't open the door... "Sonia whisper glancing at the time, it was late in the night..

"Are you kidding me..?

"Your boyfriend left not quite long, how could he be back so soon.. "

"Clara.. "He called out again from outside..

"Look, don't be scared, i will just go outside and talk to him.. "

Sonia have a bad feeling, people don't just come back after walking out, as much as she wanted to believe it was just her boyfriend outside, she can't, but she had no control over her, its her house, her rule, her decision....
Engulfed with fear, she watch her trot towards the door..

"What did you forget this time Justin.. "She said with a smile and unlock the door....

The door pushed open the moment she unbolt the lock to see his face...

Her heart hammered against her chest when she realise it wasn't just her boyfriend but three other guys with guns....

Sonia quickly jump out from the bed.., her thoughts were they could be robbers but when she saw one of them, she quickly realise who they were.....
"You.... "She muttered..

"Hello baby.. "Ted replied pushing Justin on the floor next to his girlfriend...

"Please, don't kill us.. "The girl cried out..

"I know you're here for me, don't harm them... "Sonia deadpan

"You're the bitch who killed my father... "Dillan snarled removing the jacket hood from his face...

"Your father was a monster who destroyed my........

She didn't finish her statement before Dillan stab her on the throat.......

Bleeding profusely, Sonia collaspe to the floor..., she fought for breathe but it was useless, she was fading, she struggled to hold Dillans legs before she finally gave up the ghost.....

Justin and her girlfriend hold their mouth to stifle any scream.....

"Take care of the witnesses.. "Souless Dillan ordered and stepped outside, what followed were two sounds of bullet.......







Will Katherine actions be the end of her...?

Will Kess finally lose it, act and damn the consequences...?

Who will be the last man standing in these ruthless game with no rules...?

To me, i think it's just his way of taking her from the story, she finish her role when she killed Carlos, silver finds every way of removing characters that aren't playing important roles and bringing in new ones, i won't be surprise if he kills Claude.., it's been long he talked about her.
