Hi ALL. I got in today through Birmingham. Transitted in Doha. I could have sworn I was the only black guy on that flight. The line was so long before it got to my turn. Handed in my passport and letter from Embassy only.
Questions asked:
Why are you here
Have you been to the UK before : No
Have you been refused before: Yes
Why?: I explained my previous refusal.

Officer asks me to wait, he wants to run some checks. I didn't see this happen to anyone else. There were a lot of students, mostly Chinese.
I really wasn't bothered cos I know I did everything right but there was still a bit of anxiety.
About 5mins later he returns, hands me my passport and says welcome to the UK. I didnt do any of the biometrics I saw others do. Perhaps cos I have the new Nigerian passport.

It would be insult to you because people like you want to be spoonfed on this thread.

Biometrics: 7 August
Passport collection mail: 4 September
Visa was issued for PBS dependant
