Pocohontasboo: I salute you for your preservation. I wrote jamb 7times and within the time i was sitting for jamb, I was studying chemistry in unibadan and when I graduated, I didn't go for nysc. I sat for jamb again and I had 311 and 74% yet unilorin didn't give me MBBS but was given anatomy. I took it because I was told if I'm among first ten, I will be moved to MBBS and thank God, I was able to make it. Don't relent and if you pick school like unilorin, if you were given anatomy or physiology, take it and work hard to be among the first ten. 18 Likes |

dunsin125: It has contents but See it as nothing more than a tool to aid your preparation as the concept of the exam changes every year. |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by bleckcorp: 7:31pm On Sep 12, 2019 |
Whitetalker: It's mainly because they are only ones still selling direct entry forms... |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by Whitetalker: 7:38pm On Sep 12, 2019 |
bleckcorp:Ok. Well, first of all, I know you are aware that if you opt-in for any of the schools, you do not have catchment advantage. So I'll advise you opt-in for one that conducts direct entry exam so you can prepare well for the exam in order to boost your chances. Secondly, you can go through the MDCN website to check the accreditation status of the medical schools of the universities you mentioned. Once it's accredited, you have no worries. All things being equal. Good luck. |

I Pocohontasboo: I got Mbbs into the first and the best Unibadan after my 7th attempt. Although, I was studying a 5 years course while wasting money and time on jamb. I think you need to sit and restrategize. Pick a school that you can beat her system. All through My attempts, I am always 2 marks, 3 marks or 4 marks below cutoff. That propel me to keep trying. I wonder why people pick Unilag, unilorin for Mbbs. I wouldn't have gotten Mbbs with their nonsense form of exams and admissions, I studied myself and I see I can't beat their system (current affairs, English, mathematics in putme) . Sadly, people blindly pick any school for Mbbs, and they got rejected forever. 4 Likes 1 Share |

I specifically don't know how DE exams will be but from the memo released 27th of August. Each faculty is expected to submit 100 questions and answers for subject combo in their faculty and another 150 questions and answers in Maths and English. So MBBS aspirants should be expecting 'Maths, Eng, Phy, Chem, Bio' all in CBT format. Acecube:

Pocohontasboo: If I were u I will avoid Delsu. That school post ume is more of ur smartness and wild exposure .Sitting for that post ume with ur phys chem bio may not be favourable.. If u know u aren't that roundly exposed, I ll advise u pick a school where post ume is strictly science subject.. E.g South south federal schools like Uniport, unical, uniuyo and co...shallom |
