This is exactly the problem we have as Nigerians.I know few people I have helped draft letter and sop. For Godsakes Indians thrive and do well in Canada because they will always be there for each other, work as a group and move as a group and succeed as a group.
All these SOP writers last last go write rubbish for you as they don't know you and your situations wells to pen it down. I advice we read ,research and write our things. Las las Canada na write write write dey for school there.I rest my case!

Gbam. You have said it all

Blema111:
When it comes to visa application, our subconscious tells us we can’t do it ourselves to avoid fatal mistakes when applying.

I also sought for assistance when applying and was told a ridiculous fee. I asked myself, am I not a graduate? Everyone have the innate ability to write. I wrote it and used grammerly premium, then gave it to three people not on this platform- someone who studied my course, someone who studied a course very different from mine and a neutral person to make sense of it and got the feedback I wanted.

I won’t castigate those attaching fees to it because it takes work to write a good sop. It’s not easy to write one. Instead of castigating them, simply write one yourself and give friends or enemies to read. Everything in life isn’t free abeg.

If you can afford, good. If you can’t, equally good.

Good day guys.

My sponsor sent me the scanned copy of her bank reference letter. Can I print it in coloured and attach to the SOA?? Or must I get her hard copy.

Thanks

Good day I was denied a Canada study visa based on this reason
I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.

Please how can I respond to this situation if I want to reapply

Hello gurus in the house. I have ND in Mineral Resources Engineering and HND in Geological engineering. I want to pursue a postgraduate diploma in Project Management, does this prove serious career advancement especially for visa approval?
Thanks.

Just based on family ties? I'm sure it was "family ties in Canada OR country of residence". Anway what's your status? Did you mention your parents, siblings, wife or any dependants? Did you include ownership of tangible properties or businesses? Did you state ongoing responsibilities such as community role etc? Even having a professional license which needs to be renewed in Nigeria can serve as a strong home tie. What did you say would make you return home when you're done and were you able to show proof(s)?

What do you expect when some newbies come here and the first or second post they ask to PM just because most of them are too LAZY to read up and get all necessary information that will better their lives.
I know the number of PMs I get on a daily basis (even from people that have never posted on this thread before) and I just delete them or ask them to ask their questions here so other could learn from it.
I know it is easier for us all to put the blame on those asking for money from others but we shouldn't forget to mention those who feel very lazy to at least write their own SOP and be involved in the process(I am not talking about those who genuinely write their SOP and only need vetting from guys here). The main problem here is that most people want to travel to Canada for studies but have NEVER visited CIC website for once, that tells how bad things are. You can imagine someone coming here to ask for application form when he/she can easily get it from CIC site.
I can remember vividly one of @SOPwritter's first post here was to advertise his business and I can't remember @justwise rebuking him for that which was strange to me then.
Finally, let's stop asking for money from others as that defeats the purpose of this great thread, also those who feel too LAZY to make simple research on their own for something this important to them should just stay back home until they are prepared.
NB: The main purpose of SOP/LOE is to explain somethings that might not be too clear to the vo, so if you think your application is clear enough for the vo to understand then you DONT NEED AN SOP/LOE.
This shouldn't take away the fact that @Justmellow and @SOPwritter have been very helpful here by taking out their time to explain some processes to people here.

Yeah your purpose of study will be a red-flag unless you can successfully convince and confuse the V.O with a Statement of Purpose

University of Manitoba offers pre-masters program in Geology. Is it advisable for a hnd holder in geological Engineering to apply for such program , is there any hope of VO approving Visa for programs like that.
Thanks again

I have seen someone with pre-masters offer getting TRV, so you can get your TRV if you package your app very well

I'd like to know the best way to handle question 6.... I have the relevant experiences and qualifications but how do I "list" them with the limited space.

I'm really confused here. Any help will be highly appreciated.

In my application I stated I had siblings in Canada who aren’t there illegally and my mum is a tie in Nigeria and also attached an offer of employment letter upon my return to Nigeria as I’m currently serving

Hello guys, this is not to deviate from the popular discussions for the past few days.

Please have applied to Toronto School of management before and what recommendations can you give on this school?

SOPWriter:
List in parallel, using comma.

Thanks man

You've really answered the "list" question. How do I provide evidence?
Or no need cos I already attached my qualifications to the application??
