Wilej:Hello Wilej. Q1. 3 to 6 months after submitting the required documents (i have heard of people who received it earlier than 3 months and some more than 6 months) Q2. Yes. They can help you gather the necessary documents and application but their job ends once you submit the application with the immigration office. No one can influence how fast or slow your application is processed by the Policia Federal. Even a Brazilian President will be put to jail for trying to influence the process lol Q3.(accommodation and hospital bills not included) 150-200 USD per person should be fine. Q4. There are good Nigerians in Brazil, but Sorry, i don't hang with my fellow Nigerians here. When you come, you will understand. Q5. If you meet the requirements for the job you should able to get it without any discrimination. Brazil has more Blacks than any African country except Nigeria. More blacks than any country in the world. More than half the Brazilian population are from black decent. Being black here is no problem. Cheers |

afelouz:Like i said before..the door will be slammed on free ride health tourism very soon, this is common sense, no country in the world creates a system whereby the rest of the world can come in and benefit without contributing a penny. Nigerians/Africans can abuse any system to a point that even the blind can see and smell it. Years ago SA welcome Nigerians and today they are killing us and sending us back to Nigeria. |

Adjo10:Can you visit Chile Visa free with Brazil PR? Also, I think there's a clause in dat Chile citizenship by birth. You have to be a resident if you are a foreigner for your child to qualify for the citizenship by birth. Can you throw more light on this ma?

Icesnow:Icesnow you are right. I even mentioned it here previously that one parent has to be a resident at the time of birth. It is however easy to be a resident. Just attending a private language school entitles you to resident permit or visa. If you use the land borders, then yes you can use your Brazilian PR to enter Chile. In fact, you can almost always just walk across the land borders in South America legally. Unfortunately, i cannot give you any further info on this as i have never given birth in Chile before. I have not even been there before. Thanks |

Adjo10:Nice one ma'am You have said it all... Money isn't what some Nigerians are looking for rather a place where the citizens are treated equally, a place where there is security, a place where basic amenities are readily available and a place where one can call a home. God bless you for your selfless act. |

| Re: Giving Birth In Brazil by Shallypop(f): 6:05pm On Sep 13, 2019 |
If Brazil isn't giving Visa, why not look at Chile. Don't go using public hospitals oo. Passport is even Visa free to US, Canada and Australia. |
| Re: Giving Birth In Brazil by afelouz(m): 9:28pm On Sep 13, 2019 |
Seems Chile's route is not that straight forward or easy like that. You need a residence permit before your baby can be a consider a Chilean. Also, there is no Chile embassy in Lagos, one needs to visit Ghana which is another stress. Shallypop: |

The Brazilian PR gives access to visit many of the Mercosul countries and Chile is one of them. Also, for your child to be a citizen of Chile, one of the parents must be a resident of Chile and Chile has flexible plans for you to obtain residency within a short period. Argentina also offers citizenship by birth to a child of foreign parents and the parents can as well obtain PR after the birth of their baby in Argentina. Icesnow: |

Good day to you all.please am new here.please I would like to ask, though on their website it states personal statement of account.should I assume that is required for some one who is under an employer.what if am the employer with a business name account statement (sole proprietorship) and company registration documents, cant both my business name account be used to sponsor my trip with my wife.Though my wife is an employee for another company of which she can use her salary account. But what about me as I don't have personal account.the business name account is my personal account.please I need everyone opinion.thanks |
| Re: Giving Birth In Brazil by inno4u: 12:20pm On Sep 21, 2019 |
swifteddy:Your company account can suffix in place of Personal Account, but it would have been better if you submit both personal and company statement of account. Gurus in the house can add to this. |
| Re: Giving Birth In Brazil by Adjo10: 1:44pm On Sep 21, 2019 |
swifteddy:Hello swiftedd. I think you will have a lot of explanations and convince to do. The truth is that they don’t trust us and in my opinion they have every reason not to. Creating a doubt in your application will not be good especially that “Personal bank account” has been put in bold on the the consulate’s website. You can contact the consulate and ask them about it. Only them can give you a definite answer in this case. I will however suggest you get a personal bank account if you intend to travel anywhere in the future. Or better still, a joint account with your wife. My opinion. Cheers |

Adjo10:The truth is that,my personal account is hardly used and doesn't have that can kind of traffic and it's not convincing, except I have to pull cash from my company account and lodge in the personal account and still go with both company account and personal.I really don't know what to do.I practically use my company account for almost all transactions and has a lot of of traffics. Thanks alot all the same.I really appreciate everyone's opinion. |
| Re: Giving Birth In Brazil by swifteddy: 6:38pm On Sep 21, 2019 |
inno4u:I think I will try combining both.though the personal account doesn't have traffic of upto 6months.I will try and also attach that of my wife as well for herself to cover.since hers is savings and has a lot of traffic.thanks alot for the input |
| Re: Giving Birth In Brazil by Adjo10: 7:03pm On Sep 21, 2019 |
swifteddy:Good idea. A combination of both and proof that the company belongs to you should be good. All the best. Cheers |

Adjo10, thanks for helping people out here, thanks for your invaluable time. Please, I want to know about Curitiba and Florinapolis, which is better compare to Sao Paulo? For a Nigerian who desires safety, low cost and integration. |
| Re: Giving Birth In Brazil by Adjo10: 10:30am On Sep 23, 2019 |
PastorMikenwab:Hello PastorM. Thanks. I must first point out that i have never lived in both cities. I have however visited both. Based on what i was told and saw in only few days there is the following: Both Floripa and Curitiba have a high standard of living. Floripa is however a lit bit safer than Curitiba. For lower cost of living, Curitiba is lower simply because Floripa is a touristic city. Anywhere with lot of tourists comes with higher rent etc. For integration, Curitiba will be better because it is far more populated than Floripa and you are more likely to come in contact with more locals than the touristic Floripa. I’m not sure but i have heard Floripa has better job opportunities than Curitiba. São Paulo however tops all cities in Brazil in terms of job opportunities. An important consideration however is that both Floripa and Curitiba have only about 2% of their population being blacks. I hardly saw any black in those two cities. I actually felt i was in Europe. The People in those 2 cities are very nice but a bit reserved than São Paulo. Curitiba also has one of the best transport system in the world. According to US magazine Reader's Digest, Curitiba is the best Brazilian Big City in which to live. In short all 3 cities have their own advantages and disadvantages. Cheers |
