New York is not good for immigrants , yes they have jobs but the cost of living is too high especially for someone fresh of the boat.

Well circumstances can be unfair sometimes, come back home.

It all depends on so many factors.

The city that he is in.
The connects that he has made

to be honest though, if you are of sound body and mind and you are physically strong, there are many ways you can make money in chicago in this post internet era. you just need a 1000 dollar investment. use the 1000 dollar to buy a satnav and a bicycle and start delivering food for uber eats which is an app. deliver food downtown chicago. you can easily make 100 dollars a day. so in this internet era you can survive easily without having employment from anyone. or without having papers.

Who tell u say uber no dey verify you add social security?. Uber will ask you on your application to submit a US state issued Driver License. How can you have a photo ID or DL in the USA when you do not have at least a work permit in 2019 ? 20 years ago, with just your Naija passport only, u can go to your local DPS, they will give you a State photo ID, even driver license.... today, that can’t happen.

I have a church member I am currently mentoring Who drives Uber part time and attends college too. When he was trying to set up his account, he was actually using my iPad, I saw it live he had to enter his social security number, that was when I realized even Uber will ask u for SSN.
