Now you can see that your millions cannot get you companionship.

Life shouldnt be so serious, just know that no matter how rich you are, if you ain't likeable, nobody is gona come near you. So what to do?

Set aside the fact that you have money, infact don't even see it as an accomplishment so that pride won't come in the way of meeting a man. Lose yourself completely and connect with someone with interests same as yours.

You can start from dating and meet up zone section, you may be lucky to find someone who shares same interests as you do.

Dear sister, the truth is I had to drop out of school cus I felt why use the little savings I have to keep funding my schooling when I know I have no body that might help me get a job. So I finished my ND and started something else. But if you won't see my not having a degree as an issue then no problems we can be friends.

Hmmm. Drop out of school Everything else about u is great and commendable. Most part relates to me. At 26 I already made my millions strictly and ridiculously indoors while simultaneously chasing a degree that took me 8 years plus to get which I'm not seeing it's relevance in the kind of life I want but just the passion kept me pushing.

Truth is your best is yet to come. I know a lot of ladies like you, Tessie George for example you can look her up on Fb. She's very successful and an indoor type too.

Attend leadership conferences, that's where you will meet the man you want there are a lot of them nowadays where they talk about motuvation, inspiration, yada yada and the church programs too churches like Christ embassy and other corporate religious organisations.

Keep it real. If you can't find love as a young person, don't fail to find money.

Good evening dear Nairalanders. I'm sorry I had to create a new account to post this. I am getting really worried about how my life may turn out. I'd be straight and brief as possible so please read and give me any advice you can. Thanks.

A brief rundown about myself.

I am going to be 25 in no time, growing up I felt there is only two paths a young lady should tow...either to forget being a fashonista and all trying to be neck deep in her outlook or calm down, first things first, work hard and make money (if possible be a millionaire before 25). I choose the later and as God will have it, my dream turned a reality.

Now, while I was in this journey of not turning out to be a lady who will never be able to foot her own bills, I forgot everything about being girlie. I never what it means to have female friends or hang out with any, I don't care so much about knowing the latest party and posh places or even taking all the posh pictures like the ladies in my age bracket would. I was focused to a fault. I saved to a fault.

I might not have everything I desire but I am indeed comfortable for a young lady who made it out of the ghetto life of Igbogbo.

Now my pain..

I do most of my jobs from home and therefore I am mostly within the confines of my apartment.
No boyfriend, no fiance talk more of a husband.
I don't have any friend and I don't know to make any friend for as a result of I trying to find my feet in life, I have had, experienced, seen and heard nasty behaviours of human. I keep people at arms length. I am afraid of an average human for I believe anybody can do anything even things you don't expect of them. embarassed

I already observed that slaying and all the girlie ish is obviously not a part of me as i prefer to brainstorm and think of how to expand my business which I know an average lady my age, that is the least of her worries.

I know I need a man in my life. I don't know if it's a stereotype but I think ages 24-26 is the right age (as i have made to believe) a woman should at be at least settled Maritally. How do I go about getting a man to date and marry? Where are the places I should go to? Remember I said I have NO friends so no wedding invitations.

Am I stressing myself? But I am almost 25 and no man and truly in my hearts of hearts I know I want to be a wife someday and have a good family so need to lie about anything. Where do ladies meet their boyfriends? Not the playboys or those with pulled down shorts.

Please what do I do? What are the places to go? I tried hanging out to places for drink but you know how it feels and looks for a young lady to sit out on her own.

P.S. Yes I am not desperate but I am concerned.

Did i make a mistake by holding my life first instead of being all what the social media ladies are?

I just opened an Instagram account yesterday and still don't know how to use the app or what to do there. You can imagine the kind of lady I have become. Yes I can dress neat and combine my wears. Forget ugly, I ain't. I could do a nice make up on my face when ever I have 2 hours to spare. Never a boring fella. I just don't know how to find someone I could share all the happiness, joy and street wise advise with.
Please help me. cry cry cry I am so lonely. I only come on nairaland whenever I am bored. Enough said.

I am open to questions. Any at all.

I can relate with your experience if what you've put up here is true. Got admission to the university in 2015 and made up my mind not to meddle into any relationship but to give my all to studies. And that has been the deal though it's not funny. Pressures here and there until I almost rescind my decision. I'm glad I'll be done with studies this year pretty well. You made the right decision right from the outset, please don't blow it now no matter the pressure. Let go of your concentration on your age and you'll be all right. Not sure, but I infer you may be a Christian, please hang on to God for his perfect guidance.

I don't really give advice on NL but I just feel I should do this.

1) Always remember, it is better to be hungry than to be poisoned. It is better to be single than to be in a useless, unfruitful relationship.

2) An hungry man doesn't discriminate whether food doesn't have enough Maggi or curry. He just gobs it all down. Don't let desperation cloud your eyes. If anything, now is the time to be very careful.

3) Instead of asking for advice on a public space like this, why not find trusted mentors and confidantes? I say this because when you're seeking for advice in turbulent times, your heart wants respite at every chance, and it might not discern good intentions from foolish comments/advice.

4) Some people have been typing utter rubbish - ignore them. They are children with Internet enabled smartphones.

5) Don't try to change your personality to fit someone's expectation of "love". Note, personality is different from attitude. You can have a very gentle personality and very rotten attitude.

6) I'll recommend the book Secrets of an Irresistible Woman by Michelle McKinney Hammond. Great read, deep truths.

PS:
I wrote in proverbs because I am not hundred percent sure about the veracity of your story. I don't want to expend" words on a troll, but if you're really really truthful, then we'll keep this connection open.

Cheers!

Happy living. Your story inspired me.

PS - Rereading without the spectacles of cynicism makes your story seem truer. Maybe you're not a troll after all. Well well, if any of what I said makes sense, or you've a question, comment or whatnot, kindly quote this.

smiley smiley smiley......Sis calm down, you are still very young. Now is the perfect time to search for that special man. The answer is to join a church asap, trust me, you will meet people in less than 3months, then make your choice. After joining a church fix yourself in a department. Never act like you are in a hurry after service, be free, nice and welcoming.

I would not advice you meet any guy here, through this account or your previous account, but if you must meet, never date a man who follows the mis-educations threads, other wack threads, an alpha male, etc,he will bring you sorrow. smiley .

Get yourself acquainted with females of good character, we have them everywhere. I wish you luck.

Times have changed so get rid of the idea that 25 is old. This is the perfect time to take your relationship more seriously. This will require a lot of understanding yourself and your needs. Set boundaries and be the type of person you are looking for. I see you settled down and married by your late 20s which is perfect because you will be better with age. Age isn't a curse it's you been refined and perfected. The worst thing you can do now is to panic and make mistakes and trust me the person you marry is the most important decision of your life so pick with caution and from a place of abundance instead of a place of lack.

Let me take out a few secs and and knack you some better sense..."Schmuck or simp" should never be in a sentence for they in the end, convey same message and are similar in meaning although I knew you directed them towards the everlasting bastard that fathered a fortified ignoramus of your type but in my own way of showing you that you are an educated illiterate who only sleeps and wakes but with a dictionary instead of going to the nearest celestial church for heavy beating with da "HOLY CANE" to liberate you and your generation unborn from the wicked sharp claws of poverty, I choose to give you a lil attention so you don't blade yourself to death.

Yo I'm Sagittarius and 25 too.

1. You're young and not late AT ALL

2. You're unique and so will your husband. As a guy, my turn ons are: smarts (business, life, street, book); languages (Nigerian and European); natural humour. Not slay queening. I'm sure there are millions others like me who are not looking for airheads.

3. You've worked on yourself and your business shebi, consider this to be a new, side, project. Learn about IG, learn about tinder (for reals, smart people are there too). Don't focus on changing the person you are. Focus on expressing the person you've become.

4. Networking. No spirit man is going to come to your house. You can meet like minded people at events. Add 1/2 events a week to meet people (male and female). Interested in a language, join a speaking group; like a topic, join or host a networking event on it.

5. Use the network you already have. Check out the people you already know, you might find a gem right under your nose. Also, your current friends and acquaintances could link you up with possible dates.

Good luck dear. Stay confident!

I only hope this little piece of advise wouldn't be falling on deaf or wrong ears as the faceless media these day anything can happen.... Anyway, yes your age is still very normal to be battling with what U are presently... Life the way we never understood it ,comes with its baggage.... Why do U think you will see a cute dude with no prospects, a blonde girl without brains, a very beautiful but deaf or dumb gal, a rich but not satisfied individual....these are few I can remember oh yes have not seen a bottle shaped perfect ass girl but no breast? What. Trynna tell u is there is always a price to pay for almost everything on life....am not saying you have paid your price but what if you have ?
