Take a step. Register on any of the platforms and start. As you go on you can be asking questions. But start first.
Register full time. But drive the car as part time. Lexus is not fit for the business.

Wished you had contacted mosbus pertaining to this your ac issue. I strongly believe he would have offered you professional service for less that price.

Chief, I did .He gave me his workshop address at isolo but the person who borrowed me the money said i should allow this nearby( Maryland) technician work on it, that it would be easy to drive to his shop if need arises than navigating through isolo.
And people around here said he knows his onions.
The stupid onions wey don ground my motor since last Wednesday.

I was once in this situation, where I had successful friends who wanted to help but could not for the sake of friendship. Continue with the plan but you need to make him understand that N2m is not 2naira. For someone who does not have N50k to handle N2m asset is not as easy as it seems. Prepare your friends mindset to appreciate this gesture. This happened to me, a friend who wanted to help me, but before could release the money he made me go through some drills, after sometime I felt I don't need the money anymore, and moved. I and the guy are still friends today, i appreciate his effort, he was surprised I haven't mentioned the loan anymore. Work on your guy for some months and prepare him, his reaction will show how he will fend. Good luck.
Thanks to everyone I appreciate all the contributions and ideas I honestly don’t think I’m ready to take this risk of uncertainty from popes experience my thought now is what if I couple the car for 2m and after 3 months he eventually secure a corporate job, what will happen to my capital.... Abeg make God bless my friend I’m done...

Whao! 80% of people I’ve asked gave this same advice but honestly I can’t afford to give him the car I guess I’ll have to re-evaluate the whole thing.... bless up brother

Chai!!!!!!.
People do change, that was why I advised you earlier to make a firm agreement with your friend, this offer of yours might just he what your friend needs for financial breakthrough.

If he bleeps up, you have the chance to take your car and sell it, though you may incur little loss, but take this risk of this little loss for the sake of friendship. Give him a chance please.

If he was really your friend back home, do this for him

Muyiwaadekunle1, I just read your stories, it is well.

Forget village people, shit happens. I have my own stories of failures, everyone does. It all makes our success story sweeter.

It only takes a little breakthrough for you to forget all these sour experiences. In fact, you forget them like it never happened before, remain strong.

Please don't be lazy, make a move first, whatever you will read here is also on uber's website. If you're lazy to check uber's page first then you might have too many problems doing the business

My Matrix consumes a lot of fuel. This is my first week on the job and I made 75k total but I spent almost 40k on fuel. And I don't run around much. The other day I bought fuel of 2k and it couldn't take me from Gbagada to Gerrard road in Island and back to Gbagada.
I've serviced the injector and it seems to have gotten worse. Opinions needed urgently.....

I've dropped the matrix off for the owner. Peace of mind is something I don't joke with. He said that there are drivers out there begging him for the car. I pity the next victim. Anyways I'm single and searching again... Just in case.

No sir... There's actually no pro without the first step of reading thru the pages of this thread. Besides that Lexus ES330 is not best for the job and the target you set. 20-30k should be your target except you get legit offline deals. Meanwhile we could talk.

Baba you make me laugh. You are making it sound like you're helping your friend when actually both of you are going for business. With this mindset alone you're already envisaging problems where there's none.

Type of car to buy you didn't mention
Tokumbo or naija use or brand new we no know.
Mode of operation we weren't told.

If you want business... Buy your car, give to the guy, with a contractual agreement and look away... Any default qualifies you to retrieve your car as stipulated in the contract. You said what about three months into it and he get a better job? Shey no be better thing? Then your car still stays as your car and the next driver continues while he forfeits whatever he has paid before then. Its a win win for you as car owner. So bro do whatever brings money to your pocket and sip a bottle of Trophy as you do.

Will your friend take away the car if he gets another job? The car is still yours and you can decide to sell it or look for another driver. It is still your gain. You've been advised to make a proper agreement that will bind both parties.

Anyway, it is your money and your call.

Good luck to you and good luck to your friend. May fortunes smile on him

I will share a little story of my life with you hopefully you will get the lesson there.

I was fresh out of sch and couldn't secure a meaningful job. Decided to jump into the streets and hustle for my self. Jumped in and made a terrible decision by trusting strangers i met on here. Got stranded and out of options but guess what a stranger (not anymore though) who has had himself jilted severally from people on here took a chance on me and we have a wonderful relationship.
Recently i took a chance on someone just like i had had and guess what? My money is hanging in the air as i speak.
My angel came from NL same way the Demons did. If my helper's heart turned cold from all the padt experiences, who knows where i would be right now.

Mr Nightlife100. You could be the miracle that this young man has been praying for.
Come to think of it. If my helper didnt help me he would lose nothing but i on the other hand might have lost everything including hope.
If you take a chance with this man that you know and trusted until some people pushed their insecurities on you, you have less to lose as you can retrieve your car and sell off but him on the other hand might just continue in his misery.
Allow God to use you.

Here: ask him to raise 50-100k in a month time to commit to the job. If he does, then you know he is hungry enough for the opportunity and wont take it for granted and if he can't then make your decision.

For the guys here, we have all had bad experiences but lets not let the world make us cold and heartless.

May God be with us all.

May God bless you. I gave him same advice earlier. He has nothing much to lose, he can sell the car if the friend misbehaves. I want to believe the friend in question wasn't really a closed friend of his while in Nigeria.
