A saying goes thus: 'Every publicity is good publicity'. I don't necessarily agree with that premise but one thing is certain: bad people often receive a lot of goodwill. At the end of the day, if everyone decides it's okay for indecent people (like our politicians) to be placed on a high pedestal, it shouldn't change the fact that bad deeds and attitude shouldn't be exalted or rewarded.
