Why is so hard to say the truth but easy to tell a lie!
I always wonder though .

Please tell her the truth, then take her to the hospital for a proper diagnosis. Why are you so shy to tell her the truth ? Do you like the embarrassment?

Kindly tell her that you have noticed a fowl smell for long from her body . That is she ok down there? You like to take her to the hospital so they can check her up .

Simple as ABC!

Sit with your mom and start a gist then tell her. Also add that you have decided she see an Obgyn doctor and you will be paying for it. Make sure you do the rest - paying for treatment.

Madam,this is a simple issue.
1. Schedule a visit to a family physician with your mom. Just tell her that since she's in your house, let her go for general checkup.
Before the visit, try and meet the doctor and explain the situation to him. Hmm... You're matters will be treated confidentially. The MO will just pretend as if you meet for the first time during the visit. History taking will be done, head to toe assessment, with various test(investigations) be conducted to give actual diagnosis of your mother's condition. If it warrant to see a specific specialist, the family physician with determine that.
On a lighter note,a good house officer will be able the handle that matter, self but pref... a reg or consultant.

Buy her grooming sets, treated undies and mild antiseptic soap as gift

She should also see a doctor first. Apparently the infection is still untreated

A good gynecologist should be able to help. Most people stop their medication once symptoms cease. You need to finish your antibiotic or other medication regimen

no. Dont call a family meeting.

Take her to see a doctor but speak to the doctor first before the scheduled meeting.

An incomplete miscarriage can cause serious bacteria infection and i guess that is where the smell is coming from.

She needs to do a scan first and then the doctor will know what to do.

Very simple. Spot on

Speak to the doc first and get her to see the doc. The treatment will be incorporated into the regime of any facade or placebo that will be presented.

My dear you should be concerned and try to get her help. If anyone finds this funny, you're simply childish. Do you know that some types of cancers start with an odd smell?

Well, seat her down one day and tell her that you want her to follow you to the obgyn for a check up. Tell her about pap smear and every 3 year cervical cancer screening. You too should have yours done with her. If you can see the doctor before she enters, quickly inform the doctor to take note of the smell and inform her of the very odd smell in advance so that the doctor will include that in her tests.
From there, you can even go and do other tests like dental check up, eye tests etc, so that she won't think it's because of the smell.

If she refuses to go to the hospital then just tell her point blank, mummy that smell you used to have is getting worse and I am concerned that it may be the symptom of a more severe illness. We're going to the hospital tomorrow and I will book you in for other routine tests.
