If he , must drink alchohol, then he cant drink at a lounge and he cant buy premium brands like hennesy and heineken.. he most strictly drink low cost drinks like hero, goldberg , 33 , trophy or spirits and his entertainment option should be limited to Startimes a, gotv or buying pirated dvds..

In fairness.. strugling couples who are positive minded tend to enjoy thier marriage, building wealth together and sharing life experience together, doing house chores together, playing together when bored, gisting and sharing goofy jokes to spice up the atmosphere (not to forget the spontenous unplannedd sex, and the random quickie )

For such marriage to work emphasis must be placed on THE WORD "TOGETHER"

A guy earning 50k who doesn't spend anyhow is better than a man earning 200k and squandering it without even saving anything.
Some guys still have younger siblings that they have to send money to which may also lower d amount he saves


When I was in secondary school,my teachers earned only 20k(tho it was before d inflation of 2016 where cost of things skyrocketed ).they were happily married and most of them had side hustles too.

Let me tell a story of this lady I know. She had a baby for a man who later dumped her. Then she had another baby for a young guy. This young guy wanted to write her but she didn't agree because he wasn't rich. She was also relying on her beauty to get a wealthy guy.
To cut the story short, this young guy now resides in Italy, and just got married this year.

I guess the lady above is talking about the wedding. We often interchange it with marriage. I have made up my mind not to marry a Nigerian Lady and that has been my decision, don't get me wrong, they're good for dating parole but make no mistake marrying them.

We are often myopic in out thinking, will he earn 50k forever? Will he remain in tha position forever? In my field as at engineer, you get to a certain age and by reason of experience you become a consultant. What happens to marrying a 30-35year old man who can start having 1 or 2 kids early so u can enjoy them while you grow up with them.

Average life's expectancy in Nigeria for men is 55, so if majority of Ladies have this kind of stupid mindset, how long will the young man earn before he can break even, take care of his kids, try and please his ostentacious wife before dead comes knocking.
