Bozzyironlady:
It's a long read with lots of grammatical errors, please bear with me.

8:30am, a number called my business line saying his name was Mr Wale that he knows me and wants to introduce me to a church member who wants to make an inquiry about make up, and he asks if I was something something touch that he couldn't remember the name again, truly my company's name has touch on it. So he asked if I had a pen and paper to take down the woman's number that I should call her immediately, then get back to him.

So I called the said woman, she was all prayerful thanking me, praising me and I was awed.

She said the company where she works are in need of a makeup artist, that they are celebrating their 25th anniversary and they want to do a beauty pageant.

the woman who was doing it for them before is sick and she's indisposed at the moment, so Mr Wale recommended me and the way he spoke of me she knew I'll be very good with the job

She also wants me and her to do a back door deal, that I should tell the boss of the company that each contestants makeup will cost nothing less than 50k each and when the boss agrees to it that we'll both share it 70% to me and 30% to her, so I agreed.

She told me to send the complete name of my company and it's address that she's drafting a letter to send to her boss and she'll call me back in a minute.

She called five minutes later, saying her boss has agreed to meet me, that I should dressed cooperate and classy and should wait for his call to schedule a meeting.

Now the scam part.
She said there was a deal she and the other woman(the sick woman that does their makeup before) usually do, that there's a cleaning agent they use for the walkway, so as the contestants not to fall on stage and when the boss ask of this product I should tell him the price is 140k the change on it, we'll both share it and she's going to send the number of the supplier to me so as to discuss more on it.

I called the number his name was pastor peter, he said the product per gallon is 100k and that was the final price, so I thought to myself since there's 40k on top, then the price is fair.

I called Mrs bola to inform her of my discussion with the supplier, she said its a fair price too and that i should await the call of her boss.

Five minutes went to twenty minutes to almost an hour no call from her boss, so I called her to let her know I've not seen her bosses call, she told me to hold on that she'll call him now maybe he's in a meeting. A minute later he called, we talked about the things that will be needed for the contestants to make them glow and more beautiful on that day, to my surprise he agreed on the price.

The first red flag.
He brought up the issue of the cleaning agent and to be sincere I wasn't really interested in that aspect of the job but since she wanted me to do it, I had to oblige her.

He said my sister(mrs bola) talked about the cleaning agent and she's giving him the guarantee that I was supplying the best and it's made in Germany, that when I'm coming to his office I should bring a sample that he will like to see it for him self.

I called Mrs bola, told her everything we discussed. she advised I call the supplier and I should try to work a deal with him. I called the supplier to please give me a sample that I promise we'll be buying 30 gallons of it, he said he can't that Nigerians are not to be trusted, I told him I understand that he should please work out something for me. He said i should call him in the next five minutes that he wants talk to his boss.

I called him five minutes later, he said his boss has agreed in the condition that I deposit half the money, if my client doesn't like it my money will still be refunded to me. I called Mrs bola, informed her about the discussion the supplier and I had, she said I was smart and that I was going to go places with my level of intelligence and in fact the job is mine, I was so happy and fulfilled.

I called the supplier and we agreed to meet at palmgroove junction and I was going to pay him 50k.
On my way to palmgroove, I boarded a bus. The bus wasn't filled up so I sat and waited, Mrs bola called few minutes later to know how far with things I told her I was already on my way in fact I am in the bus as I'm talking to her, she said I should let her know immediately I'm with the product.

Few minutes, the bus moved I felt a cold wind blew me and I realized my self and started thinking about the whole thing. I alighted from the bus with the excuse that I forgot something at home.

47minutes later Mrs bola kept calling me, asking how far I told her I was there, that I've not seen the supplier.

She called and called and called, but I kept telling them I was there and I didn't not see them.
Maybe they realized I knew they were scammers, but they've stopped calling me, not after I made sure I wasted their own time and airtime.

SO NIGERIAN BEAUTY ARTIST, PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND BEWARE OF SCAMMERS.
IF IT'S TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, ITS A SCAM.

Pls,let us not forget that this is the season when they use innocent ladies and men for rituals...let us be warned!

Dont go to people/strangers house to measure or paint their nails and fingers, and if u must go,pls do not go alone.

Nigeria has been plunged into a banana republic or better still a jungle by our wicked leaders.

Pls be watchful!

yes but some tame it while others let it run wild ,the latter is what a larger population of Nigerians decided to do.

Any non-greedy sensible person would have backed down when they heard the shady deal ,OK fine, she even wanted to supply detergent ,lol abeg , lets be realistic i wont trust the op not the rip off her/his next client when conditions are favourable.

I got your point. I wouldn't want to blame her much all the same. Opportunities come in various ways. It is well.

That there is the problem, everyone wants short cuts, wants their share. I dont blame her for picking their call o but i blame her for agreeing to short change a third party, that right there shows the op lacks integrity.

Its not an opportunity if you have to cheat another person to get it.

Lol thank God have been waiting for this day, This woman almost scammed me too.
Am a photographer, d woman also got my number from the claimed pastor. They said they wanna have a NGO programme for children so m to cover the photobook and video covering summing up around 200k, She now also gave me d number of dis pastor Peter who was a supplier to get a product valued at 100k per gallon also asking me to inflate the price, they now ask their boss which was a Mallam to call me to negotiate the price of both the d product and d price of d project i wanna do we agreed. The boss asked for the testing of d product to confirm whether it was German or China , D woman now ask Me to pay for the sample so I can bring it to dier office and collect my money thereafter. I now think twice this might be a Scam 1)Why would u ask a photographer u dunno to help u collect a contract to supply something, u gat friends and family that could u conveniently do that
2) Why would u ask me to pay for a product, can't u pay for it and help u bring it to ur office once am coming to collect money for d contract
3) I went further to research on d company of d supplier, I couldn't see it on Google nd no verified claims.
4) I checked on d product also, it was for automobile functions. I now think why would they share automobile product to children? Lol that got me shock, I call d woman back that I wanna use the money with me, she don know say I don kana, d woman just started vexing for phone, I called her back she no pick again. lmaoooooo

Thank God you didn't lose money.

Next time before you do such business make sure you at least one of them personally

It is well.
Pls be aware of these people, they have been using the same method to dupe people. A guy in my area is into photography. He was duped almost 60k of his hard earned money by this same pastor Peter and Mrs Bola. The same chemical they sold to him. He was invited to Mushin from ikorodu. The guy has photography shop at Benson street behind Jumofak bus stop ikorodu.
The same method was used to collect 60K from him. Pls Nigeria don't be greedy and looking for short corner to become rich.

Something similar happened to me...

Someone called saying he was Dr Peter, he wanted to know if my company can supply some drugs... I told him I'm not into drugs, I'm into ICT.

He said the person who recommended me claimed I could do the job, First I became suspicious cos I was talking business with a stranger, secondly he did not mention the name of the referral.

But I played along, he said I'm based in Zaria ryt, I said yes, however I'm based in kwara but my business was registered with Zaria address, I became more suspicious... But I played

He said I needed to go and pick up the drugs at ABUTH, I asked me to call Dr xxxxc can't remember the name, He asked me to over inflate the price, I was going to make over 5m that day...

The red flag.....
After calling all and sundry and everything was going well.. I told the pastor I'm currently I'm Zaria and would drive to the teaching hospital to meet the Dr xxxxc... I called the Dr xxxxc that I was at the hospital, his responses weren't coherent...

He did not know the hospital properly, I asked him where I was to deliver the drugs, he said Government House in Zaria... I told him the Government house wasn't in Zaria, it was in Kaduna. He began to stutter...

When I called the Dr xxxxc he said why did I want to see him, I should transfer the money and he would direct me to go and pick the drugs at the pharmacy... I just laughed cos I was far away in Kwara state... I took the account no to a bank, kept discussing with the criminals in front of the BM/BOS etc... They dealt with the case.

I immediately called my husband and he laughed that he got the same call and the man asked about me,called me by my name! My husband played along, called all the people he was asked to call, eventually lied to have transferred 1.2 million. Scam is real these days.

My recent experience will shock people, coming from my course mate. We graduated over 10 years ago, for most of us, our meeting place is on facebook.

Oh, hi how are you doing, where do you work. I don't really post picture updates on my page but i sign in to just check on some people and one day she said hi.

Hi...., oh Chic, been a while, how's everything,? Where do you work.... she asked me. She was only asking to know if I owe.

Long story short, she form stories for me and sent her money 3 good times. She came back again and am like but this is one happening babe in school back then now. Picked my phone and called another course mate, low n behold, Bim na scammer oo. This other course mate too had sent her money like 3 times before confirming from another school mate.

Imagine how many course mates or school mates send her money through facebook contact. She hasn't been exposed, I don't know how to do this and I think just a few of us are aware she is a scammer. I haven't even put it to her, she has left so many messages for me again on Facebook complaining about how she and her family hasn't eaten for days.

Enough said about scammers, risk only what you can give away.

Not hacked bro, I know her full name. I sent money to her account with her full names.

She hasn't even changed her name to her husband's name. Plus I spoke with her and she sent me her account details via sms.

Are you sure she is the one though? Someone may have hijacked her facebook account without her knowledge. If anyone has her phone number, they should contact her directly to double check.

Update:
Just read your other replies about actually talking to her. She's got no shame then.

Any time you hear Alfa, pastor, brother, sister, plenty prayers start alerting your brain to scam.
Don't pay in advance with hope of getting back your investment with profit.
Have integrity. You agree to inflate price. Tgat is scam too. You planned to cheat the organisers. Thank your stars that you woke up.
