Xisnin: where did I ask Adeboye to feed me? You are too brainwashed to understand, the man and 90% of his like are all con-men feeding fat off the gullible like yourself. And BTW Adeboye is not a private citizen, except you think church is a private business. It is precisely because of people like Adeboye, that Society has lost all it's sense of morality, the moral police has no morality. Cue our friend the Unilag pastor using prayer to seduce underage girls, yesterday it is pastor accused of rape. This is what your pastors do...if it is not embezzling church funds, it is seducing female congregation. is it therefore any surprise society is what it is? And you are there shaking your head...ode!!! 1 Like |

Richdad50:Well said Bro,indeed, you have spoken the Millions minds.Deep called the deep. This is why we warned those sitting near the Buhari Govt to be careful about the VP. Osinbajo might came in unknown but has now become a known personality and mighty because he was chosen by Almighty God. The Cabals or whatever name they are called should not bring Constitutional problem to Nigeria through dubious means by proxy, since they are now packaging everything. They should know better that Nigeria of yesterday is different from today and as put by Obesere'' Egungun be careful because you are dancing on the express road''.God Bless Nigeria. |

yewawa: Yes o. With deepest respect to our daddy GO, I think he got it wrong regarding the border closure. Our neighbors have been unfairly exploiting the porous border to their advantage, and this must stop. I read somewhere how Benin republic was importing far more rice than it can consume, and no doubt most of it ends up here, to the detriment of our local farmers. |

Financial Discipline in 2nd Republic! It will shock you to know that then President Shehu Shagari’s take home was N25,000 per annum. At that time, the National Assembly fixed a salary of N1million per annum for Shagari but he rejected it, saying it was too much. They came down to N500,000, but he still rejected it and said N25,000 per annum was enough for him because everything was being taken care of at Dodan Barracks. So they went back to the drawing board and decided that the Vice President and President of the Senate should earn N20,000 per annum while the Speaker of the House of Representatives would earn N18,000 per annum. Senators got N15,000 each and Reps N12,000 per annum respectively. Senators were supposed to be given constituency allowance to open offices and employ members of staff for four years. They only gave them N10,000 to open an office and buy furniture. Out of their salaries, government said they had to pay rent if government gave them houses. They were also given N10,000 car loan and they were supposed to repay within three years. So after deductions they ended up having N780 per month. How much is the package of a senator now? Nowadays, no senator gets less than N30million every month. Can you compare N30m with N780? |

iyilowo: Revisionist. Financial discipline my left ***. Second republic legislators were among the most corrupt. Ask anyone old enough and they will tell you how people rejoiced when the military (incidentally PMB) took over. Fact is the greedy nature of our politician didn't start yesterday. It's always been there. |

Ikpeazukerosene:There are over 3million in IDP Camps, So even if they offer as little as a pack of noodles, it is still a commendable effort at feeding the victims of war. They also pay hospital bills but the population is beyond their capacity. With all the taxes the govt collect, yet there are millions who have no access to basic health care and thousands in the streets begging. Can you now imagine how foolish you are. Ruga idiot. |

He lamented many Nigerians were suffering when the wealth of their nation are just in few hands who have refused to let go. Look at this hypocrite! SMH He bemoaned the condition of commoners, saying it was insensitive for the federal government to consider bringing back toll gates when the roads were in bad conditions. Says the milking the same commoners. Lol |

You want government to spend more on infrastructure. Where would it get this "more" from? It has to come from taxes. Comparing tax revenues across the world: Nigeria: 6% Ghana: 21% SA: 27% US: 27% UK: 34% Japan: 35% Norway: 55% We only ask that the money is spent wisely on people, not stolen. |

Which way Nigerians, when reputable people keep quiet on issues. We tagged them insensitive, when they speak out... we still call for their heads. Lending a voice against #NextLevel of suffering is appropriate at this crucial time. |
