Will your votes alone makes Soludo the President? No President can emerge without the votes from the North. The North will always decide on who becomes the President. As it stands now, we will never allow any Igbo man rule this Country. Any minority tribes can, but Igbo's can't.

Don't instigate war between hausa fulani and igbos, because that is where your post is pushing things to. The hausa fulani can't match igbos

The Senator representing Jonathan's Zone is from APC, they also have a Reps member.

If anyone should hate APC the most, it should be those from his immediate constituency!! Exceot you are telling me northerners were the ones that voted them in Jonathan's constituency.

Ijaws arent hate filled people. If you're filled with hate, you're probably not Ijaw.

The ijaw man we know the most on the forum, Barca, isnt here cursing and insulting daily. They've moved on! Tompolos brothers, despite everything, arent here cursing and insulting daily. Neither are they trying to bring down the government.

If you have nothing reasonable to say, simply read comments and walk on.
If that's your report that Ijaw are in support of this retrogressive party then you are clearly not sane. Not only insulting that your party destroyed this country, it's extremely modifying that you want Ijaw to take equal responsibility with you people on this backwards leadership you are doing. If we go by your logic, then your accusation on Igbos have no bearing since they have reps that are APC and one of their past governor was an APC. Bayelsa, River, Delta, and other states Ijaw are indigenous despite APC utilizing violence to try and force yourself on us, we made sure we kept you people off our leadership role thus, you have to be an insulting bastard to continously attempt to force yourself on us despite we've repeatedly pushed you people away. Go to River State, Bayelsa, etc and ask opinion about APC and see for yourself how out of tune in reality you are.

Oh only Barca is Ijaw on this forum? Nobody else is Ijaw? The only description of Ijaw is by supporting a retrogressive government and leadership APC controls? I said you're not sane and I'm confident on that. Yes, you're very much correct Ijaws are not hateful or insulting. We are not you. The hate that you accuse Igbos of, you and other APC supporters on this forum were the antagonist that started it. I was on this forum to see the hateful comments you repeatedly made towards Igbos pre-2015 election and post-2015 election. Pot calling the kettle black

If you wanted me to read and move on, you shouldn't have insulted Ijaw by bringing us into your comment. Since you did, I have to correct the false narratives you wrote and made sure you didn't insult Ijaw again.

Insults blackmails and threats will not give igbos the Presidency, restitution for behavior post 2015, earning the genuine trust of other Nigerians and above all openly jettison the idea of Biafra may help.

Success in Democracy is getting the numbers, igbos at the moment don’t and can’t get the numbers

I will take Yoruba Muslims serious the day they start to sight the moon on their own without waiting for their superior masters from Hausa-Fulani to sight the moon for them.

As I read through all ur comments, I can easily detect the hatred of the Yoruba man for the IBO's. The IBO man must wise up and know who their real enemy's are! The IBO's should know that the Yoruba man are his real enemy not even the north east and west.

As for the office of the president, the IBO's have a better chance as of today than the Yoruba's come 2023. All that we the south south need from them, is unit among themselves, they have our 100% support. Ask an average mid beltan he/she is in support of IBO presidency come 2023, the only people that think differently are the Yoruba's.

No IBO president 2023, no sourthern president. Let it remain in the north beyond 2023. Yoruba keep demonstrating their greediness on social media

This shows you how troublesome and bigoted Igbos are. Igbokwe even told them off for this. They will never listen. Come election time , when it is obvious they have no support and that it is "mission impossible", they resort to blackmail and then label the likes of Igbokwe "Efulefu".

Please Stop Embarrassing The Igbo By Joe Igbokwe
If igbos are troublesome and bigoted then Nigeria doesn't have any issue because all they need to do is call a referendum and their problem is gone. But if it is Nigeria that are bigoted hateful and troublesome then Nigeria has very big unsolvable problems that will keep recurring on a yearly basis and wouldn't allow them allow igbos to leave or lead .

SalemCiti:
An All Progressives Congress chief in Niger State, Jonathan Vatsa, has said the emergence of Nigeria’s President from the South-East in 2023 is a right and not a privilege.

Addressing journalists in Minna, Niger State capital on Friday, Vatsa, who is a former Niger State commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, said every well-meaning Nigerian, good Christian and Muslim must support a President of Nigeria of South-East extraction.

“If Nigerians have conscience, equity and justice demand that they should allow the Igbo to produce the next President in 2023.

“I am convinced that the Igbo have made their consultations from the North, South and the majority of them are in support of a Nigerian President of Igbo extraction.”

He expressed displeasure that some politicians from the North had called for the cancelation of rotational presidency between the North and South for what they termed meritocracy.

Vatsa said Ndigbo were highly detribalised and could be found in the remotest villages in Nigeria, living peacefully and doing their businesses and paying taxes.

He condemned the Arewa agitation for power to remain in the north, saying, “A lot of Arewa officials have been speaking that power should remain in the North as if it is their birthright; Nigeria belong to all of us and it is bigger than what we think it is. In the spirit of fairness, if we really want to be together, the Igbo should be given a chance in 2023.

“Apart from the time of Dr Nnamdi Azikwe and General Aguiyi Ironsi, we have never had Igbo President; so the Igbo should rise up and take what is due to them. The northerners are ready to support them and I am calling on the Igbo to speak with one voice if they must win in 2023. They must come together and forget their differences.”

He however warned that the Igbo should watch out for those who would collect money either from the north or South-West to sell their conscience, adding that the Igbo man should not be treated as second citizens in Nigeria.

At this point I can sadly conclude that it's over for this country. Going by the comments so far we are far from getting a solution to our increasing problems.

So its no more about competence, its about region, religious etc yet we desire to be like those that produce the best for their country, what a hypocritical nation.

I'm highly saddened that most of these deluded elements wasting their time on which region that is good enough to produce the next president are youths, lazy and senseless youths littered everywhere in this country. Shameless people

I'm from south east and I careless where the next president comes from. I have toured the whole of south west, I can tell u there is literally no difference between these states and that of south eastern states despite claiming to have had the president more than south east and being more relevant in Nigeria's political scheme. I don't want to talk about North, sufferings everywhere in this country yet we are yet to have sense...

Let's just admit that it's over for this country

The only political advantage anyone can have is if zoning or the existing power sharing formular favours you. That apart, there is nothing like right nor privilege in politics. If you want it enough, go get it. Power is never given, rather, its negotiated for, and taken.

So many idiots in nairaland will start shouting what do Igbos want? President or Biafra.

A lot of Nigerians are useless I swear. In a country where everyone is dying of hunger, tribalism and sentiment will not allow us fight together to demand a better welfare.

Look at demonstrations in Iraq, in Ecuador, in everywhere where the masses are stampeded.

In Nigeria, we sell our collective demand to nepotism. If my person is there, I keep quiet. As if he even know u. Shame
it's a shame now tribalism and nepotism have blinded Nigerians
